Buisklem operates in the European market and is based in the Netherlands, with a clear ambition to strengthen its position in Germany. We supply products for the fencing industry, which is a relatively niche market with a wide and technical product range.

The project required a very specific approach. For many years, there had been little to no structured marketing activity, so a strong foundation first had to be built. On top of that, our business model is B2B only, which means prices are not publicly visible and customers can only place orders after their account has been approved. This creates a very different online journey compared with a standard e-commerce website.

The scope of work therefore covered much more than SEO alone. It included strategic support, SEO and SEA guidance, link building, website improvement recommendations, content direction and ongoing analysis. A large part of the work was focused on groundwork: improving the website structure, identifying technical and content opportunities, strengthening visibility in search, and helping us create a clearer route towards qualified traffic and account requests.

Because of the niche market, the complexity of the product range and the B2B portal structure of the website, this was not a simple project. It required patience, practical thinking and a partner who understood that growth would only come through a combination of strong foundations, consistent optimisation and the right long-term decisions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We went from only a handful of account requests to more than 30, which is a strong improvement for a B2B business like Buisklem, where customers can only place orders after their account has been approved. That makes the increase even more relevant, as it is not a standard webshop with direct purchases.

We have also seen an increase in more relevant traffic coming to the website. For us, that matters more than traffic volume alone. Because of the niche market, the technical product range and the B2B setup of the platform, the focus has always been on attracting the right visitors rather than simply growing numbers for the sake of it.

What I also value is the way Seeders approaches the work. It does not feel random or overly generic. The process starts with an analysis, followed by a roadmap and clear communication on what will be done and why. I know the team members by name, I know who is working on what, and that gives confidence throughout the project.

Another strong point is that the thinking does not stop with one website or one business unit. As I manage six business units, it is valuable to work with a partner that can also think beyond Buisklem alone and contribute ideas across the wider portfolio when needed.

Project management has been strong throughout. Deliverables are handled on time, both for larger strategic projects and for smaller adjustments that need to be implemented in between. That consistency matters, especially in a marketing environment where progress often depends on many moving parts being aligned properly.

The communication is also very solid. There is regular contact on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, especially within the three-month cycle, which helps to keep priorities clear and make sure the overall direction still matches the wider goals of the business. That ongoing contact also makes it easier to adjust where needed, rather than simply following a fixed plan without looking at results.

What works well for me is that the cooperation feels practical and well organised. There is room for strategy, analysis and discussion, but also enough flexibility to respond when smaller changes or new opportunities come up. That balance between planning and execution is important in digital marketing, especially when you are working across SEO, SEA, website optimisation and lead generation.

What I find most impressive is that Seeders doesn't feel like a standard agency with layers of junior staff and generic updates. You work with senior people, you get to know the team, and over time you also know who is good at what. That makes a big difference in the cooperation, because it feels much more personal and much more involved.

Another strong point is that they have local specialists in different countries. For a company like Buisklem, where we are active in the European market and also want to grow further in Germany, that is genuinely valuable. You do not just get one general opinion, but people who understand the language, the local market and the differences in search behaviour or approach.

What stands out is that they do not work in a very rigid way. It is not just a matter of ticking off a checklist and saying: we have done this, this and this, so the work is finished. They keep thinking with you, they re-evaluate, and they look at what makes sense within the company itself. That is important, because not every business is the same and not every website or market needs the same approach.
