We wanted to completely revamp our frontend website. We were looking for someone who had a good eye and could create a good, enticing website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Revealize Inc. developed a new site from scratch; they tried to fix our existing website, but it had a virus. I believe it’s a WordPress site. I let them know generally what content and pages we wanted, and then they ran with it. They came up with all of the design and creative aspects of the site. They contributed visual content.

What is the team composition?

I’m not sure. My guess is 3–4 people worked on this project.

How did you come to work with Revealize Inc.?

I found them on Yelp. I read their reviews and then interviewed them along with others before deciding that they were the best fit.

How much have you invested with them?

It was right around $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in February 2020, and we completed it at the beginning of April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a poor ranking from Google on our load time, and now, we’re grade-A across the board for our speed and load time. That’s been a drastic improvement. It should translate to helping with SEO.

They were excellent. The team was very accessible and responsive. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their eye for design is excellent. Not everyone can make a site run with fast load times, but Revealize is very good at that.

I don’t really have any constructive criticism for them.

Just pay them – there’s nothing tricky about it.

What challenge were you trying to address with Revealize Inc.?

We were hoping to completely rebrand, from more of a generic marketing agency to an agency that specializes in business intelligence. The work that we were doing on the backend reflected that, but our frontend website and design did not. The goal of working with Revealize was to make that frontend match the backend.

Revealize Inc. wireframed the whole site. It’s built on WordPress with a custom theme on Elementor. They did title tags, H1s, and some of the on-page elements of marketing.

I worked with a project manager, Cole (President). I also worked with a designer and a developer.

Our work together was from January–May 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We love the site. The brand looks amazing and definitely reflects what we do now. We launched a few different marketing campaigns recently and got a lot of new traffic and leads coming through the site. Everything works flawlessly, and we’re getting compliments on the new branding.

How did Revealize Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They were super responsive and willing to make changes based on my suggestions. They had their own project management software to manage the project, where all of the wireframes were submitted and comments were tracked. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most happy with the design. We didn’t give them a ton to work with, and what they came up with was exactly what we were envisioning, despite how poorly we explained it to them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything too constructive.

Any advice for potential customers?

It’s hard for a developer/designer to know what you’re thinking unless you really spend the time to articulate what it is. That’s something I’ve learned over the course of working with them – the more detail I can give them, the better it’s going to turn out.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback about the website, which never happened with my old website. My readers tell me that the new website looks better. Additionally, our traffic has been steadily going up, and overall analytics have also been going up since the redesign.

How did Revealize Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They use Dubsado. We outlined the project timeline, deadlines, and assigned the tasks to different teammates. It’s been very organized as far as expectations. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cole is very good at communicating. He called me every day to make sure I was happy and just to check in. I can tell that Revealize Inc. cares about making clients happy and not just doing the work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The website took longer than expected. This wasn’t their fault; it’s just a very large website. It’s hard to follow the exact timeline and make it go perfectly, but a more realistic timeframe would’ve been helpful.

Be as prepared as possible in terms of mockups, and be committed to writing new content and being involved in the process.

Revealize Inc. built a brand-new website from scratch including the design. Their team implemented video technology and lead generation fields to capture consumer information and convert that into leads. They built a chat feature and significant automation into the website that makes it look cool. During the engagement, their team created two videos for the website too. One video was two minutes and about the business. The other video was a one-minute recruiting video.

I’ve had numerous leads come through that filled out the information indicating interest in a phone call. I use the website on all of my social media platforms. The video led to recognition amongst my sphere of influence and created a larger local footprint in comparison to the size of our company. We’ve had more traffic generated and the website gives us more legitimacy in our space. They delivered on all the project's objectives.

Revealize Inc. is the most responsible vendor that I’ve ever worked with. He’s always responsive to emails, calls, and texts. I’m genuinely blown away by his overall level of customer service.

I’m impressed by their team’s level of creativity and vision. I told them my ideas and they built exactly what I tried to articulate. When I wanted to make changes, they didn’t take it personally. It wasn’t their way or the highway. Their team genuinely wanted to make me happy. They wanted the end product to be something that I was proud to show.

Treat them the way that they treat you. Be responsive. They will do everything that you need but you have to work with them.

We’ve had tremendous results. The platform is fast, ranking high and performing well. Our business has received many new orders. We’re on a two-week backlog, continuing to acquire new customers weekly. All of our business metrics are performing great.

Cole led the project management side. Our communication was consistent. Depending on what made sense, we spoke through email, phone calls, and text messages. Everything was discussed before implementation. There was excellent communication during development and testing afterward.

Their team did an excellent job researching and understanding the direction we wanted to take the business. Our company is in a category that doesn’t exist today, so that makes it harder to figure out keywords and our fit in the marketplace. The team at Revealize Inc. took the time to define our journey, backing it up with excellent development skills.

I'm the owner/founder of Catmosphere Laguna. It’s the first cat cafe in Orange County, California.

What challenge were you trying to address with Revealize Inc.? 

I needed to hire an external resource to transition from one web intake system to another. We’re one year old. Going into the second year, we wanted all our systems to be more appropriately suited to our customer’s needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Revealize Inc. led the website development. We have intake systems for the cafe booking that require my website to be completely user-friendly. Customers must be able to go in and pick a particular date and time for their visit with the cats or to schedule a party. Prior to them coming onboard, we didn't have a good integration of those systems. Revealize Inc. made sure that they fully understood our appointment system in order to make it work with the website. 

We had glitches in the past where our old system let multiple reservations overlap, and that led to unhappy customers. It wasn’t easy to fix because there were a lot of moving parts. Revealize Inc. developed a system so that customers can book a party or visit via the website and secure the time and date. They also fully integrated the payment intake system with the booking system.

I only dealt with Cole (President, Revealize Inc.). I believe he had some of his team working on the project as well. 

How did you come to work with Revealize Inc.? 

My PR person used Revealize Inc. on another project. She told me that they’re doing some really exciting projects for other new businesses, so I agreed to try them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The main project took place from May–July 2019. I still call on them if anything breaks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The workflow between our systems is now flawless. Revealize Inc. did exactly what we needed them to do. I was immediately impressed. They took care of everything beautifully by completely reworking our website to be more user-friendly. There was no having to go back to the original developer and get briefed; they just understood immediately what to do.

The cat cafe now gets five-star reviews on Yelp, Google, and our Peek Pro booking system. To me, that says the customers are happy. They get in on time and have plenty of time with the cats. He was able to solve the earlier issues. Unlike before, nothing goes wrong with their reservation. My fabulous felines behave beautifully, but the reviews really speak to the quality of Cole's work. 

How did Revealize Inc. perform from a project management standpoint? 

There was never a non-responsive moment. Things get very hectic in a dynamic environment when you're dealing with animals and humans at the same time. I needed Cole to swiftly take care of the human issues. He called me back day or night, and couldn't have been more responsive. 

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Cole was extremely personable. He came in and met my staff. He treated each and every staff member as if they were the most important person in the room. That means so much in a small organization.

No, nothing.

Be more organized than we were at the beginning. It helps if you can outline your needs appropriately. Cole picked up right where the other developer left off without any problems.

I relied on them to create my website. I had actually originally hired another company to do my landing page, but they simply never delivered. I was frustrated, and wanting someone who would complete the from work from top to bottom.

I communicated some functionalities I was looking for—like booking, FAQs, an about me page, and testimonial photos. They took those ideas and built the website from scratch. They’re also doing marketing by conducting SEO to increase web visibility.

Cole wasn’t afraid to give me suggestions—he was really helpful in pushing me to create more content for my site. I really appreciated all his insight on best practices as well as what my competitors were doing.

Their customer service truly distinguishes them. A lot of people can make websites, but they’ve gone beyond the standard by really being on top of everything. They always get back to me very quickly and make sure to address all my issues and concerns. Given my past experiences, they’ve been a huge relief.

We hold weekly updates via phone, but the majority of our communication has been over email, which I prefer. Revealize Inc. is super organized. Their team has actually helped me stay on track, making sure I give them everything they need and approve designs in a timely manner

Unlike other companies, Revealize Inc. is hands-on. The team has been dedicated to building the site and meeting deadlines. I was impressed with what they did and how easy it’s been to work with them. They reconstructed my site exactly how I wanted, adding features that made it way better than I’d ever expected.
