I'm the business development specialist at a family owned wholesale business. We sell electrical equipment to other businesses.

For what projects/services did your company hire Appricot Software Agency , and what were your goals?

We hired Appricot to create us an e-commerce website that works fully integrated with our ERP software. Our goal was to create a new source of revenue.

Our ad agency recommended Appricot to us.

We had several meetings between our company team, our ERP developer and Appricot. Our ERP developer had to write an API so that the website could access its functions and database.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We only worked with Yiğit initially and later with his brother Efe. Lately they hired a new developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The e-commerce website created a new source of revenue for our company. It roughly makes 10% of our annual income, though its main contribution is that it acts as an online catalogue for our company.

Because our teams were small we didn't use any project management tool. We mostly relied on whatsapp do deliver our requests to Appricot.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have been communicative throughout the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They had a small team in the beginning and couldn't answer our requests in time. Though lately they made new hires, much faster now.

I am Co-Founder and VP of Technology at Turnify. Turnify is an app that helps Airbnb owners to manage their cleaners.

For what projects/services did your company hire Appricot Software Agency, and what were your goals?

We had to create all the jobs manually for each property and cleaner we operate. Appricot Software agency helped us to gather all the jobs via iCals and APIs through large Property Management Softwares. They implemented an auto scheduling system so each cleaner is assigned to a job automatically without a human touch. They created us the mobile applications (IOS and Android) so the cleaners can use during their jobs to make sure every single checkpoint is covered and photo proofed.

Their extensive portfolio showed us that they are able to develop custom softwares no matter how complicated the scenerios are.

We have divided the project into 4 versions. They were able to deliver each version on time by over achieving our expectations.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to increase our efficiency when it comes to assign cleaners into a job. This was done manually and required 3 hr/day to schedule the cleaners and follow them up during the day. We were able to increase our customer satisfaction rates as they are able to track the status of their cleanings as well as seeing the photos taken by the cleaners. We were able to reach a larger audience as our app is quite revolutionary for the industry we're in. Many people registered with our system just for using this app with their own cleaners.

We communicated through Trello and Slack. They were incredibly responsive to any request we had both during and after the project. They were fast to fix the minor bugs we've noticed after we've gone live. Even we have 8 hours of time difference as they are located in Turkey, they were able to serve us like an in-house development team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way they understand the scope of the project and our business's requirements was impressive. They came up with some additional features and functions which benefited our business a lot.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything so far is simply great and we're satisfied with each aspect of the jobs they're doing for us.
