Our app allows you to buy, collect, and send any product within your city. The app is already present in over 22 countries and +400 cities, making life easier and better for millions of people around the world. The app is available for free on both iOS and Android. I am a Performance Marketing Lead in charge of testing for new channels with the objective of UA.

We tested Rocket Lab user acquisition capabilities on programmatic advertising. Our objective was New Customers for our App with tCACs on a market level. We tested more than 5 countries in Q4 2020.

What were your goals for this project?

Understand the cost and quality of the users that we could obtain through Rocket Labs solution. We used several KPIs to evaluate performance where we highlight: CAC, Retention, and LTV.

How did you select Rocket Lab | Mobile App Growth?

Rocket Lab was brought up by a colleague from the digital marketing industry. The company is quite new but the focus and solutions were competitive as the team that provides good follow up and support.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

User Acquisition at a global scale. My role consisted on the coordination of the test. Rocket Lab was responsible for distributing the budget accordingly to performance on several ad networks. Also working on content optimization and reporting.

What was the team composition?

Rocket Lab provided us an Account Manager and Technical Support. For some specific meetings they invited engineers to resolve doubts.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had solid learnings on our KPIs understanding the performance we could expect from this channel. We reached the goal of NCs to do all analysis.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Good, communication was established through Slack to facilitate quick response. They are fast to troubleshoot and deliver your requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are quite new but got a viable product to work with, the team is young too but they have the expertise to deliver promised results.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Close follow up on campaigns would be good, sometimes the work was more reactive causing unnecessary issues.
