My company is a marketplace app that connects customers to local or remote IT technicians. I hold the position of CEO managing the day-to-day operations of the company.

Our previous website was put together by the founding team so it was not to the level of professionalism it needed to be. We hired SBJ Digital to redesign our website and implement their design into a finished product.

Our goals were to not only improve the look and feel of our website but to also help develop our brand by developing improved color palettes as well as UI that better communicated what we do and our values.

We selected SBJ Digital based off of a referral from a trusted friend that used their services before for website design.

They were very impressed with SBJ Digital's quality and customer service so they happily referred them to us for our website needs.

The job was to redesign and implement our website.

• Deliverable 1 - design for each website page for feedback and improvements
• Deliverable 2 - implemented design under our domain Technologies - Wordpress, Elementor, Figma, Cpanel

2 developers worked with me, both the main developers for the project and would switch on and off in availability to make sure there was always somebody there if I had questions or concerns.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Although it is too early to draw any marketing metrics from our new website I can confidently say it is much more professional than our previous website.

I am confident it will perform well in marketing initiatives and impress visitors.

Project management was fairly straight forward, once I delivered the requirements to begin the project they would give me a reasonable time frame to expect the first deliverable.

For communication we communicated over WhatsApp and they were available most of the time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When they delivered the implemented project, although website content was not part of their responsibilities, I noticed that they went beyond the requirements and put in pictures and placeholder text that looked good and made sense. Took hours off of my plate to get the pages ready for production!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall impressed with the quality of work and project management so far. No pressing feedback as of now.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They handled everything having to do with our WordPress platform, the scope of work, UI/UX design, our developers, APIs, and product. Their team made sure that everything matched. They also worked on our website and apps, both iOS and Android.

The project lasted from October 2018–January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SBJ Digital Private Limited did a great job all across the board. I’m extremely happy with them. They did a phenomenal job. I constantly felt and knew that they were by my side.

How did SBJ Digital Private Limited perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication skills are fantastic. Every time we called them, they were quick to respond and act. What’s more, the turnaround times were excellent. If anything needed to be changed or revisited, they took care of it within 24 hours, sometimes even 12 hours.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with their communication skills. They called and emailed me asking if I needed anything. Their customer service is top-notch. They went above and beyond the call of duty.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them a chance. Despite being a small startup, they can do the same amount of work at the same quality as many other well-known companies. SBJ Digital Private Limited is a diamond in the rough. They won’t let you down.

I'm the owner of a stock photo website which licenses images to book and magazine editors worldwide.

Website was developed by lowest bidder using Wordpress but was almost unmaintainable. Plus thousands of pages and images needed to be updated in order to meet Google's new requirements for marking images as licensable.

They were the most responsive by far to our initial RFQ and even provided valuable answers before the vendor selection was complete.

• Fix PHP errors that were cropping up in Wordpress
• Fixed search return page not returning thumbnails for all images.
• Helped to embed IPTC copyright ownership info into each of thousands of images.
• Speeded up website, turned off debug mode, cleaned up database.

5. Don't know their titles but they worked long and hard in what was a very tedious process.

All success criteria were met.

We insisted on email because of the time difference. Management style was we meet daily to monitor progress; we both agree on next steps, a timeline and a budget for that step before starting that step. This way there were no surprises (or if there was a surprise it could be dealt with quickly).

Their responsiveness and their insights into the platform really impressed us. They knew their stuff.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Things could have been a tad bit easier if they kept the same hours as we do in California. :-)

Web Development is so important to us because everybody today, in this day and age, is using their phone. And for me, I need to optimize every single opportunity that I have and I've seen results so I am going to continue to do it.

First the custom calculator had to be built from scratch, plug ins were built and then implementing a capability where the results could be exported as a template or emailed to the customer.
