The quality of their work and ability to work independently yet deliver results that required little tweaking. Also, given the complex technical expertise required in our particular industry, we found the team able to quickly learn the specifics of the carbon markets to deliver the software platform aligned to those requirements.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Rootquotient could have done differently?
While the overall performance of the team was impressive, the only (minor) area of improvement would be
ensuring time zones don't impact the ability to communicate with the customer, and
communication related to potential misunderstandings in terms of requirements, or lack of understanding, before proceeding with work to ensure a smoother process.

What challenge were you trying to address with RootQuotient?
We’ve hired RootQuotient for application development. We had a lot of customers applying for applications but were frustrated because they weren’t fully aware of the required documentation. Our goal was to create an application that would evaluate the readiness of applications.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We provided RootQuotient with a brief that described our overall goals. At this point, they gave us a comprehensive document to describe their plan of attack and insight into how they planned to develop everything. RootQuotient has been developing a web application that allows users to answer survey questions and gives boutique feedback based on those responses.
The web app is hosted on AWS and uses a frontend React portal; the backend is primarily made up of a tech stack with Ruby on Rails.
What is the team composition?
We work with about six individuals on a regular basis, but primarily, there are about three people we consistently work with.
How did you come to work with RootQuotient?
My company was working with RootQuotient before I started, so I don’t know the answer to that question.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $75,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

There have been a number of delays to the project that have primarily come from our side, but RootQuotient has always been flexible and patient. They consistently deliver on budget and provide a high level of communication,
