BetkoPro is a sports betting technology company building analytics infrastructure for the betting market. We operate as a small, focused team and work with two distinct audiences: individual bettors who want serious statistical tooling rather than guesswork, and bookmakers and betting platforms that need calculation infrastructure they can embed in their own products. I'm the founder and run product direction for the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire SIGMAJUNCTION DOO to accomplish?

• We needed a production-grade MCP server so our calculation tools could be called natively by AI assistants rather than only through a web interface. The goal was to make Betkotip usable as infrastructure — something a bettor could query conversationally through Claude, and something a platform could wire into its own AI layer without building anything from scratch.
• We wanted a scalable B2B REST API with proper authentication, rate limiting, and white-label support. The objective was to let bookmakers send us their odds and receive structured statistics back, which they could then present under their own brand — turning our calculators into a revenue stream rather than just a consumer product.
• We had no structured outbound process for reaching bookmakers and betting platforms. The goal was to build a repeatable enterprise sales pipeline on Apollo.io — segmentation, lead enrichment, and automated sequences — so we could stop relying on inbound and start systematically approaching the B2B market.

We brought SigmaJunction in to build BetkoPro's technical foundation from the ground up and to set up the commercial side of the business around it. On the engineering side, they architected and delivered our MCP server with 33 calculation tools spanning six categories — match predictions across 20+ sports, odds leveling and margin removal, ticket value and hedging, betting system profitability, staking progressions, and match statistics projection. They built the accompanying B2B REST API with authentication, API key management, rate limiting, and white-label support so bookmakers can send us their odds and receive structured statistics back under their own branding. They also ran a full evaluation pass on the tool suite through Claude integration testing, which surfaced calculation edge cases we hadn't caught internally, and they shipped fixes for all of them before launch. Documentation, API client SDKs, and partner integration guides were part of the delivery. Beyond development, they built our entire outbound infrastructure on Apollo.io — customer segmentation, lead enrichment workflows, CRM configuration, and automated sales sequences targeting bookmakers and betting platforms. We went from having no structured outbound process to a repeatable pipeline we now run ourselves. RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The engagement was structured around three milestones with fixed delivery dates. All three were hit on schedule, which was the outcome that mattered most to us — we were planning launch and partner conversations around those dates. Milestone 1 — MCP platform. Delivered the full tool suite: 33 calculators across 6 categories, covering match predictions for 20+ sports. Claude integration testing surfaced calculation edge cases we hadn't caught internally; all were fixed before the milestone closed rather than after launch. Milestone 2 — B2B REST API. Shipped with authentication, API key management, rate limiting, and white-label support. The delivered SDKs and integration guides meant our first bookmaker integration went live without SigmaJunction needing to be in the loop for it — that was the real proof the API was production-ready. Milestone 3 — GTM infrastructure. Apollo.io stack live with segmentation, enrichment, and automated outbound sequences. We went from no structured outbound process at all to a pipeline we now operate independently, without ongoing support.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was one of the stronger parts of the engagement. We started with an initial discovery phase that ran three working days, and by the end of it everything was settled — scope, priorities, and open questions. What came out of that was full project documentation with a delivery plan and timeline, which we reviewed and sent back with revision requests. Those revisions were incorporated without pushback, and the plan we approved is the plan we got. Everything was tracked in YouTrack, so we had visibility into where each item stood at any point rather than having to ask for status updates. Deliverables landed on the dates in the timeline. Where they were particularly good was handling changes that came up mid-project from our side. We had business requirements shift after the plan was locked, and rather than treating those as out of scope, they worked them in and adjusted where it made sense. That flexibility mattered more to us than sticking rigidly to the original spec. Handover was clean. We received complete documentation covering the platform, the API, and the GTM setup, which is why we've been able to run all of it independently since the engagement ended.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They didn't stay in their lane as a technical vendor, and that's the part we didn't expect. Most agencies we spoke to wanted a spec and a scope, and everything outside of it was someone else's problem. SigmaJunction went the other way — they got into the actual business. They built out a cost calculation for us, worked through how we should approach the market, and gave us direction on which segments to prioritize and why. Some of that advice changed decisions we'd already made. It meant the technical work was built around where the business was actually going, not just around the requirements document we handed them at the start. When the two diverged mid-project, they flagged it rather than quietly building what we'd asked for. They behaved like partners with a stake in the outcome rather than a supplier working through a scope. For an early-stage company, that's worth considerably more than pure execution capacity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SIGMAJUNCTION DOO could have done differently?

Communication ran entirely through the Microsoft ecosystem, and Teams isn't a tool our side enjoys working in. Offering an alternative channel would have made the collaboration smoother for us.
