Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the founder and CEO of a professional financial advisory business. I’m also a coach and specialist in business transformation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SmartaStudio?

As the mastermind of my own program, I've written a three-part book, a success journal, with an online system of its own. Along with a financial advisory business, and a business network, I also have a range of coffee and health products. I hired SmartaStudio to produce a website that could be the hope to move all of my businesses forward.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I already had a website, but SmartaStudio built a new one from scratch and has been providing SEO services for it since. Their team also created professional digital brochures for my businesses, which I could easily print for physical copies. 

What is the team composition?

I am mainly working with the owner, who’s a very good friend.

How did you come to work with SmartaStudio?

I met SmartaStudio through a business networking event. I liked their values and the way they worked, so I hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent between £1,000–£2,000 (approximately $1,400–$3,000 USD). They are doing a charity website for me, but I’ll probably be spending more money with them as it goes along.

What is the status of this engagement?

I first met them in October 2020 and started working with them shortly after. The partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

People who have visited the website say that the functionality is a lot better and that it's easier to navigate through the Pathfinder journal. I have created a lot of links to the website and as a consequence, separate URLs have been set up. Users can now go straight to the relevant page on the website thanks to SmartaStudio’s help.

How did SmartaStudio perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is very good. They deliver what they say they're going to, when they say they're going to do it. They also always bring me up to date with what's going on in the project. We communicate through Microsoft Teams and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SmartaStudio is forward-thinking. They always find a solution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing I can think of at this stage.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It's a very sensible option to work with SmartaStudio. I've been with other companies and website designers and they were not as good. SmartaStudio, on the other hand, is happy to have an open relationship.
