The platform needed to be updated to more recent technologies and concepts. The project included maintenance, migration, and release of the new version. In addition, we implemented important features focused on real estate credit, such as the financing simulator and its integration with our Hubspot CRM.

The planning was excellent, always considering market techniques and also our specific needs. A project depends on several people, and that was made possible with Rework. They were always willing to provide someone with complementary knowledge.All of our needs were met.

Deadlines can be better calculated. However, it depends too much on the scope and level of detail provided by the client. In our case, many times we fell short in this regard.

Our company develops business solutions for the Brazilian real estate market. I am responsible for the company's operations area and I was the manager of the Imohub project.

Our company began a transformation process to offer financial products to the end customers of real estate agents and real estate agencies and nationwide operations based on the development of a new real estate marketplace for the Brazilian market. The technical experience of the Rework team was decisive for the technical development of this marketplace.

Rework's owner and technology leader had already collaborated with our company in the past and when we decided to move forward with this new project, we had no hesitation in entrusting him and his team with the technical development of the project.

The project was carried out using agile software development methodologies and covered everything from the technical specification of the solution, to the implementation of the front and back-end, as well as the interaction with the infrastructure team for the final delivery of the new marketplace.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The development team consisted of four people, two front-end specialists, one back-end specialist and a full stack developer as team leader.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The launch of the new marketplace was held at a national event and received a very positive reception from leaders and the national real estate market. The main innovation of the project lies in the ability to bring together different market players in a single business environment that is completely focused on the end customer.

We use scrum-based agile methodologies to conduct the project and tools such as GitHub, GitPod, Notion and Slack to enable decentralized development, documentation and communication.

Rework IT Development's professionalism and technical expertise were fundamental to the success of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Their delivery was exceptional. Naturally, it will always be possible to improve and evolve in something, but in this specific project, I believe that all expectations were met.

I work as a commercial manager for a large company in the hospital sector.

For what projects/services did your company hire Rework IT Development, and what were your goals?

Our great challenge was to effectively manage the relationship with our customers. We had several disconnected software to perform specific activities, and a lot of information was lost. Another big problem was the training of new salespeople, as we had to do it in different systems. The goal was to create a new CRM to centralize all processes on a single platform, and also integrate with the ERP that we use in our company to populate sales data and new customers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The goal was to create a new CRM to centralize all processes on a single platform, and also integrate with the ERP that we use in our company to populate sales data and new customers.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The project went through a scope definition phase, where all the processes we carried out in different systems were identified. With this mapped, we were given a flow diagram with this finding. Afterwards, Rework suggested some changes in the flows to speed up the processes and to generate data at more correct times (for example, we asked for a lot of customer data in the first contact stage. We ended up changing to asking for this data in a diluted form in 3 other processes , and this greatly accelerated our funding and the start of negotiations). This definition was the first delivery we had, fully documented. After that, we had the development stage where weekly releases were made to monitor the development. In the end, we received a document with all the processes mapped in the scope being presented in videos, proving their correct execution and delivery. We use these videos for training currently. Now, Rework supports us whenever we need new features.

In total there were 5 people, with Adriano as our direct contact at Rework and 4 other developers, 2 Laravel PHP developers and 2 other React JS developers. All of the team are senior professionals.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Before starting development, we mapped the average time to train a new salesperson, the average time for first contact with a lead, and the average time for the sales process. In the first process, we had a reduction of about 3-4 days of training to just 3 hours, carried out online, that is, before starting work, we were able to train the salespeople. The time to first contact a lead was reduced by 700% and the average time to close a sale was reduced by 550%. The new system allowed us to do more with the same team since the new CRM solved the manual and repetitive processes.

They were basically defined Epics with specific delivery dates. This was defined and agreed upon in a meeting between Rework and our company. After that, we had a weekly release to follow the evolution, and every 2 weeks a meeting to evaluate the development process. The main tool was Slack, where Rework every Friday provided a report of what was released, in addition to a board on Github to follow the tasks being developed. Time records were made on Rework's own platform, which allowed us to see the hours worked and in which tasks they were used. At the end of each weekly sprint, we received an invoice with the hours worked and paid fortnightly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The consistency of deliveries. What was agreed upon was delivered. Every week we had news in the system, and the Rework focused on firstly creating all the routines for registering and importing data, so, while the system was being built, we already launched register data that would be useful for the system, avoiding having to have a big job in the final delivery.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only issue we felt was not tracking hours of fixes, but this has been fixed by the Rework. As a rule, they don't charge hours for corrections, so they didn't release them and we had no vision of this. They adjusted for all these hours to appear in the report, however, without charge.
