It was easy set up. We discussed our accounting needs and came up with a plan that fit our budget and needs.

How many resources from the SFBay Financial team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I work primarily with our day-to-day bookkeeper, but other staff is readily available to answer more complex questions and resolve issues. Sarah is our primary contact and is the best accountant/bookkeeper I have ever worked with.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the engagement or general feedback about the services?

Just in the last two years they helped us as a small business navigate the very confusing process for the PPP loans and the Payroll Tax Credit. This saved our business.

Everything is very easy. I have regular phone and/or email communications. If the answer is not readily available, there is quick follow-up with a solution.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have been very impressed by the Staff. Sarah was assigned to our company a few years ago and has been outstanding. Easy to work with, solution approach, and efficient. They have done everything I need at a price that work for my small business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything has been very smooth.

What challenge were you trying to address with SFBay Financial?

They were hired to provide accounting services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide both bookkeeping and tax preparation. They also help with any tasks related to accounting. For instance, when I was looking for a CPA that would handle a Canadian foreign business owner that owns a US company, which is a special kind of tax, they advised me on how to get somebody that specializes in different tax circumstances that aren’t as common.

What is the team composition?

We work with an accountant and one other person.

How did you come to work with SFBay Financial?

When I bought the company, they were already the accounting service the company used.

What is the status of this engagement?

I began working with them in January 2019, but they were already with the company when I started. The relationship is currently ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re happy with their services and haven’t had any tax problems. Nothing bad happens, so that means they’re doing a good job.

How did SFBay Financial perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great. Whenever there is a problem, they always let me know well in advance and keep me informed on important things.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like how their firm is managed. They give a lot of great support. It's so awesome working with SFBay Financial.
