SEO Team Toronto has been handling the search visibility and local SEO for our real estate team over the past year. They started by looking at our website and figuring out where we were falling short. We weren't ranking for anything useful, and our Google Business Profile was basically just sitting there. They optimized all of our area pages, so each neighbourhood and city we serve has proper content tied to it. They cleaned up the technical side of the site, things like page speed, mobile experience, and how Google crawls the pages. On the local side, they worked on our Google Business Profile, made sure our information was consistent across directories, and helped us build citations in the right places. We also get content written regularly that targets the kind of searches home buyers and sellers in the GTA are actually making.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest change is that people are finding us online now. Before working with SEO Team Toronto, almost all of our business came through personal connections and referrals. That still happens, but now we also get calls and messages from people who Googled things like "real estate agent North York" or "homes for sale Richmond Hill" and landed on our site. Our Google Business Profile is way more active too, more views, more direction requests, and we've gotten new reviews from clients who found us through search. The website traffic has gone up consistently over the past year.

Very easy to deal with. Real estate is unpredictable, my schedule changes constantly, and they've always been flexible with that. If I need to move a call or ask a quick question over email, I get a response the same day. The monthly reports are helpful because they break things down in a way I can actually follow. I'm not an SEO expert, so I need it explained simply, and they do that without being condescending about it. They also come to us with ideas, like when they suggested we create pages for specific neighbourhoods we work in. That ended up being one of the best things we did. It feels like they're paying attention to our business, not just running a cookie-cutter SEO service.

The impact was very clear: shifting from relying almost entirely on referrals to consistently getting inbound leads from Google, along with strong improvements in Google Business Profile activity and website traffic. It showed that their work wasn’t just technical, it translated directly into real business growth. Another impressive part was how they communicated everything. SEO can get complicated, but they broke it down in a way that was easy to understand while still being strategic. It felt like working with a team that’s genuinely invested in the outcome, not just delivering a service.

In the beginning I didn't fully understand how long SEO takes to kick in. I think they could do a better job setting that expectation right at the start, especially for someone in real estate where you want leads coming in yesterday. Once I understood the timeline, I was fine with it, and the results speak for themselves now. Other than that, no real complaints.

They started by going through our whole website and pointing out everything that was holding us back from a technical standpoint. Things we had no idea were even issues. From there they put together a strategy that was specific to real estate, not some generic SEO playbook. Every month they handled on-page and off-page work, wrote content for our blog and landing pages, and managed local SEO for the different project locations we had going on. 
The main things we got out of it were a solid keyword plan, landing pages built for each development, and a link-building push that got us placed on some well-known Toronto and real estate sites.

They turned it around in a few days without us having to push. They also brought ideas to us regularly, which we appreciated. It wasn't a situation where we had to drive every conversation.

SEO Team Toronto looked at our website and told us pretty quickly what was holding us back. A lot of it was stuff we never would have caught on our own, like how our pages were set up, missing keywords, slow load times, things like that. They fixed the technical issues, rewrote a bunch of our service pages so they'd actually rank for what people search for, and helped us get our Google Business Profile in better shape. They also ran some ad campaigns alongside the SEO work to get things moving faster while the organic side built up. We got monthly updates showing what they did and how things were trending.
