It took 2 months to get approved. Abi and Dave from reform worked tirelessly to get them approved. 2 months is quicker then expected as I had hoped for under 6 months. Reform needed to work with us and communicate with Google directly I regards to there our needs and the boundaries we had.

Reform Digital matched our communication style and frequency. Abi and Dave asked at the start how and when I would like updates and delivered every time. When I had an issue they listened and understood my requests

There ability to achieve what no other company has. Getting our ads approved. It took our company 4 years to get these fully approved and countless failed attempts and broken promises. But Dave assured me that they will do everything they can to help and finished our project 4 months early.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I like to do a large amount of work in house and take control of the changes we make at Fertility2Family. The only suggestion is that reform offer more suggestions for us to do the work ourselves in house to divide the work load between Fertility2Family and reform to get even better results

We started with Social ads but have extended this to SEM and SEO. Our goals wer eto initially drive the cost of our bloated Ads campaign down and introduce social as a means of reaching a better, stickier audience. We quickly relaised that SEO was one of teh ways we could help end our reliance on Ads and moved our SEO there as well as our current provider wasn't performing.

We did not come to Reform Digital with the intention of anything other than Social but after the interactions we had which wee open and transparent we decided that we should also move our Ads campaign accross. A flat fee as opposed to a pay as a proportion of ad spend was also attractive.

The structure was initailly to optimise our Smart shooping to bring cost down whilst run some intital ads on FB and Instagram before scaling. Then find the points of value and expand the Ads and socila campaigns from there based on those insights. Meanwhile start bilding out content and links for SEO.

So far weve workd with 4 in their team. One SEO lead, One social specialist. and the two directors - one of whom is focussed on our ad campaign.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've seen a 15% increase in ROAS so far on our Ads campaign and a 50x roas for social. Given socila is attributiong on view only and not on last click 50x is not indicative of total conversion effectiveness but is still a fantastic result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very. All staff are based in Melbourne so for us the communication is direct and on our timezone. They deal with urgent issues very quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The philosophy that whats good for our company is also good for theirs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not as yet. One could also wish for better results faster but I think thats unrealistic. Growing slowly and steadily over time is whats important. However they have been hard at it to try and push forward initially to make sure that were not affected by the changeover.

I select Reform Digital because of Dave's honest suggestion and there is no fluff about it. He was straight to the point, easy to communicate and understand what I need.

We had our initial calls in terms of what I need, my budget and if it is achievable both financially and practically. Then the team review my existing website, and clearly lay out the message that I want to include in the new website. The team also helped with the design of the website. Once they have a mock up, I will then proof read everything and go through the website to see if there are anything else that need to be included or any changes that need to be made.

We didn't go back and forth too many times as the team were very attentive and detailed in terms of what i need. The whole process was very seamlessly easy and quick.

I was communicating with Dave and Dave would liaise with his web developer.

After the new website was launch, I have gotten up to 5 genuine leads and bookings in a month, compared to 0 previously. I would consider the result to be great considering I didn;t set up any SEO or paid ads.

Their project management was to the timeline that they have promised. Very efficient in terms of communication and reassuring me where they are at with the deliveries. Overall, superb.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I find Reform Digital is an impressive company because of the people who work in it. They strive and support each other. They have a close team and great culture. Dave is an awesome boss who always think of ways to reward his staffs. I am very happy to work with company that invest in their staffs and it explains why their work ethics are at top level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I couldn't be any happier with the results. I think every company has some growth and learning throughout the journey. RD is a company that is consistently growing and improving!

We launched an e-commerce platform in March 2020. Our site experienced a huge increase in traffic at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we reached out to them to help us develop a new strategy in response to this surge.

We’ve asked them to focus on our SEO and Google Ads efforts in an effort to build our brand. They’ve tracked data as necessary and provided it to us in an easily digestible format. With this data, we’ve been able to work with them to drill into the best target markets for us and develop strategies to reach these target markets. To this end, we’ve also relied on them for Shopify expertise. We had also asked them to take a look at our Facebook marketing strategy, but we’ve since taken them back in-house.

I’ve worked with many members of their team over the course of our partnership. At this point, we have a single account manager that I work with directly.

How did you come to work with Reform Digital?

I spent about six months interviewing many potential firms. During this time, I had met Dave (Founder) through a Facebook group. He reached out to me after I posted about a problem in the group, so I included him in the selection process.

What set them apart was his flexibility in solving our problems. I had a WordPress site that I wanted to implement SEO best practices on with an e-commerce subdomain. All the other companies I spoke with weren’t willing to work with this setup. They refused to listen to my needs and why this setup was in place. Dave, on the other hand, didn’t see this setup as an issue.

We spend about $2,000 AUD (approximately $1,500 USD) with them each month.

We’ve worked together since July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve been really happy with what they’ve been able to achieve for us. Since starting our partnership, we’ve seen 156% growth in social media ad engagement, 98% growth in ad revenue, 40% growth in site traffic, and 70% growth in new unique purchases. Additionally, our ROI for the engagement is at 500%.

How did Reform Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fantastic. With their team scaling up quickly in the midst of the pandemic, they’ve certainly faced operational challenges. However, they never flowed any of these challenges through to me as a client. They’ve provided us with an online platform to view relevant metrics. We analyze this data together on a monthly strategy call and communicate outside this call via email and text messaging.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They clearly and effectively communicate the meaning behind the metrics they provide. They’re patient in explaining concepts to us, even providing full training sessions when necessary.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. I’m certain they’ve faced many challenges over the past year, but they’ve always been great at communicating with us.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t just hand money over and expect extraordinary results. Rather, make sure you have a handle on the data yourself. I dedicated time to learning about SEO and Google Analytics so I could guide my internal marketing team as best as possible. Additionally, interview a few different firms to find one that will best serve your needs when problems arise in your partnership.

They use AgencyAnalytics, where they can see all of our campaigns and how they perform; in the last 60 days, we’ve had 30 times conversion value, which is pretty good.

How did Reform Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re good. Every seven days, we review and adjust the campaigns. In terms of communication, we use email and Facebook Messenger.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a small and active chain that is fast — they’ll get back to you within 24 hours. Also, we can email them with a new campaign, and they can have it running within 48 hours, so they’re responsive. And lastly, if there’s any billing issue, they’re happy to negotiate with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.  

Any advice for potential customers?

Keep communication active and frequent; it’s common with agencies that if you stop communicating, they’ll get busy with another client. The more you talk to them, the more you get out of them, and the more they’ll learn about your business.

Dave reached out because he used to work with the previous social media marketing vendor we used. When he decided he’d had enough of the industry, he called me. I told him I wasn’t interested in a vendor in that industry anymore, but three months later I decided to give him a try.

We’ve been working together since October 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In the last 12 months, our online sales have doubled, and we’ve seen 87% growth in revenue alone., I’ve spent $30,000 on Google Ads during the engagement, and my conversion rate has almost doubled, rising from .07%–.08% to 1.3%, which is very high in my industry. Most of my competitors achieve around 1%. This means that my ads are finding people who want to buy our lighting products, and we’re convincing them to buy the products. My cost per customer is less than I was paying in the past as well.

How did Reform Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is extremely good. I’ve only been disappointed once, and they made it clear that they were working on the issue at hand but had not communicated that fact.

We have monthly, in-person meetings, and they come to me, which is unique. We also use Slack and reporting tool, but I don’t use the latter very much.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They actively create more work to do for me, but my bill hasn’t changed. The value for the money keeps going up and up. I don’t even have to ask for it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

This time last year, I had one employee working for me. Now, I have six employees. I never expected that growth, and I also didn’t expect to have to respond to someone else’s requests. They send me requests to create new social media ads to show my customers that we do custom projects. I didn’t expect that from them, so get ready to do big things.

Also, do the work you need to do before engaging. I wasn’t expecting to have six employees, so I’m moving from a 220 square meter factory to a 400 square meter factory in a matter of 12 months. I’ve doubled in size in every aspect of my business.
