This video received a 5-star review from one of our top clients who was thrilled with the work completed on this project. They've completed work for 24 of our clients, never failing to impress.

They get to the core of the project at the beginning to make sure everyone's expectations will be met. They talk about the foundation of the story, the sense of the project, as well as the technical details around scheduling, services, and equipment from the get go. This leaves everyone feeling confident and comfortable with the work they then set out to do.

They showed a wonderful insight into what makes a story special and how to communicate their angle with artistry.

We hired Sanchez Media to direct interviews of executives from all over the globe for a large financial institution. We trusted Sanchez media with the responsibilities of all equipment (lighting, grip, camera, sound). Sanchez Media also made themselves available for client meetings for pre-production.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Sanchez media had an excellent portfolio of work, great referrals from trusted colleagues in the industry, as well as an excellent demeanor on the phone and zoom.

We had pre-production calls with executives from over seas together to ensure that all our "looks, shots, equipment, output of media" fit the needs of the client. We locked in the creative direction and planned for a 2 day shoot. On those two days we conducted over 20 interviews some of which went for over 30 minutes. We had multiple setups as well as B-roll. At wrap out we delivered all files to the client for them to edit themselves, although I would trust that Sanchez Media could have provided editing as well if we would have needed. The client was happy with the production days.

Alan Sanchez was our main point of contact. We received positive feedback from everyone involved that he was a pleasure to work and delivered great work as well.

The client got what they needed to finish their project and match what they had shot from other parts of the world.

This wasn't a complicated project so most planning and communication was over phone calls and texts which was preferred on our end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed by the ease in workflow. Not everything has to be overly complicated. Sanchez Media had all the tools we needed equipment-wise, and they used them expertly. It was as stress free as it gets.

I’m a senior video producer at Jackson Family Wines, a large wine company.

What challenge were you trying to address with SANCHEZ MEDIA LLC?

We were working on rebranding videos for one of our wine brands. Our team wanted to come up with visual solutions that could tell our broader story to a larger audience. To help us achieve that, we hired SANCHEZ MEDIA. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, Alan (Director of Photography & Creative Producer) arranged the look and feel of the production. He helped us organize the best locations and shots for our campaign. On top of that, he helped us with our audio and lighting, essentially encompassing all of our campaign needs. 

So far, we’ve used him in many other projects. We’ve done several videos, including a series of interviews with different winemakers in Santa Barbara, a region we’re trying to promote. He’s helped us with challenging lighting situations, making sure that everybody looks good. Recently, he’s also worked with us on a social media and advertising campaign for a brand of ours that has been flat in sales. Alan is helping us reinvigorate this brand through an energetic and visually driven campaign. SANCHEZ MEDIA provides all the equipment we need for filming.

We mainly work with Alan, but we also work with two other people on occasion.

SANCHEZ MEDIA was recommended to us by another video production company.

We started working with them around February 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

Our success metrics are on the website and the portfolio of work SANCHEZ MEDIA has done for us. Overall, they’ve produced a lot of videos for us.

SANCHEZ MEDIA’s project management skills are excellent. To communicate, we use telephones and the internet; we also use Zoom.

The quality of their work and their vision are impressive.

We communicate through phone and text messages. Also, they’re always on time, and they have the best equipment for our video shoots.

Alan is very flexible to work with. He brings a good eye and a great attitude to the set, and he delivers good results.

I’ve noticed that when we’re on bigger projects with larger teams, he’s not always the best at managing them. He thrives with the smaller teams.

Be clear on what you want, and he’ll execute it at a high level.

Alan Sanchez of Sanchez Media, LLC worked as a contract videographer for this project. They had timely, thoughtful and produced extraordinary shots for our project. The story recently ran on the PBS NewsHour.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected Alan because he was recommended by a friend of mine.

Alan had to shoot and deliver the footage to me. We filmed in the desert, and I gave him a rough shot list. It was a challenge, as some people did not want to show their faces on camera. However, Alan was quick on his feet, and we produced the perfect shot that hid the foreground (the person's face) and exposed the background.
