I needed a property tax management software built for my company. My biggest pain point was invoicing, which was completely manual. I also needed a solution that could track values, house documents, manage client data, link to QuickBooks Online (QBO), and automate the day-to-day functions that were manual.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We spoke with Sketch Development almost every day, so we saw the progress in real-time. The invoicing process used to take roughly 20–25 minutes per account, and now we can get an invoice done in less than five minutes. The automation is incredible. We used to enter everything manually when adding properties and had to calculate tax rates by hand. Now, everything is imported on the backend. The solution can also track rolling deadlines and upload year-specific information. We can stop living in Excel now.

I'm the principal of DROP Collaborative, an engineering consulting company. We help communities and industries align wastewater treatment needs by updating and customizing pretreatment program implementation which we also pair with software.

Elizabeth was involved with all aspects of the setup and integration, as well as random loose ends we found while we worked on the project. We have a decisive way to manage projects now. After less than two months of using the software, it has streamlined our invoicing process and helped us better track projects and corresponding deliverables. For example, our time to create invoices after only one month was reduced by 25%, and we expect to see further benefits. Moreover, our team communicates more efficiently, and we're more aware of our project deliverables and resources to complete those tasks.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app Sketch developed for us reduced the time required to layout a project and generate a quote from hours to minutes in many cases.  The app has increased our quote accuracy by eliminating chances of missing any necessary parts.  Before the app was fully completed, I was able to quote a $1.5M project in 30 minutes that would have taken me 2-3 days with our previous tools.  I have recently generated a record 136 quotes in a single day.  Using previous methods, 5-8 quotes consumed an entire work day.

Commitments were always met on time or ahead of schedule.  The communication was excellent and the team was fast to respond during the development and continues to be very fast and responsive since the project was completed.
