The scope of work included conducting a comprehensive technical audit of the existing PHP/React codebase to assess its overall condition and identify critical issues that had been left by the previous development company.
Shinetech also carried out a detailed business analysis to understand our operational requirements, identify gaps in the existing application, and ensure the platform would align with the way the business actually needs to operate.
Based on both the technical audit and business analysis, they evaluated whether it would be more beneficial to refactor the existing application or rebuild it from scratch. They presented a clear recommendation, together with the reasoning behind it, so we could move forward with confidence.
Following this, they developed a detailed project roadmap outlining the proposed approach, key milestones, project timelines, and potential risks to provide a clear path for delivery.
Once the roadmap was agreed, they commenced ongoing development, implementing feature improvements and enhancements in line with the agreed plan while continuing to refine the application as the project progressed.
