As a non-banking financial company (NBFC), we wanted to improve operational efficiency, expand our banking and finance services, and increase customer satisfaction by giving them more convenience. We hired Silicon IT Hub to achieve these objectives by developing a robust and secure mobile app. 

Despite our strong market presence, we faced challenges in process automation, reaching more people, and streamlining basic banking operations. Despite having a large backend, we could not serve more people due to a lack of a user-friendly and dedicated mobile app. This app has the following key features to achieve comprehensive and digital management- 

• Quick Pay: It facilitates payments through QR code and ensure secure online transaction. This feature updates transaction details in the customer’s account history. 
• Request Money: It enables customers to request money from their contacts and giving them the amount asked. It assists users to send requests to multiple users. 
• Pay Bill/Merchant: This feature intends to view utility bills and make transactions. Customers can add biller or merchant information and choose the payment methods for transactions. 
• Account Management: It assists users to view and manage wallet and bank accounts. Customers can manage existing accounts and create saving goals. 
• Deposit: Users can deposit funds into their accounts easily using this feature. Both individuals and merchants can use this feature smoothly. 
• Notifications: It displays notifications in various categories to keep customers updated for various financial activities.

A robust and secure app has enabled our customers to get our banking and financial services using their fingertips. Moreover, we can offer 24x7 services through an app and expand our reach with better customer support and engaging experience. Other measurable outcomes that show progress are-

• We have witnessed a steady increase in the number of new customers and customer retention after having an app
• We could save time and effort of our executives and customers in various financial activities
• We could integrate our system in a better way into the app to get rid of paperwork and manual processes with more efficiency

We have daily stand-up calls with the whole team, and discuss tasks and queries on everyday basis. It is a very open communication with all the resources. Our main mode of communication is Skype for voice calls, screens sharing or messages.

We had begun with a formal meeting to talk about our needs from all the non-technical as well as technical aspects. Silicon IT Hub splits the requirements into different small tasks with a specified timeline to conclude all the tasks. We organize meetings each week as well as discuss day to day updates. The project was started from a wireframe which I was not expecting, then design, development and live. They had an agile process and as a startup, I had several changes in the workflow which they delivered. The application is built using Laravel as the backend and React Native for mobile apps.

SiliconIT deserves an Outstanding Review !!! I (and my team) worked with SiliconIT for creating the Android/iOS version of the app "KBS 2019". Right from the first interaction we had with SiliconIT to all way till the work completion, everything was superb.

For the most part of our 4 months of interaction with SiliconIT, Mr. Jaymin Gajjar was our SPOC (Single point of contact). It started with a formal meeting to discuss our requirement from a non-technical and technical standpoint. SiliconIT broke down the entire requirements into small task called milestones with a stipulated timeline for completion of each task. Full Agile !! We had regular meetings every week as well as daily updates as needed throughout.

On Costing front, SiliconIT had been flexible, supportive and accommodative to our requirement as we were developing the App for a non-profit purpose. We did have our share of glitches here and there but nothing major as such.
