They were good at selling us that they were experts at this and it didn't cost much. We looked at a couple other vendors to compare offering and price.

We provided them answers to their questionnaire to help them build the content on our website. There was back and forth designing the website. We would make comments and they would make changes/updates.

We worked with 2 people. One focused on the website development and another on the GMB.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The communication frequency was ok. They provided prompt responses at first but then after the second month, they would take a fair amount of time to get back with us. We started noticing that change requests to fix spelling errors weren't happening. We also asked them to update the content to be less redundant. This never happened despite our repeated requests. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. We've asked for our money back because the website is awful and embarrassing but now we don't get any responses from the company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

At first it was good, but now we don't get any response.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They sell themselves well but don't deliver on their promises.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could have done their job correctly or backed up their guarantee. They could have someone fix spelling errors. They could complete jobs they agreed to do.

The challenge we’d faced with providers was having to hire many of them for 1–2 things each. For example, if I needed something technical about the website, our SEO or marketing providers couldn’t do it, or the prices were very high. We needed a company who could offer many services in one place.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SEO Pro Hub has provided us with web development and hosting, SEO, PPC, and social media marketing. Initially, they were only helping us with SEO. The team asked me to fill out a survey with information about the company, the product, and SEO goals to help us create strategies.

Then, the scope expanded to web development. We had a website hosted somewhere else, and I engaged SEO Pro Hub to develop a new website and moved the hosting with them. Currently, they help us update the site when we have sales or promotions. 

The team still helps us with SEO. They write blog content and set up external links; they work with other websites, write about our company, and link back to our website. 

Additionally, SEO Pro Hub provides us with PPC and social media marketing services. They set up PPC ads and handle marketing in our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

My direct contact is a project manager who then partners with specialists from SEO Pro Hub as needed depending on the work we’re doing, whether social media marketing, PPC, or SEO. In total, we’ve worked with about 4–5 people.

I found them online. We chose SEO Pro Hub because they had the whole package of services I needed in a manageable and affordable way.

So far, we’ve spent between $10,000–$15,000.

We started working together in March 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In terms of metrics, we mainly look at traffic, and in terms of our bottom line, at sales. SEO Pro Hub has done a good job helping us improve both — they’re very efficient.

How did SEO Pro Hubperform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very organized in terms of project management. Our collaboration software is Basecamp, where it’s easy to keep track of the work that we’re doing. We also use email, and I have a direct line to the project manager; I can call him or text him directly. 

Progress was slow when we started in 2019 because we were moving the site and had a little difficulty communicating with our first project manager. However, now that we’ve gotten to know each other better, we work well as a team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What distinguishes SEO Pro Hub from other providers is that they handle everything related to my website, so I have to do less work in-house. I just tell them what I need, and they put everything together for us, from marketing to shopping carts to product pages.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The biggest challenge we’ve faced with SEO Pro Hub has been communication in the beginning. However, they’ve improved internally in all different aspects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear on your goals as a client and take it one project at a time. Only move to the next step once you’ve completed the first step so you can see tangible results, especially at the beginning. 

If you try to do too much at first, it creates high expectations for you and from them. They’ll be trying to please you, but they won’t know you as well yet, which could generate communication issues and some frustrations. To sum it all up: start slow, get to know SEO Pro Hub, and be very clear with your goals.

Since SEO is something that you need to commit time to, at this point it is too early, we do seem to be moving up for some of the keywords we are going after and that would not have been possible without SEO Prohub.

They communicated of a regular basis 3-6 times a week sometimes. They were very good at keeping in touch and got back to us right away always.

I think it was the amount of attention they gave our "Little" job, they treated like a large paying job.

I think the main thing is to really try and focus on your keywords and phrases, because they will be critical down the road. And also if you can give them a really in-depth view into your business, because the better they understand you the better they can help you.

I had worked with a competitor and gotten burned by poor service, however I did connect with someone in this group through that expereince and I am very happy with the work and service provided here. I had been doing SEO with this group for almost a year, and they were consitently delivering high quality SEO work and results.

They also have very high standards of customer service, honesty, reliability, effectiveness, and responsiveness. My project manager is committed to carefully manage my account and to my success. In October of 2021 we agreed to add the social media aspect to promote my brand, product and message. They have grown tremendously in the time I have been working with them.

They are handling all the social media, ads, guest posts, and SEO and doing a great job with it. They are also making very professional promo videos. SEO website and Amazon traffic and sales continues to improve.

The project manager oversees the project and is very responsive and helpful. There is also a social media and graphic designer team, a video team, SEO experts. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly how they acheive the results they do - this is not my field, but I am grateful that they have the people and resources to handle it.

Organic lead website traffic and sales have increased substantially, keyword rankings have increased, and social media followers and interactions are up.

I get monthly reports, and regular contact regarding their strategy and plans. I am also able to access and connect with them whenever I feel the need.

Their honesty, efforts, and commitment to my needs and project are impressive.

They have improved already dramatically in the areas where I was not fully satisfied.

We found them in a google search, evaluated the reviews, and had an initial call after which they sent us a proposal. They provided a strong commitment for getting the results we wanted and were a low risk in terms of cost, so we decided to move forward with them.

They helped fine tune our keyword selection and initiated actions immediately to improve our search results. We were ranking on page 1 for several keywords within 3 months. We then expanded the scope to migrate out website and take more aggressive actions to address performance tracking and additional keyword performance.

I was able to coordinate all activities with one project manager at SEOPro (Roman), and he was very responsive and effective in making progress and addressing feedback.

SEOProHub have improved our SEO performance significantly in just the first three months. They have the relevant expertise to efficiently complete tasks that have high impact on SEO performance, and Roman is a good communicator and has been very responsive to all questions and requests. Very good value for the cost.

They had a little difficulty at first understanding who the audience is and the tone we wanted for our website, but they got dialed in quickly after having some clarifying conversations and feedback.

Fake reviews led to me choose this company. I should have been hinted as everyone's name is fake. Toledo, Washington, Austin, York, Francisco, What a joke.

I waited 2 and a half years on them promising to deliver my website. Only to find now that they never started but collected over $5000 from me.

There have not been any deliverables for the past 2 and a half years. The only deliverable I got yesterday was to inform me they have no intention to return my money said the fellow "Austin T."

Toledo seems to be an expert by sending deliverables by using templates which when reading through does not even involve the scope of work for my site build. They apparently send fake deliverables to keep the chase going so they can continue to collect monies.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are professionally conducting a fraudulent business and stealing money from business owners.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They need to be investigated and the authorities need to be involved.

I am the owner of CNC Conversions Plus. After retirement I needed something to occupy my time. I started converting a milling machine for myself. I found that the sellers of these kits are pretty unreliable so I made my own. Someone wanted one, then another and here we are.

As mentioned above, they reached out to me. Not sure what the deciding factor as I did not talk to another group. I like them from the start.

Complete redesign of my website. The trick is the SEO for sure and they worked with me to develop it. I'm completely satisfied.

I wanted to be on the first page when someone searched for my product. I am there, and sometimes the first one!

Awesome communication and a lot of patience waiting on me to respond. Basecamp is a big plus but I get a lot of emails as well. Most importantly, the phone calls with the personal touch are the best. I feel almost like Annie and I are related! She always asked how I am doing. She is a great employee!

I would have to say the constant communication. That would be followed by the response time which is awesome. I like phone calls!

What challenge were you trying to address with SEO Pro Hub?

They had a very good offer that captured everything I was asking for, and the price was reasonable.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They were supposed to deliver an eight-page website in a timeframe of about 3–4 weeks, as well as work on its SEO and integrate different feeds. We’re now three months into the project, which is way beyond the 3–4 weeks. They’ve made 70–80% of the design in PDF form. The project isn’t close to being realized.

What is the team dynamic?

I worked with a salesperson and a senior project manager from their team.

How did you come to work with SEO Pro Hub?

I searched on LinkedIn and was contacted by one of their salespeople. They were in a contest with a couple of other companies and I chose them based on their professional offer. I also checked some comments about them online and found two negative and a couple of dozen very positive ones.

How much have you invested with them?

The contract value was €3,300 ($3,900 USD), and I made a 50% upfront payment.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in May 2020, and I pulled the plug this past Friday in August 2020.

Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.

They didn’t provide time milestones from the beginning. They said that I’d be the bottleneck but my turnaround time, in the beginning, was 24 hours or less. They promised short-term timelines and deliverables that they never met, and their communication was way below standard.

My feedback was hardly ever implemented to the full extent. I gave very detailed feedback on their design proposal, and I actually provided drawings. They made 40–50% of the changes and then never went through quality checks to determine how well my feedback was implemented. I had to push them three or four times on the same points.

I realized after a while that they wouldn’t deliver, and I’ve since checked online and found tons of very negative comments, including some calling the company a scam. That led to end our relationship. They gave me tons of excuses and apologies. Last week, they told me they’d deliver a final result in 48 hours, but it’s been 96 hours and they still haven’t delivered anything. They were supposed to call me today at two o’clock for a review, but they haven’t called.

I lost three months of business because of this engagement. I’m going to look for an alternative and start over again.

How was project management handled?

“Difficult” is a positive term in this context. They make appointments and do not call, they confirm that they’ve done quality management, but I’ll look it up and find that they’ve done nothing and there are still points missing. If they’re not able to communicate what they’ve done over email, and match that with either the requirements or my feedback, then I call that very bad communication.

Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?

They designed a great logo, but that doesn’t help me if I don’t have a web page up and running.

In what specific areas can they improve?

I think they can improve in all areas. After reading all the other comments, I could also come to believe that this company might be a scam. They call people and do some light designs but they’re not implementing anything. It’s way beyond imagination. This isn’t my first project developing a website and I’ve never experienced this before.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

You should stay away from this company. There are other people providing the same comment.

How did you select this vendor?

Reading through reviews across a number of sites, phone calls learning about their tactics, business approach, services offered, and reselling services.

Describe the initial project in detail.

After looking for a reseller style agreement with an SEO group, I turned to SEO Pro Hub. The pitch sounded good, the initial contact was good, but the overall activity within the first month of the agreement was non-existent. In fact, they didn't do anything. I received a PowerPoint with some keywords and that was about the extent of the activity. They even claimed, "half of the on-page optimization was done" when they never even logged into the site. That was false; they never provided the work that was promised.

What was the team composition?

We had one point of contact at SEOProHub, Aaron (Senior Project Manager, SEO Pro Hub), until we canceled. Then senior management got involved. After we followed up with SEO Pro Hub to check on progress about 2/3's into the first month, everything started to unravel.

How did the project go awry?

The services were not provided. Then to make matters even worse, when I confronted my rep, Aaron, to state that I was displeased with the activity after four weeks and canceling service, he tried to say that it was my fault. There was no outcome. SEOProHub did not take any actions outside of providing an initial PowerPoint with a few keywords. No execution was taken on their part after a month of any of the deliverables which were part of the reseller plan agreed upon.

I left a review on TrustPilot which was then responded by threats from Adam stating, “You also run a company, right? How easy would it be for me to drop a negative review on you right now? Let’s keep it professional.” After that, more senior folks at SEOProHub reached out to me via phone (no more email trails) stating that if I take down my initial review, they’d refund me the money for the services that were never performed. I thought, well this is even fishier than ever, but I agreed, took down the initial review and guess what? I never received a refund.

After a couple of follow up attempts, they stated that it would be done next week, the 1st of the month, etc. So here’s the review for all to see. Not just what I posted the first time, but a more comprehensive look at how SEOProHub is a fraud and prey on businesses that are not SEO savvy enough to challenge them when they say that work is being done. They also use bullying tactics to take down or remove negative reviews.

Do not turn to SEOProHub for any Search Engine Optimization help. They’re not a legitimate SEO company.

Other than the initial PowerPoint, there was nothing they did well.

What occurred in the workflow between your team and theirs?

Other than a couple of phone calls initially, the rest was via email. Since SEOProHub did not perform any work, there wasn't really a workflow.

Are there any areas for improvement?

SEOProHub needs to execute the work agreed upon which your client is paying for, and also stop the bullying tactics with threating to post a negative review in exchange for removing a negative review of SEOProHub.

Then, through a series of back-and-forth discussions we compiled a list of the most productive keywords and phrases to target with SEO strategies. The team continues to maintain those campaigns, as well as answer any questions that come up on our end.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve just started with SEO Pro Hub, so we haven’t seen any results yet. Transitioning our website management over to their team slowed our process a bit. With that said, their work so far is promising. We just implemented additional Google marketing efforts, and we expect to see positive results soon.

How did SEO Pro Hub perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent. The team is consistently on top of their work and always available to address my questions and concerns. They’re customer service is impeccable, listening carefully to our feedback and willingly making any requested changes. We communicate primarily via emails and phone calls, and they also provide monthly progress reports.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I most appreciate their customer service, detailed approach, and dedicated work ethic.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They promised a few things in our initial agreement that I’ve yet to see, like publishing two Facebook ads a week. Also, we’d liked to have seen results sooner in the engagement.

Any advice for potential customers?

Overall, I recommend businesses consider partnering with SEO Pro Hub. We haven’t had any issues so far. I’ll have more advice once I see the results of their work.
