I’m the marketing & media manager at a personal emergency response firm. Our company has made a new twist on the call for help buttons by integrating a security system into Alexa devices and other home speaker systems. I primarily oversee our marketing projects to make sure everything is done efficiently.

What challenge were you trying to address with Siesta Marketing Group?

We began in homecare and wanted to expand into the consumer market. We decided to build a consumer website with Siesta Marketing Group.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our intent was to emulate a website we saw online, making it appropriate for our business. Our boss wanted us to mirror the site as closely as possible. We wanted a WordPress site with a shopping cart integration. They chose the theme and other general design elements while still emulating the other website.

What is the team composition?

My main contact was Vincent (CEO & Founder).

How did you come to work with Siesta Marketing Group?

When I was managing a fundraiser, I thought my attendees would be interested in web design. I researched a few companies in the area to see if anybody specialized in healthcare and medical sites.

I didn’t really find anyone locally, but I had the opportunity to reach out to Vincent. He was friendly, but we never ended up putting that together. He remained supportive of the organization.

When I had the opportunity to look for a company for this project, I remembered his name. I called and checked with agencies in the area to find out availability, pricing, and capabilities. Siesta Marketing Group was chosen based on a study of the competitors in the area.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent just over $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Siesta Marketing Group from February–May 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t set expectations besides emulating the other website. We didn’t set anything for conversions or SEO or site speed.

How did Siesta Marketing Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very communicative. For meetings, they’re prompt and organized. They’re also readily available and meet deadlines. With our company, deadlines are sometimes “right now.” Siesta Marketing Group was able to deliver right away. If they were figuring things out, it might take a couple of weeks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very knowledgeable and friendly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know if they have a depth of resources available. Considering the price, that would be expected.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you need someone to build a beautiful and functional WordPress site, Siesta Marketing Group does an excellent job. I had a great experience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Siesta Marketing Group completes different blasts with Facebook and Instagram for our wedding events, holidays, upcoming menus, and band performances. We gave them ideas, and then they would create the content. Their team developed our website, updating the platform with pictures and targeting different groups.

We work with the owner and another team member.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With our improved social media, we’ve been able to reach a considerable amount of people. Any time there’s marketing geared towards weddings, I can see the number of people that have viewed and shared. We typically end up booking a wedding every time there’s a blast or if we received a lot of inquiries.

How did Siesta Marketing Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Siesta Marketing Group delivered everything on time or ahead of schedule. The quality and clarity have been perfect. When there’s a new project, there are no issues in getting in touch with them or communicating. It’s been seamless. Initially, we met in person, but now everything is done via phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Siesta Marketing Group accomplishes everything we ask for with a fresh perspective. They always deliver different ideas.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no complaints. It’s only been positive.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

At the beginning of an engagement, it’s helpful to meet in-person so that everyone gets a feel for what everyone is looking for. I’d recommend them to anybody because it’s been easy and seamless.
