Our goals for this project was to put together a 1-2 minute informative video about our services.

The video had much more views on our youtube and Instagram than other videos we worked on in the past. The results were great.

My goal for this project was to bring my idea to life. I had drafted the blueprint of the ad and Simply Explainer brought it to life.

I found Simply Explainer through Upwork, a platform for professional freelance work. In total, there were about 20 bids on the job posted. Simply Explainer had the highest bid and relevance based on their portfolio. I then hired them and was satisfied, nonetheless.

The scope of work was to first illustrate my blueprint or drawing, then add some motion graphics, and finally, turn it into a short video. This took some time but was very well worth it in the end.

Absolutely. There were times that I had to ask Simply Explainer on their professional opinion on designs and styles. They advised me well and showed me examples.

Communications went very well. I explained my needs in detail, and Simply Explainer transpired the feedbacks to fruition.

Simply Explainer is definitely of a higher class design company. Their quality of work is far beyond others. We would use them every time for my future needs.

We have yet to use the video as it's intended.

They were able to get tasks accomplished in a timely and professional manner.

I had hoped to there would be more options from which to choose of the female voiceovers. Our selections were limited and I would have chosen a different voice over if I had been provided with more choices.

Each video is 20-60 seconds long, and we started by giving some of our graphics and copy, which they took into outlines, storyboards, animation, and voiceover, then combined into rich exciting videos for our users!

We would iterate almost daily while they were working, communicating clearly over Upwork chat and sending deliverables back and forth. They were open to commentary and suggestion on their documents and in conversation.

We have had a high degree of engagement with users watching the videos and it has added an air of professionalism and maturity to our relatively young site.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Sal was easy to work with and kept everything going fast and smooth, usually I was the one behind on my promises! He works best with simple, direct, clear statements and preferences, leaving room for the team to work their magic.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They animated our still images on our site from scratch, they added sophisticated tonally-matching wipes, whirls, and cuts that made the project feel rich and sophisticated. The first steps were nice but the final product was a step beyond our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There were a few moments in the beginning where we were trying to feel out each others' wavelengths and way of doing business but it went extremely smoothly.

Once i done with selection, they assigned a dedicated account manager, they provided and questioner, which i filled with all of my need, then they provided us storyboard within week, which we approved after some little changes, and later they provided first visuals, which i make asked for some additional changes from product pitching point of view. and then approved and handover us source file.

After using that explainer video, we got 25% raised in term new students, 50% raised in engagement in social channels. and we smoothly manage our on boarding funnel with this video.
