BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of Center Stage Clothiers LLC, a year-round, theatrical costume rental shop.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Silver Keys Media?

I needed professional head shots and also themed promo photos for my website and store promotions.

What were your goals for this project?

To come away with headshots I could be proud of that would capture my style and brand, and also some beautiful, themed, costume shots that would be used in our business promotions and on our website.

How did you select Silver Keys Media?

I have seen Amanda's work on line and also have come to know her in my networking circles and events as very professional and easy to work with.

Describe the project in detail.

For my headshots, I chose three different looks and we shot outside at different locations to get the best background and natural lighting.

For the themed photos, my husband and I chose a Civil War theme and did the shoot, in full costume, at the historic Fort Vancouver, to capture a vintage, historical look so that we appeared to be from that period. We shot at sunset which allowed a beautiful backdrop.

What was the team composition?

It was just Amanda, my husband and I at the shoots.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have received nothing but rave reviews from friends and colleagues who have seen our photos on social media and our website.

We have begun a 'Headshots' service at my costume shop, collaborating with Amanda, and have had several clients come take advantage of this service.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Amanda and I work very well together! We have done several photo shoots and other projects since my initial headshots experience.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Very professional. Amanda makes you feel at ease and gives great direction for those of us that are NOT professional models! :-D

Are there any areas for improvement?

Amanda has a lot of quality equipment she uses for her photo shoots and seems very knowledgeable with the use of everything she has.

This is in no way a criticism, but she could use an assistant to haul all that equipment around - especially for on-location shoots.

It's almost too much for one person, although she has made it work on every project we have collaborated on! This is more of a suggestion to help ease her burden... :-)
