I am the owner of EatSmart. The company provides home made and restaurant meals on the EatSmart platform that can be picked at a specific time. Starving people can search for food from their area through this app, order it online, pay cashless within the EatSmart-Tool, and pick it up at a Cook's address.

We needed help with custom mobile application development along with intuitive UI design. We had the basic concept and flow but nothing documented. We want to brainstorm our ideas to improve quality, consistency, and productivity. Our key objective was to create a platform that simplifies the work of restaurants and people who are looking for food online.

We reached out to about 10 companies. Then we got in touch with Silicon IT Hub. The company had the best proposal. Their plan was specific enough to understand all the aspects of the project compared to other companies that just sent a two-line email with the cost. The company showed that they had acknowledged the idea thoroughly which I was trying to convert into a real-life mobile app. That was the reason I opted for the Silicon IT Hub.

Silicon IT Hub developed our custom mobile application. We had five-six sprints and a two-three week-long development period.

During the first week, they worked almost round the clock as they wanted to determine our product’s key features and functionalities. We interacted through Skype and shared screens to better comprehend certain feature requirements. We broke down the steps that we were using, and we detailed how we expect the app to execute. We offer them a test and a live environment every two weeks to make the changes there, and we tested their work.

Once we agree on a decision, they perform improvement tasks in the production environment. We would then receive feedback from our users and pass that to Silicon IT Hub. They would apply modification based on that if needed. The application is built using PHP 5.4, MySQL 5.7, Yii2 Framework, and Android support up to Android 8.

We work with about 12 members of their team. It includes:

As we are only a startup, we do not have any real metrics to share yet. However, we can definitely say that it was a very seamless experience. From the initial communication with Silicon IT Hub to all the work, everything was excellent.

The constant communication from the project manager was great. They also had great time management skills. They were performing based on schedule during the whole project.

Additionally, all the professionals that worked on the project had their own areas of expertise. They always keep striving to deliver the best of their skills. We communicated through various channels like Zoom, Phone calls, Skype, and the What’s app. Mostly, we interact through virtual meetings on Microsoft Teams or another same kind of platform.

Work delivered by Silicon IT Hub was always according to a stipulated time frame. They deliver what they promise. They are also flexible and have been willing to take our vision and execute it. Everyone we've worked with is on the same page, making it very easy to work effectively and efficiently with them.

As a company, they are performing well in all aspects and through every stage of software development. My team and I are happy with the services they put forward.
