We're a UK based digital agency with teams in the UK, Philippines and Ukraine.

For what projects/services did your company hire SemperTeam, and what were your goals?

For this project, we didn't have the in-house skills to deliver a complete custom social media and content delivery platform, so we needed to partner with another team.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our team developed the design, user-experience, and established the requirements for the application's functionality. Once completed, we started looking for third-party to build it. It was at this point we met Semperteam. Vitalii and his team were confident in their ability to deliver the project as specified, and their pricing fit within our budget also.

From day one, the developers at SemperTeam got to work building the application, and the communication has been excellent. Instead of coming up against problems with the original design, Semperteam have identified potential issues with the logic and always given a multitude of options to overcome them. This has been the key to the project's success, as they have always sought ingenious ways to achieve the requirements, even when they go beyond the capability of some of the software we are using.

From Vitalii's account management, Vlad's development skills, through to QA and serverside optimisation, Semperteam have done an exceptional job of delivering an application that now exceeds our original plans.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our aim was to have an MVO ready within 4-5 months, which we achieved, and have since gone on to complete the total project, which is now ready for market.

The team has always been incredibly easygoing and, despite several design changes en route, have always worked to achieve our goals, no matter how much the y have changed along the way.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Semperteam are a relatively small agency, however the breadth of knowledge and technical capability means that you are dealing directly with the people who know how to solve whatever problems you may come up against. This is critical in any development project, as using third-party software from several sources will inevitably present challenges that nobody foresaw. The value of a good development partner is in how they react and the solutions they put forward to overcome these issues. This is where Semperteam excel.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Its a been a learning process for both companies, however much of that was down to our inexperience with certain software, and Semperteam have been patient and accommodating at every point. We couldn't recommend them highly enough, and we plan to work with the team for a long time to come.

Implement functionality of creating deal rooms, boards and task cards. Provide authorization, invite and attach members, track activity. Add possibility to mark progress, attach documents, track tasks in calendar and setup deadlines. Tech stack: Angular, JavaScript, Firebase

Team: 1 fullstack developer, 1 frontend developer and 1 QA.

Everything with pretty good, small bugs always happen, but it is a minor thing

I'm the founder of gojam, and also own a digital marketing agency in the UK, specialising in high-competition social and search engine marketing services for large brands.

We wanted to develop a mobile app to cater for parents that enables them to create and share family activities aimed at encouraging childrens' love for nature.There's clearly a demand for the service, however parents presently use standard social media platforms to share such information, which has many restrictions on the amount of information that can be shared, and limits the way it is presented.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I created the idea and built a prototype using adobe XD, which outlined the user-journey and core functionality of the app we wanted to created. We decided to work with Semper as they were able to deliver much of the custom functionality that needed to be created from scratch.

Communication has been fantastic throughout the project and, despite hitting quite a few technical stumbling blocks, the team at Semper have been able to help find workable solutions to overcome them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project has gone beyond the initial timeline, however that has largely been due to changes and overcoming technical obstructions that emerged as the build went on. We are now in the final phase of development and due to launch in the coming days.

Vitalii has been brilliant throughout - instead of relying on us to find a solution to an issue, they've been very proactive in overcoming each obstacle.

Their ability to be flexible and meet technical unforeseen technical challenges that have arisen along the way.
