I’m the CEO of a digital consulting agency. We work with Fortune 100 companies to help them create their digital assets and accelerate their revenue through digital means.

What challenge were you trying to address with Salt Media?

We needed help with graphic design for our clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a very large, international manufacturing organization that was looking for graphic support and other items, so we partnered with Salt Media to help us with the graphic design required. For this client, they’ve helped us create new brochures, social media graphics, case studies, and additional graphics for presentations.

Some of Salt Media’s designs for social media channels have included YouTube thumbnails and graphics for posting that content on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. As for printed materials, they’ve also helped us design business cards, posters, and product packages.

What is the team composition?

Salt Media’s team varies depending on how many items we need to deliver at once; on average, 3–4 resources are working for us simultaneously. Once, their team scaled up to seven resources. Still, we’ve only needed 1–2 resources other times.

How did you come to work with Salt Media?

I already knew the head of Salt Media from a prior engagement, so I reached out to him again. When our need arose, I already knew who to call.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $15,000–$20,000, although it might be more, considering that we’ve been engaged for almost two years now.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

One of the greatest success indicators is that, after two years, our client keeps coming back for support with graphic design. They’re very happy with the designs that Salt Media Creates. As general feedback, we love working with Salt Media because they do fantastic work. They always think outside the box while still following incredibly strict brand guidelines to create outstanding digital assets.

How did Salt Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Salt Media’s project management is excellent; they always strive to meet deadlines. We always provide them with really tight deadlines, but their team is always very responsive and comes up with different ideas. Overall, their turnaround times are fantastic.

As for budget management, Salt Media is very budget-conscious, so I don’t even ask for estimations. I just assign them the projects, and they work on them and let me know how much it was. I’m always sure that the price will be reasonable and the work will be well-done. We mainly communicate via Skype and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Firstly, Salt Media’s designs are forward-thinking and always stand out. They design assets with great longevity, which means that their designs still look good years after they were done; they stand the test of time.

Secondly, I would like to highlight Salt Media’s ability to turn around assets very quickly and provide different options, which ultimately help us complete projects at a much faster rate than expected.

Thirdly, their prices are very reasonable, which is why we keep coming back to them. Overall, their ability to deliver forward-thinking quality work quickly and at a reasonable price is the perfect trifecta.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing that I would mention is that sometimes, in their quest to create great designs, Salt Media might miss small details we ask for or go beyond what we want them to go. However, those have always been easy fixes; I just tell them what they missed, and they immediately change it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be sure to be very clear about specific design requirements and explain how the graphic asset will be used so that they don’t have to redo their work many times, and you can get quality assets more efficiently.
