Repka.ua online supermarket was founded in 2009. The main direction is the sale of consumer electronics via the Internet. I used to be the co-founder and director of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sense Production?

Over the years since the company's founding, our site has been obsolete. There was no mobile version, and there was no critical functionality that our customers needed. In addition, our range has reached 120,000 SKU (we have added new categories). Therefore, we wanted to develop a user-friendly directory for easy browsing.

The adaptive design was also important. Thus, we tried to get a modern online-store site that would be convenient for our customers and would allow us to achieve our market goals.

How did you select Sense Production?

The following criteria were essential for us - quality, professionalism, punctuality, price, the comfort of communications, and focus on the result of the contractor's team. Before the start of the project, we held a tender between potential participants. The SensePro team won for the number of points.

We were interested in doing this project together with the SensePro team. Guys from their team understand the e-commerce market and customers' needs. First of all, we talked about the goals our company wants to achieve, our strengths and weaknesses. The SensePro team then studied the current situation (GoogleAnalytics reports, customer feedback, competitors, etc.).

Then SensePro presented its vision of the project. After a few adjustments, the SensePro team started working, and in a week or two, we received the first prototypes. A couple of months later, we moved on to the design phase, which was interesting because the SensePro team had many exciting ideas and wanted to implement them all instantly. So I had to choose the best.

My team worked directly with their UX/UI designers and the project manager. Sometimes I had meetings with SensePro CEO Alexander.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have achieved all the project's goals. It was performed on time and almost on budget. We received a modern online store site with an adaptive version, multilingualism, a user-friendly catalog, etc. Also, during the A / B testing period, the conversion of the new version of the site was 12% higher than the previous one.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager Iryna was easy to communicate with and provided us with regular updates. We had both in-person meetings and phone calls. As a result, we received ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Perhaps the most important thing is, They wanted to achieve success on every project and did their best in the partnership. As a result, SensePro's approach helps customers cooperate comfortably and effectively with their team and achieve desirable goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Perhaps the SensePro team is worth improving (more explained) on their commercial offer. At the beginning of the project, we wasted some time choosing what services we could get and what we needed.

We have been working on the design of the new site for about 3 months. we gradually drew the pages of the site, starting with the layout. It was quite difficult but very effective.

The workflow was quite efficient. Learned a lot from the guys. After this project, we gave the guys another project of identity and brand hero.

We were impressed with their attitude towards the work and the simplicity of their workers.

Maybe you should reconsider prices. And in general, everything is fine.

The project began in the beginning of 2020. We had several preparatory meetings with the Sense Production team with the aim of finding the optimal concept for our new site. After that, Sense Production began sending us prototypes of the new design. Truth be told, we rejected most of them. Still, Sense Production was patient and persistent; through ongoing communication and collaborative efforts, we developed an approach which I believe has satisfied our business requirements as well as their sense of modern design.

The project went significantly over schedule to complete, in large part due to the new COVID restrictions. However, by spring we had successfully launched the beta version of our new website. The final version was launched in autumn of 2020.

Our website was outdated and missing some valuable functions that help to improve e-commerce sales. Also, we were looking for a fresh new design that could be attractive and user-friendly.

We found Sense Pro online and they had been chosen from 3 shortlisted vendors. Deciding factors were a good understanding of e-commerce with well-done estimated projects similar to ours. Moreover, the attitude and extreme inclusion from start via presentation term were really charming.

First, the Sense Pro team conducted SWOT and LEAN analyses, which helped them better understand how the business is running. After that, a series of kick-off meetings were held, in which objectives and expectations were considered. Then the layout of the design was formed, after approval of which, the team began to develop the backend part. In the process, we discussed the details of the project closely and made changes if necessary.

As a result, we got a well-done e-com website with a cool design, a functional admin panel, the possibility of acquiring payments, and convenient navigation with visualization of the product that customers liked in the interior. Plus, we agreed with Sense Pro about SEO optimization support after the launch. Technologies being used: PHP, Laravel framework, Magento CMS, 1C integration, Figma.

A project manager was our point of contact throughout the process, There were also a few backend developers whom we contact in the integration part and a designer working behind the scenes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Customers loved the updated design and sales numbers were increased. The product pages are easier to navigate, and users can pay by credit card.

We had daily and weekly meet-ups with their project manager who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any delays they let us know ahead of time, so that we could prepare. We used Telegram for communications.

They have great expertise in building profitable e-com projects. Their team was patient and kind to teach the best ways how to run our new e-commerce website and they were always in touch with us and responsive to our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had a wonderful time working together. Still, during the project, there were some misunderstandings throughout the way that was solved quickly and haven't caused any huge problems as a result. We appreciated the Sense Pro team very much for this job!
