We first asked Roxman to provide UI/UE recommendations, wireframes and protoypes for an existing app designed by our in-house team. We were very pleased with the high quality of work and the speed with which they finished the job. 

Because we were so impressed, we then asked them to develop a new logo for the app - again they delivered a lot of very good options very quickly for us and we chose one of their designs. Due to their continuing success, we gave them additional work to design a brand and icon for a core element of the app - again we were very happy with the results.

Our app has not yet launched publicly but the company's management, the internal design team, the development team and internal marketing team are all very happy with the results. All agree that the app and its branding look more global and much more sophisticated because of Roxman's work. We're confident feedback during our upcoming beta program will be very positive with only minor tweaks needed based on user feedback.

This is a copy of the description provided on upwork: We have built a AR social media app that needs a visual design update to match our company's rebranding. We are seeking an experienced freelancer to help us update the visual design of the app UI to align with the new branding. The elements that you will be working with are only in 2D, but it is important to understand that camera-passthrough exists for some of the screens.

The app is built using unity (because they have a cross-platform AR SDK), but a design in Figma (or a similar tool) that uses constraints where possible would be more than sufficient.

Roxman delivered everything on time. Despite an 8 hour difference in time zones, they were very responsive and professional in their work. They worked well with our team. I would leave comments on the provided figma files and they were quick to make changes.

The initial virtual meeting we held helped to establish a sense of trust between our company and theirs. They had an impressive portfolio of prior projects that were similar to our own, so choosing them felt wise. As for the end-product, a lot of social media services seem to blend together, but Roxman was able to create a design that feels truly unique and speaks to their talent as an agency.

The only point of improvement would be clearly defining expected dates the project would be completed by, but the estimated hours were provided upfront, so this is not too big of a deal.

The project manager was very responsive and the comments we leave in figma gets a response immediately. We requested unscheduled online meetings a few times, and was talking with the project manager on the same day or maximum next day. Overall the communication from Roxman was awesome.

The crucial part about a redesign is to make sure it's the right path for your users and market before the development phase. Roxman team was knowledgeable and walks us through the user interview with prototypes and scripts. The usability testing is what makes or breaks the new design and we are happy to say that the result was amazing.
