SnoopGames QA was an excellent partner in a very crazy time of our game development. We have very little time and direction to give SnoopGames and they were extremely thorough, flexible and organized. They were able to take on last minute requests and even weekend work when needed. I could not be happier with the partners SnoopGames QA is and look forward to working with them.

Once we had the game / features in a place that were ready for testing SnoopGames came in and tested and re-tested providing very organized notes and details on any bugs found

We were in a very tight timeline so being able to rely on SnoopGames to do a thorough job of finding bugs and reporting while we focused on fixing and finalizing all the features was huge.

Our team took mainly care of the game development, while SnoopGame took care of the QA and testing of the game. We adjusted our operations so that our development was aligned with project management, sprints and deliverables.

We have had a team in place for the project that has been changing from 6 persons to over 10 persons from time to time. SnoopGame has had mainly one person to take care of QA and testing, while sometimes they have complemented their team with additional persons, according to our needs.

The game we developed has tens of millions of users and it is a game that we are still currently supporting.

Adjusting to work with external team is always a hustle at the first stage. What has been working well with SnoopGame is that we've managed to improve and align our processes continuously as we've moved further with the project.

SnoopGame is affordable, yet quality partner for QA needs. They adjust and align according to the needs over time.

We’ve run an internal beta test with the help of SnoopGame. SG team performed a full-stack test that helped us to fix game mechanics and to get rid of bugs before game release

We wanted to ensure our game worked strictly in accordance with the documentation. Also, we wanted to receive feedback on our game from experienced gamers

How did you select this vendor?

We’ve made research that gave us a list of QA companies. After initial contact with each there left 2 companies we would like to work with. SnoopGame Free Trial showed their high qualification level and convinced us to make a decision in their favor.

Describe the project in detail.

We’ve received QA lead on our project, who performed communication between our development team and SG QA. Each test iteration was accompanied by detailed Test report that included bug report, UX feedback and questions QA team faced with. After our development team fixed bugs, SG QA team performed regression testing and we moved to the next test iteration.

What was the team composition?

I only spoke with SG QA Lead, but I was made aware there were also 1 QA middle and 2 QA on this project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Adding an external QA team helped us to focus on a development stage. We’ve made a big content addon, that brought new mechanics and new campaign. We were sure in the quality and stability of our game and we were not afraid application crush or annoying bugs to spoil player’s gaming experience.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

QA Lead that was assigned to our project was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We connected over Skype once a week and used Discord for all other communication. Overall, I was pleased by the timeliness and effectiveness of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge that SnoopGame had about game testing, UX and UI feedback, game mechanics. SG team helped us to perform testing on different platforms and several machines - old and new one PC builds. Also, we’ve got an opportunity to test our VR features that was really awesome. We have worked with other agencies, but this was a particularly positive experience. I will certainly engage with this QA team for our future projects.

There is always a way to improve your work. But we were satisfied with SnoopGame work on every step of our cooperation. We’ve made a product our players are satisfied with.

What challenge were you trying to address with SnoopGame QA?

We needed help with mobile app QA testing as we don’t have an inhouse QA department.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project was a three-sided contract between SnoopGame QA, us, and one of our clients who we were developing three mobile apps for. The team provided all of the QA support throughout the development for each app.

One of the apps automates business processes and has chatbot and CRM components, while the other two apps connected bots together to improve performance.

Concurrently, we’re developing our own project internally, which automates business processes specifically for restaurants. After our alpha test, we plan to use SnoopGame QA’s team for QA.

There are five people, but they change project to project.

Three years ago, they hired me as a consultant regarding sales, and we had a pleasant experience. Once I got a project where we needed help with QA, we decided to partner with SnoopGame QA.

We’re happy working with SnoopGame QA, and we turn to them for our QA needs.

How did SnoopGame QA perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Slack and GitLab. When we need to have a call with the customer, we use Skype. 

The SnoopGame QA team also has access to our Kanban boards, where we track all issues or task progress.

All of the documentation they provide through Google Sheets is clear and accessible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SnoopGame QA is very easy to work with. When we first began conversations about the project, they gave us a short estimate of how long it would take, and we went forward from there. 

Also, they offer a lot of devices to test on, from Android 6 and up and iOS devices starting from 9. We appreciated having our choice of what devices we wanted to test the applications on. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. We’ve had a pleasant experience working with SnoopGame QA. They gave us a lot of advice on what should be done from the UI/UX perspective and technical parts.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try them out. Give them a short task and see how they do if you’re worried about the quality or processes. If you don’t have a tracking system like Jira, they can set it up themselves.
