RGray works with us as a full-cycle marketing partner, and the scope has grown steadily since the start of our cooperation. The engagement covers five main areas:

1. Market & Competitor Research → Product Concept. RGray started with a very scrupulous analysis of the market, competitors, and demand. Based on that data, they proposed their own vision of how the product should look, including its structure and the specific product modules. Because every suggestion was backed by data and clear conclusions, we agreed with almost all of their points, and this research became the basis for the platform's concept.
2. Branding & UX/UI Design. They developed the platform's visual style and full UX/UI. Since CoinLaunch is an analytical platform that evaluates crypto projects against 80+ metrics, the main design challenge was presenting large data sets intuitively. RGray handled this through iterative prototyping, user testing, and focus groups before moving to the final design.
3. SEO & AI Search (GEO). RGray took us from zero to ~150,000 visits per month, with 90% organic traffic coming from search engines and AI providers. CoinLaunch now ranks TOP 1-5 for the main keywords related to crypto investment and crypto investment platforms.
4. Customer Acquisition. Beyond inbound work, RGray regularly brings us new clients directly from their own network and channels. 
5. Token Launch Marketing for Our Clients. As we specialize in crypto investment and token launches, many projects on our platform need complex marketing for their product or token launch. RGray serves them very efficiently, so they've effectively become an extension of our value proposition to our own clients.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The most measurable outcome is organic growth: RGray took CoinLaunch from 0 to ~150,000 visits per month, with 90% of traffic coming organically from search engines and AI providers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar). We now rank in the TOP 1-5 for our main target keywords related to crypto investment, presales and crypto investment platforms, which is our primary source of new users.
• There are also direct commercial results: RGray has referred around 14 new clients to us from their own network and channels, and the token launch campaigns they run for projects on our platform have helped raise around $10M for our clients.
• Beyond traffic, the market and competitor research they delivered directly shaped the product itself: the platform structure and modules we launched were largely based on their data-backed recommendations, which saved us months of trial and error.

Their project management has been one of the strongest aspects of the cooperation. We have a regular meeting cadence with weekly syncs and monthly reviews where they present progress, metrics, and next steps, so we always understand what's being done and why. All key milestones and deliverables have been delivered on time. Day-to-day communication runs through Telegram and Slack, and their response speed is impressive - usually within a couple of hours. Hleb is personally involved in the engagement and monitors everything closely, which shows in the level of detail across the work. What stands out most is how they respond to our needs: when priorities shift, which happens often in the crypto market, they adapt quickly without losing quality or deadlines. They're also proactive - they often flag upcoming tasks and dependencies before we do, effectively keeping us on schedule too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing is that RGray thinks like product owners, not like a service agency. Their research didn't just inform our marketing - it shaped the product itself, down to the platform structure and modules. Every recommendation they make is backed by data and clear reasoning, so decisions are easy to agree on. Their use of AI is on another level. They've automated a significant part of the marketing processes with AI - research, content production, reporting, and operations - which multiplies the impact of the same team roughly x10. We get the output volume of a large agency with the attention and quality of a boutique one. They were also ahead of the curve on AI search: a large share of our organic traffic now comes from AI providers, which is a channel most agencies aren't even measuring yet. Their crypto expertise is also rare: they understand the market's culture, cycles, and narratives, so we never have to explain the basics.

Are there any areas for improvement or something RGray could have done differently?

Honestly, it's hard to name anything significant - the cooperation has been running for a long time and the process is well tuned. If we had to pick something, their reports and analyses are sometimes very deep and detailed, so it takes time to digest them; a short executive summary on top would make them even more useful. But we'd take this level of thoroughness over the opposite any day.

Together with RGray, we’ve carried out the creation of our overall marketing strategy. Their team also helps us with our SMM, PPC, SEO, PR, and email campaigns.

We were looking at several other vendors, but we decided to go with their team because we were impressed with the mindset that they had when it came to product promotion and individual marketing activities. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With the current state of the market, it’s not ideal for us to launch new products. However, the product RGray delivered has exceeded our expectations in terms of performance. At the moment, we have over 10,000 registrations, 1,000 monthly active users, and a bounce rate of 10%, which is pretty good for our niche.

How did RGray perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done a pretty good job from a project management standpoint. They’re always on top of everything, and we have weekly and monthly meetings to discuss updates and the progress of the project.

All management shortcomings are offset by quick feedback through our communication channels: Telegram, email, and Slack.

I’m the CMO of bitoftrade, a technological platform for crypto investors. Our platform allows users to trade assets with the help of tools like leverage, swaps, and limit orders. It’s essentially a crypto exchange platform for crypto users all over the world. I’m responsible for the whole marketing department and the company’s brand promotion and customer acquisition.

We hired RGray to help us with SEO and content development to increase our brand awareness through content.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RGray is helping us with SEO, link building, research, and general SEO. For content development, they provide recommendations on new topics for articles. They tell us the most relevant content for a particular audience and recommend the right keywords. In other words, they not only help us with content development but also offer recommendations on how we can improve our general performance. 

Moreover, their team writes articles for us, and we post them on our website. They work on backlinks and collaborate with another team that works on our PPC campaigns. They’re helping us with that, but it’s not one of their major responsibilities. 

Sometimes, RGray helps us with design. They work on the visuals of the articles, creating nice infographics, cover images, and other things. They cooperate with our designers and provide their recommendations on how to make the materials more engaging wherever they’re posted.

We mainly work with 3–4 people from RGray. Their founder is in charge of keyword research, and another teammate writes the content. The third one is a technical person who helps us with our website in terms of posting articles correctly and checking if backlinks are placed correctly. 

How did you come to work with RGray?

We chose RGray over their competitors because of three reasons. First, they were bilingual — we needed content in both English and Russian. Second, they had a great portfolio. Third, they understood the crypto industry; they knew the trends and understood what was going on in the industry. That was our main reason for choosing them.

We’ve invested around $5,000 per month. This depends on the scope of their work, how many articles they produce, and other factors.

We started working with them in March 2022, and the partnership is ongoing. We’ve launched the platform, and they’re now basically handling our content.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

To measure success, RGray provides us with monthly and weekly reports as they monitor our website’s performance all the time. The reports contain all the metrics and numbers we need to see what works and what doesn’t. If something isn’t working, we improve it together. For example, if a certain article doesn’t perform well, we work on it together. 

Overall, I would definitely recommend working with them. They may be expensive, but it’s a cost you should pay for the quality of their work. They work hard not only in terms of SEO but also in terms of meaning, messaging, and brand recognition. The team digs deep into our brand to understand our benefits and what we are selling.  

How did RGray perform from a project management standpoint?

RGray’s project management is amazing. Their founder is in charge of the engagement, and he monitors everything. He’s in touch with me on a daily basis — their communication and management are awesome. 

To communicate, we’ve used Slack and Telegram. They’re also using good tools like Google Analytics. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our communications with them have been impressive. The team is truly friendly. I like working with people who speak my language, so it’s easy for us to communicate about any problems or topics. Overall, their communication and personalities are great. They’re a combination of professionalism and fun.

The structure of RGray’s workflow is great, so listen to what they say and follow their recommendations. Don’t be like other companies that think they know everything, but they don’t. Follow instructions — their recommendations work.

We hired RGray to do crypto related PR for our token generation event.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Our COO recommended their services, as she had worked with them in the past. For PR placement and content production they do extremely well for a product launch. Everything was targeted and they worked with our budget, even though it changed many different times. They also advised us on our overall strategy, and their guidance offered an expert to the team that we would not have otherwise had. They say the devil is in the details, and Gleb at Rgray is very detail oriented.

It was a relatively simple campaign, but where it really shined was the article that the team wrote about Penguin Karts under the guidance of Rgray. We were having trouble defining some of the game details and NFT utility, and with his guiding questions for the article brought out the best of the team and it showed in their work.

We are not sure, there is quite a bit of outreach that goes into outreach for the publications, we worked directly with Gleb, and used his expertise, and he handled his team. They also responded very quickly to some last minute requests when we needed help with some research into Twitter.

The article got picked up organically on top of the paid placements, which increased visibility.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RGray worked with us in marketing and advertising our business. They also helped us in collecting money to ensure we had successful crowdfunding. As part of that, the team made a website with a description of the project, and they helped us negotiate with the influencers so that they’d work with us. They helped with paid media, too.

We didn't give them a brief of the details to follow because the work wasn’t as formal as it should be. We just gave them a couple of tasks to do. They didn't create the content. Instead, they just posted what we provided them.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were working together for the same client and I saw that the work they did for that client is very good. We didn't need to find any evidences for their quality as we've seen results and their real approach, which looked very positive to me.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

From the very beginning we have about 300% more visitors than before (just first few days) and this number just grows! We've been working previously with another company from EU which didn't bring us a half of that over a few months. At this point I have about 10 times more leads than I had before which are much more relevant due to the proper semantic core.

Something amazing: we have a synergy with RGray. It isn't an overstatement: they listen what I say very carefully and I'm a very happy client as I don't need repeating anything.

As said above, we've worked together before they started doing work for us and I was sure it's going to be perfect: they really care about making everything clear and efficient. They understand when they should insist and vice versa, where they should not. I see that they care about results and they are not trying to do their work just to grab some money.

For having a zero-page website, the team was able to successfully deliver a 5% conversion on their test traffic. The team was able to get customers to convert with little trust.

When our founders wanted to change our landing pages, RGray pivoted on the spot and changed all of the creative. They’re just amazing and willing to accommodate us no matter what demands we make.

How did RGray perform from a project management standpoint?

RGray leads our organization through the project process, step by step. When our team gets lost, RGray takes extra time to help us out. We used Telegram, initially, for communication. Now, we use Slack and Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re quick to move, and they can work under extreme deadlines. They have mid-range prices and offer excellent quality.

Their junior staff needs to practice more when speaking with customers. They’re not great at giving presentations, but they clearly know their stuff.

What challenge were you trying to address with RGray?

We had our project but very little marketing infrastructure, so we hired RGray to develop a digital marketing strategy as well as to conduct research, design, and SEO for our landing page.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started out by conducting user and market research to inform how they marketed our product to the world. That helped them target specific keywords for the landing page that they used to design and fill content on the site.

We uploaded a couple of blog posts that they provided to help us rank for those keywords as well, and they created some creative content for ads and social media that would draw in our target audiences. From there, they helped us to decide how to split our efforts between different marketing channels in order to maximize our effectiveness in that space.

I communicated with two people from their team but as far as I’m aware there were at least 5–6 of them working on different parts of the project.

We were working with another agency and they suggested bringing them on as a part of the team. After speaking to them, I was really impressed by their knowledge of our area and started working with them.

The project started in February 2020 and wrapped up in April, but we are keeping them on as our agency of record going forward.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve done a really great job for us, setting really high expectations from the beginning and then delivering or even surpassing them as the project went on. The strategy they’ve implemented has been very measured and effective, helping us to move from less competitive keywords to more competitive in order to get the most out of the work at each stage.

We’ve started to rank well on almost all of them and have seen a significant uptick in traffic just since launching the landing page last week. The list of keywords for which we are ranking is growing actively, starting from around three in our first week and now stands at over 100. We have a plan in place to continue building backlinks to increase our ranking on those pages.

How did RGray perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management skills were actually one of the best aspects of our work with them. Most creative agencies are focused on the creative aspect of the project and aren’t so good with deadlines, but RGray was great from the start. They were actually running ahead of us and helped to remind us to stay on top of all of our milestones.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were very impressed with their ability to manage the project, but we also really appreciated the knowledge of our field that they came into the project with. Because of their familiarity with cryptocurrency, they were willing to dig deep into our product in order to really tailor their marketing work to our specific needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It seemed like toward the end of the project they extended themselves a little too significantly, and we had a slight drop in their project management, but it really didn’t cause them any significant problems.

Try to be very upfront so that you can make sure everyone is on the same page with regard to the expectations on both sides of the project.
