We needed an on-site team in Pakistan who could help us implement and design our IT network.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SN SKIES PRIVATE LIMITED provided managed IT services to us, which included setting up 30–35 servers and network equipment — all the network and hardware parts for the project were taken care of by them. In addition, their team helped us build a cloud and then deploy our product. SN SKIES PRIVATE LIMITED was our partner, and we submitted the hardware and design part of the project to them, and then they purchased all of the hardware based on the requirements and specs we needed.

We worked with 7–10 technicians from their team.

We chose them because they had experience in data centers and hardware.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $130,000–$160,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January 2021-February 2022, but we have a support contract for the next three years.

I'm the CTO of a customized product development and software development company with main expertise in telecom-grade projects and business intelligence.

We were working on a project with one of the major telecom operator in asia region. The project was for business intelligence and we hired SN SKIES to help in the design and implementation of our project hardware and network as our scope covers the software part only.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We evaluated some vendors and SN SKIES seemed fit for this project due to their expertise in carrier and telecom grade projects.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Customer (Telecom Operator) required a business intelligence tool and they awarded this project to our company after various discussions. The main purpose of this tool was to provide intelligence to marketing and sales team in terms of network traffic usage that included traffic of Mobile subscriber and ISPs. On the basis of our tool, customer is able to analyze the traffic trends and develop mobile packages based on the info provided.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Total team consisted of 7 members. Our main POC was the project manager and then we had logistic and technical implementation team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Customer has been using our services for almost an year now and it has resulted in revenue generation for them due to intelligence provided.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had everything in track for the project and the project was completed within the agreed timeline. Slack was being used for regular coordination along with task based boards.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Technical expertise and dedicated team assignment.
