I am the CEO of a leading Tissue Paper manufacturing company providing world-class tissue papers across 5 countries globally.

We were having a hard time maintaining the traffic and generating conversions from clicks for our website. Our competitors in the market were already putting a lot of effort into SEO campaigns. Thus our website had to be optimized to fit the search engine results. We discovered that a lot of factors come into play like keywords, off-page SEO, on-page SEO, and analytics. So we decided outsourcing the activities was the best option and chose SmartSEO Web for the job.

Our only requirement was to excel in the SEO of the website. So we needed a company that showed expertise in boosting the presence of our website. We created a list of top SEO providers in France and there we came across the Smart SEO Web. They had brought in measurable results for several businesses in our niche - so it made sense to choose them over others.

The activities began with audit of the website and whether the blogs are presented with industry relevant keywords. The team alongside revamping the website created a plan to add new blogs and modify the meta descriptions. The web pages were also redesigned to optimize the loading time. This increased the chances of visitors spending more time on the landing page. Creating SEO campaigns and audits of all the activities took place regularly.

The entire project was headed and supervised by the project leader. Apart from that we had a lead SEO expert and the head of content writing department working on the project. The urgent queries went through the project leader only.

Our aim was to boost the traffic which increased by 30% including both paid and organic activities. The search campaign is generating quick results, improving the CTR by 15%. This is the result of optimized keywords that impressions appear on to the relevant audiences.

The increase in traffic and boost in the speed of navigation has also increased the conversion rate by 7 percent. Overall there is a good impact on the revenue and the ROI from SEO activities is also growing each day.

We conducted meetings once every 2 weeks through Skype call and discussed the strategies and activities. The communication was headed by the project leader where he laid down the agenda and then the SEO expert took over to explain the activities. The tracking of the organic activities and campaign progress was done simultaneously over a spreadsheet. After the first few calls the analytics also became the agenda of the meeting.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The entire team was very cooperative and always had their thinking hats on when it came to resolving any queries or fixing any errors. They maintained a single channel of communication when it came to addressing concerns. This avoided us to fall into any confusion and fast-tracked the progress of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I really do not have any suggestions. Our website is performing way better than it had started off.

First, SmartWeb Group analyzed our websites and gave us tips on optimization, which we implemented ourselves with their guidance. Over the course of a year, we’ve gone through that process 2–3 times. They’ve also advised us on keywords to manage and taught us how to understand and improve our rankings ourselves. Finally, they’ve created content specifically for our target keywords. They created backlinks and reported on them as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can’t tell how much of our success is due to SmartWeb Group, but after the technical tweaks they made to our website, we improved our domain trust score from a 12 to a 42. We were on par with our direct competitors and now we’re three times as good as they are regarding being found online with the keywords we target. Additionally, our traffic has doubled since starting with them.

Our main aim was to find a successful vendor, and SmartWeb has been successful so far.

They’re always available. We use Google Docs to exchange documents and presentations. SmartWeb has also taught me how to use my own ranking systems, allowing me to improve on my own.

SmartWeb Group adapts their advice to match my company’s capabilities. They never make me feel unintelligent. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

While purchasing backlinks on their own would be less costly than SmartWeb Group’s services, I receive a comprehensive package from them. Their add-ons are very valuable.

Clearly define what you want, but also be open to SmartWeb’s team improving your brief. Don’t expect them to do everything, either. Have your teams collaborate on defining the needs of your project. Rather than fixing your website technically, they’ll advise you about how to manage the site yourself.

The main success was to introduce a new brand in electric scooters. We started from scratched. We succed to attract many phone call and visitor (walk-in). Also, we looked to better position with our existing brands.
