We are a female-founded commercial property management company for office, retail, and industrial properties in Northern California. We focus on high-quality service through staff development and have grown 100% via word-of-mouth referrals.

We wanted to hire a global team to support our US staff. This was our first time expanding into the global market, so we needed to make sure that we hired the best.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sagan Passport sourced, screened, and facilitated the hiring of five global contractors. The team worked to fully understand our different job descriptions to determine what culture and experience we were looking for. Sagan Passport adapted their strategy when the initial candidates didn’t align with what we wanted. Moreover, Sagan Passport communicated our interview times to the candidates, provided them with our booking links, sourced candidates, and screened them via an initial call.

Sagan Passport sourced global contractors that have been meeting their role expectations and are a culture fit within the team. Our US team feels way more supported by having the global team. Initially, our US team was hesitant to have global hires, but they’ve opened up and grown close to the global team. They rely on and support one another in their roles.

How did Sagan Passport perform from a project management standpoint?

Sagan Passport worked hard to understand our rubrics and continually improve the quality of the candidates. The team communicated clearly, timely, and concisely, ensuring that candidates were aware of their interview times and offers. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

The value / ROI is high and their business model flips the international / outsourcing recrutiing model on its head. It's brilliant and very aligned.

It seems that there should be a slightly different way to bucket talent from a price per month / salary expectations perspective as I have found a wider spectrum of talent within the same price points but otherwise they have absolutely nailed it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Sagan Passport found an excellent head of finance for us. The metrics are still to be determined as the new hire just started with us, but we're incredibly happy with their performance so far. We're evaluating them based on their ability to execute their 30/60/90-day mandate.
