BC Accounting Services is an accounting, tax and payroll company in Durban, South Africa. We cater for small to medium size companies and Individuals. I am the owner and managing director

For what projects/services did your company hire Select Web?

I originally designed and updated my website early in 2015 and it was going okay. Once I was established as a company, I sought professional help to make it "better" and more effective. There was a redesign and then ongoing hosting and SEO services

How did you select Select Web and what were the deciding factors?

I attend a networking meeting weekly and they were a member there too. This was step one but also I researched them and listened to the great testimonials they were receiving

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

It was simple for them. A redesign of my then current website. They then started the SEO process and have done that ever since. Every month they do work on this in conjunction with me adding content to the site which they also help with. I a m a tax specialist not a writer!

How many resources from the Select Web team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I work with Greg (SEO and content manager) but also with Penny (Admin side) and Eric who is the designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

When they took over, i was not anywhere near the first page of Google. After working with Select web, i now rank very high up on Google, Sometimes only behind the South African Revenue Services Website for tax. (AMAZING) The errors on the page have decreased to almost none. Leads from the site have resulted in business on a monthly basis.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Easy and effective. any delays were probably on my side :) Example: I write or update an article on my website. I then send the link to Greg and leave it up to him. He confirms he has received it. I

N the monthly reports meeting we have, he confirms that he sorted everything out for those posts. The results speak for their professionalism and expertise in the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The monthly reporting and the updates received. An intense report is sent but then discussed in a meeting held monthly. We discuss what I can do and what they can do. The results are generally visible in the next report sent

We need to build an online platform so that we could take our studio worldwide

How did you select Select Web and what were the deciding factors?

We had worked with Select Web before on our Manifest Yoga Website.

This was a big undertaking. The site is subscription based allowing users access to a series of videos ranging from meditation to high Intensity. Video content will be continuously upload as the site grows.
