Create PPC campaigns, create landing pages, and minor website fixes with rudoi law, full web development with MMLA. Goal was to create campaigns that would get maximum click with minimal spending.

I talked with Daniel for many hours and he impressed me with his skill and knowledge. Smart rabbit is the 9th company I have used and by far the best.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Best company I have ever worked with. My price per click and click through rate are at levels other companies told me where not possible. Advertising cost is less than 5% of revenue generated and they always answer my calls as well as are responsive to emails.

I am a phone guy, they always answer my calls or text me back; extremely quick when things need fixing at accomplishes my requested task.

They reached numbers other large companies told me where not possible.

We contacted Daniel And his company to create a new website design and a solution that will better serve our parish. Our website was outdated and was not user-friendly. The two of them created a great design, that met our needs as well as gave us the ability to work side-by-side with them to create the website we really wanted.

We were lucky that we knew Daniel through our parish, we had worked with other people in the past but we were committed to working with him and his partner to create a fresh new look for our church website.

We wanted a website that would be user-friendly that our support team at church who are volunteers can use freely and without reservation. We wanted to make it user-friendly as our parish is bilingual and we wanted all ages to have no issues using it.

We also wanted to proudly demonstrate the beauty t our church Through the wonderful pictures that were taken and they were captured perfectly on our website.

I loved their professionalism and how well they both work together as well as our team who was of different generations and backgrounds and they made it very easy for us to support them with their needs as we develop this beautiful website

They were extremely professional and worked in a timely manner. I give them both Credit for their patience and willingness to wait on content from us. They did a few training and on boarding calls with us That gave us the confidence to be able to do this on our own

I truly feel that they listen to what our needs were and over delivered on excellence making our church look very good.

Wiard's Orchards and Wiard's Night Terrors are family agritainment & 5 haunted attractions contained within the same property. We have been in business since 1837 and operate from September through October. I am the director of Night Terrors and the digital content creator for both businesses.

For what projects/services did your company hire Smart Rabbit?

We hired Smart Rabbit to redesign both homepages as they were dated and needed to be more in line with the level of quality that our competition's sites had.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I sought out local companies to work with as our last work-for-hire encounter was with someone out of state and that caused issues. Smart Rabbit had the quality and price point that we were looking for and also were extremely friendly/responsive which could not be said for their competition.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After initially communicating the general overview of what we were looking to do we received a breakdown of the areas of improvement that Smart Rabbit saw as issues with our existing site.

From there we had a series of tele-meetings to hash out design ideas, determine what content needed to change or be improved upon and also to convey to Smart Rabbit how our business ran and what our goals were for the site. Smart Rabbit was very clear in their communication as to the assets that they would need on their side as well as follow up questions that they had regarding the site. The initial test iteration of the site was excellent and we further honed it with them from there.

Once the sites went live they made further tweaks as we discovered changes that would be more helpful to the end user based on feedback. Once the project was completed we were given an overview of how to maintain the site and swap out assets/change content within the framework they had provided.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I personally worked directly with Colter as the lead for their design team. His attention to detail and ability to hear what was being conveyed was extremely crucial to the success of this project. Often times designers tune out half of what you say and kick out a half-baked project or make egregious errors.

My father would with Daniel on the Google Ads campaign and was very happy with his communication regarding the campaign. We ran into issues with the campaign but only do to the lack of accessibility given to us by the third-party ticketing page.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We immediately noticed that the new format of the page was more user friendly as we had fewer customer calls with questions regarding the business. The information was already on the previous iteration of the site but the layout and interface was less user friendly prior to the redesign.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project went very smoothly. We had a small team on our end offering up ideas and thoughts and Colter was able to process the requests well and also give input if he thought that a change might be detrimental. The deadlines were met and the experience was quite positive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Smart Rabbit was not only responsive to what we were requesting but they also did research on our market and competitors to let us know what changes they thought that we needed to make and also explained why. Instead of being dismissive of when we disagreed on a certain change they were receptive as to why we thought that a certain component might need to stay the same. It was a team effort without any friction or obstacles.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The whole of the project was very much seamless and I couldn't think of anything that I would change. We're hiring them to redesign our corporate events website this year based on the quality and customer response to the other redesigns.

Our organization is Team Fox Detroit, a grassroots arm of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. We raise money for Parkinson’s research and support other fundraisers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Smart Rabbit?

Our old website was just one of those DIY websites, and we needed someone to create a new one with more functionality.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Smart Rabbit designed and developed a brand new WordPress website for us. The most important feature they built is a section that contains a portal for us to run fundraisers. The team has also been able to link our social media accounts to the website, and they’ve also been helping us drive more traffic to our website, which they continue to run.

What is the team composition?

I work with Daniel (Founder & Managing Partner) and Colter (Co-Founder & UX Designer).

How did you come to work with Smart Rabbit?

They’re friends of the organization. The team started helping us out a few years ago by giving us advice, so we’ve known them for a while. When they founded Smart Rabbit, we decided to start working with them professionally.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2016, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We measure the project’s success based on how many people we drive into the fundraising platform. Since Smart Rabbit took over, we’ve received twice the amount we usually got. Thanks to their efforts, we don’t have to rely on our lead foundation, and we can have our own fundraisers. Throughout our engagement, we’ve earned over $1 million with their help, so it’s been highly successful. We’re the smallest team in our foundation, but we’ve reached our goals faster than anyone. We’ve also gotten a lot of site traffic, which is fantastic. The quality of their work is impressive. Smart Rabbit helped us tremendously.

How did Smart Rabbit perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done well on project management. We’re a different kind of team because we’re all volunteers — most of our internal team is only available in the evenings, and the work has to be remote. However, Smart Rabbit is willing to accommodate our schedules and to communicate using email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attention to detail is excellent. The team is personable and very easy to work with, and they do everything they can to help. They go above and beyond to make sure that everyone on our team is happy. We’re a nonprofit, and they’re mindful of that — Smart Rabbit’s always there for us when we need them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think they could do anything differently.
