Our agreement with RQAAM was to help us develop the idea, refine it, and then transform it into a real application. Therefore, first we started discussing the idea with them by analyzing businesses and ideas similar to ours. After that, an agreement was reached with them and a contract was signed that includes the design and programming of the entire application.

The project design was then started, and there were beautiful touches on their part. They formulated our ideas wonderfully and better than we thought, which allowed us to discover new ideas, and they presented an innovative design for the application. After that, the application was programmed and delivered completely without any problems. However, they provided excellent technical support through their good communication with us.

Starting with RQAAM, they began by analyzing our idea and then provided us with a Business Requirement Specification (BRS) encompassing all the descriptions of the features for our project. They also supplied us with a business plan for every step, utilizing agile methodologies.

The project involved developing a mobile app for Android and iOS, along with an admin dashboard.

The main idea of the app is an e-commerce platform for selling branded products in Iraq, using a creative approach to reach new customers, which RQAAM provided.

They delivered the app beyond our expectations, adding the features we requested with the best quality and results.

For example, users can utilize the platform to post their funding needs, like for school payments. On the platform, they can track donations and how much is left until they meet their fundraising goal.

RQAAM made significant improvements to our original project idea and went deep into a business analysis to ensure their deliverables were perfect. And in the end, the deliverables were flawless. Their team is very creative. 

How did RQAAM perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through WhatsApp and Telegram; their team responds within a half hour. When necessary, we have meetings through Zoom or Google Meet to give further directions. 

Every two weeks, they provide us with progress reports highlighting their completed tasks. Their team stays within budget and never requests additional funds when we submit change requests. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

RQAAM works on the project as if they own it — we don’t have to worry about them not delivering quality products. Everything they develop is better than we expect.

Their team needs to improve their marketing because more companies need to hire them — they provide better services than other local companies.

I suggest customers not worry about providing a complete project summary before hiring RQAAM. If customers have a basic idea of what they want, they just need to tell RQAAM — their team will do all the brainstorming and conduct a business audit. They do that all before starting a contract.

Since we’re dealing more with humanitarian studies, we aren’t too engaged with technology and the new systems in management. We needed help setting up a management system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RQAAM has developed CRM software to help us manage our tasks. First, we outlined our plan and gave them guidelines to work with. We also allowed them to meet with our employees, researchers, and freelancers. From there, they did the technical follow-up to help us manage our operation.

Additionally, they’ve designed and developed our website; we requested modern and easily accessible design elements. The team has also created social media accounts for us, and they’re currently in charge of the website maintenance.

We’re very satisfied with RQAAM’s work and their beautiful designs. Our clients are also pleased with the website, which has helped us gain a positive reputation as a research center. Since there aren’t many experienced companies in our market, I didn’t have such high expectations, particularly for on-time delivery. Therefore, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by RQAAM’s success.

They’re always on time with deliveries; we’re very impressed by that. The team is flexible in communication, using Telegram, Google Meet, and Zoom. Overall, they do an exceptional job with project management, especially compared to other service providers in our area.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RQAAM built different websites for us. They developed our formal website where we offer our services and also created the website where students could apply for scholarships using the available online forms. Their team used WordPress and ready-made templates for one site. For the other websites, they used Laravel, JavaScript, and PHP to build everything from scratch.

We have worked on more than one project with RQAAM and have an ongoing maintenance contract with them. They manage and maintain our server and provide us with the source code documentation.

We don’t know how many developers are working on our projects, but they have a dedicated project manager with whom we keep in touch. We’ve also been in contact with their CEO.

The scholarship application websites that RQAAM developed for us has a survey that captures students’ experience with the site. Thus far, there have been a lot of good reviews from the applicants. 

How did RQAAM perform from a project management standpoint?

They send us the timeline after we sign the contract. They work with an agile methodology, and they give us some deliverables at the end of every sprint. It’s good dealing with them because we are not facing any issues. If something needs attention, they fix it directly.

We don’t really use email communication here in the Middle East, so it’s easier to talk through Telegram, WhatsApp, and arranged meetings. We’ve also had had face-to-face meetings with them when they visited our country.

The most impressive thing about RQAAM is the quality of their work and the way they manage the project with us. Everything is always clear. We appreciate that they don’t add to the contract price but commit to the set budget.

Though they bring value and do a good job, they need to improve their marketing.

Aytamuna is one of the initiatives of the Forum for Social Actors and Builders Foundation for Relief and Development. It works to unite the efforts of those engaged in supporting and assisting orphans in various fields and specializations. The project, in its first phase, aims to survey, register, and assess the status of all orphans in three Iraqi provinces: *Nineveh, Anbar, and Salahuddin*.
In its second phase, the project will work on coordinating the efforts of those involved in orphan care to provide a comprehensive support package for orphans, including financial, food, health, psychological, and educational assistance. The project aims to expand its scope to include three additional provinces annually.
