• Strengthen cybersecurity and keep pace with the compliance obligations insurance firms face in New York, including NY DFS Part 500 requirements, plus annual cyber insurance applications and assessments.
• Migrate email, servers, and workstations from Google Workspace and on premise servers to Microsoft 365 without disrupting daily operations.
• Build out the network for a new NY office and connect it securely back to the main location.

For almost 14 years Simple Tech has managed every aspect of our computer, cybersecurity, and IT needs.  As an insurance agency, dealing with technical issues is the last thing we want to focus on.  In Simple Tech we have found an IT company that cares about the success of our business and supporting us so we can support our own clients.  Their customer service is top-notch!

Support requests typically get a first response in under 15 minutes.  When we've had an emergency, Simple Tech staff have been highly responsive to our needs.

Majority of support requests are resolved in under 3 hours.

Simple Tech staff have always responded to our needs quickly.  They respond fast and communicate effectively.

Andrew is the owner of  Simple Tech Innovations and the first person we met from his company. He clearly understands the business environment and feels very strongly that his role is to support the IT needs of our company efficiently and at a fair price.  He has been an amazing IT advisor helping our company to take all necessary steps to protect our business and our clients data.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Simple Tech Innovations could have done differently?

Simple Tech staff have made many advancements in their systems since we took them on 14 years ago.  They work hard to stay ahead of the curve throughout the numerous changes happening in the IT industry.  Throughout all their changes, their customer support has never wavered.

I’m the head of school at Lima Christian School. We offer a Christ-centered private PreK-12 education in Lima, New York

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Simple Tech Innovations to accomplish for Lima Christian School?

We had struggled for years to hire a new IT specialist. When I came on board, we looked for another six months for a candidate to allow our longstanding IT technician to retire. When that search failed, we chose to pivot to Simple Tech Innovations.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Simple Tech Innovations provides regular IT help desk support to our staff, including resolving hardware issues, managing user access, our wireless network, printer issues, and server access. Additionally, they’ve rebuilt our internal IT network, including scoping out the work, proposing a solution, refining it based on our limited budget, and implementing the actual tear-out and installation over one of our school breaks. The team has worked on switches, some wiring/cabling, and consolidating equipment into server rack cabinets.

What is the team composition?

We don’t know how many teammates from Simple Tech Innovations are assigned to our project. There were 2-3 primary contacts, but I expect we benefited from the expertise of the larger team.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Simple Tech Innovations has provided a wealth of expertise, a friendly pricing model for our small operation, and responsiveness that’s essential for technical issues that would otherwise inhibit our daily instruction. Simultaneously, they scoped out a long-overdue rebuild of our internal network, which showed signs of age and frequently dropped connectivity. Since completing the overhaul, our network downtime has become virtually nonexistent, whereas it was daily (often multiple times a day) previously. This means that we have seen fewer interruptions to instruction and student work.

How did Simple Tech Innovations perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time and are quite flexible. Simple Tech Innovations is sensitive to our need to schedule work during off-hours and also rolls with several unanticipated roadblocks to our project. The team is courteous, understanding, and patient. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Simple Tech Innovations has delivered a high-quality solution for our small school that we otherwise would not have been capable of achieving. This new infrastructure has set us up for long-term success.

Simple Tech Innovations has created a website for me that is easy to navigate and user-friendly on both the client's end and my end so I can make my own edits as needed. Simple Tech Innovations also put cybersecurity measures into place for my business and manages all of my IT needs. This is key for me as I handle sensitive photography, and knowing I can provide that additional piece of mind to my clients is one thing that sets me apart in the industry.Simple Tech Innovations handles my ongoing website maintenance, helps ensure all of my software and programs work seamlessly on my laptop, and integrates all cybersecurity measures on the backend so I can focus on my business while they protect it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My website is on the first page of Google, and I have a high visit rate. Most of my leads come from the website Simple Tech Innovations has created. Their quarterly check-ins about my cybersecurity show how many threats they’ve detected, investigated, and blocked. These numbers alone prove the quality of their work and that their cybersecurity is protecting my business daily. Every quarter, they block hundreds of minor threats, and they’ve taken care of several bigger threats with no personal or business data ever being breached. I’ve had zero incidents that have breached sensitive data, as no incident has ever escalated to that level with their security measures in place.

How did Simple Tech Innovations perform from a project management standpoint?

Simple Tech Innovations’ project management is top-notch, with deliveries always on time. They answer any questions quickly and address any issues right away. They also reach out before something becomes an issue so that they prevent me from having any downtime. We communicate through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Simple Tech Innovations isn’t my typical “computer company.” Their values show through the work of every employee and are heavily rooted in their company culture. All the team members I’ve worked with genuinely seem to love working there and are excited to help tackle my problems. I never feel dumb asking IT questions, and all their explanations are in terminology a non-IT person can easily understand.Moreover, their knowledge of their industry far surpasses that of other companies. I can tell everyone who works there is passionate about the work, understands its importance, and is always ahead of the trends.
