Root Code was recommended by a highly competent digital marketer. The skills of Root Codex were needed for the technicalities of the development of the website on Wordpress

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching, the site ranked very quickly on google. Had it not been launched and developed with Root Codex, I would have had a troubling 2021. Traffic increased significantally.

Fabio would be in contact pretty much all the time and keep me updated. He would let me know with any issues via email and inform me of work-arounds which they always managed to achieve.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team members are very professional, and they are extremely capable developers. Fabio is very patient, always explaining things in a simple way. During the project, he would answer any question immediately.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

All good.

Having worked with Root Codex in the past and the level of professionalism and domain knowledge within the affiliate space made it an easy and natural selection since root codex seemed best equipped to meet our requirements whilst also having speed and structure always top of mind.

The service provided was highly collaborative and focused on providing myself and the team with an intuitive to use CMS with all the features we required to allow us to manage content and deals with ease whilst also adding layers of functionality on top to allow us to scale and manage our partners offers with ease.

Their CTO and founder was our main POC and he handheld us through the process providing us with suggestions and optimisations along the way.

The outcome was refreshingly better than what we initially intended to have and as a result and the team and extremely happy with the end product we are now working with. We also aim to add additional features to help grow and mature the product further.

The communication was easy and seamless.

The agile method with which they approached the project allowed us to go to market faster then initially anticipated.

Having known and worked with the team at Root Codex for quite a number of years, my mind was rest assured that this project will be delivered to specification and on time

Product Widget consists of a react.js application and connects to Wordpress API and displays products to a customers landing page.

The user is able to enquire on a products whilst our customers are notified by SMS and email about the user enquiry. Notifications are sent using a third party mailing system.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This deliverable is the first of a number of deliverables and will form part of the building blocks of our oncoming tech roadmap. The project was delivered on time, fully scalable and loosely coupled to our platform.

We have been working together for quite a while, so communication is very effective between myself and RC. We now how to get a job done with little talk and streamlined work and processes.

I have direct access to the team at Root Codex and this makes our communication flawless.

Very happy overall and have nothing much can be added.

I’m the director of Gambling Deals, a UK-focused deal comparison website for the gambling industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Root Codex?

We needed a website to which we can easily upload content. We also wanted the frontend to have a top-notch user experience, clear traffic conversion opportunities, and great SEO performance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Root Codex understood what needed from the project from our initial brief. The team dug into our product’s unique selling benefit (USB) and what we wanted to offer our users. They showed an excellent understanding of our needs and articulated the deliverables and variables required as clearly as possible. 

The team produced a variety of wireframes based on different ideas we presented them. After that, Root Codex built a full website in WordPress using plugins and a customized software solution. When we upload content—whether it’s video, image, or text content—the software will style it for us before posting.

We have a primary point of contact. Three people work on the project behind the scenes.

Root Codex came recommended from an industry contact who spoke highly of them. Because of their experience in producing similar solutions to past clients, we felt that Root Codex could deliver a deals comparison site.

We started working together in December 2018, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project’s main deliverable was an attractive website optimized for solid user experience. The site is now converting leads to our initial product offering. We’re still working with Root Codex.

We have one contact, and he's very responsive and communicative. We talk via phone calls and email.

Root Codex goes above and beyond to deliver what they say they would within the timeframe they commit to.

We hired Root Codex to design and build a WordPress site for us to spread information about our upcoming headquarters move. We have 150 employees in our offices that all need the same information. We also wanted our offices in Hamburg, London, and Los Angeles to feel like a part of the move and know what was happening. We do not have web designers internally, so we decided to outsource this job.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals were to build a site that could spread information about the new office. We wanted to create engagement and a buzz around it.

How did you select this vendor?

I heard about Root Codex from former colleagues and got a good impression from our first meeting with the vendors. It was a plus that they were able to meet our very short deadline.

We first met for a discovery session where Root Codex listened to our needs. Already within a week, they had seven design suggestions for us to look at. When we selected our favorite, they started working.

After this, we sent over our brand guidelines, our initial text, and a few pictures we wanted on the site. Root Codex presented us with the product, made suggestions on its design and UI improvements, and helped us categorize our site. The team also found solutions to our login requirements and made suggestions on tools for measuring engagement on the site.

What was the team composition?

We have only been in contact with our project manager Fabio (Director, Root Codex). It’s been a very seamless experience. We don't know what other resources he has used within his team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It´s too early to say, as the site went live just a week ago. However, so far we have received very good feedback on the look and feel of it. We’re also publishing more information as we go.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Fabio was very easy to work with and kept us updated on his progress along the way. It was very clear when we could expect deliveries of different stages or when his team needed something from us. They were also very careful with our time and worked around our schedules.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge and design skills are impressive. They delivered on time according to their promises. They presented solutions we had not thought about ourselves.

In this project, I don't think they could have done anything differently. We are very happy with the speed, delivery, and customer focus from Root Codex.

We now do keyword research faster and with higher accuracy.

We’ve had to do a lot of changes because we learned as the project progressed. It’s not a problem though since Root Codex is good at improvising.

I’m impressed with their business understanding. Root Codex knows how to connect the user with a solution.
