The video highlights career opportunities across operations, culinary, sales and events, finance, human resources, engineering, marketing, leadership, and other areas.
• Change perceptions about hotel careers and demonstrate career growth. Help audiences see hospitality as a career pathway—not simply a first job. A key message is that someone can enter the industry in an entry-level position, develop valuable skills, advance quickly, and ultimately move into management and executive leadership.
• Inspire students to explore and pursue careers in the hotel industry. Red Mesa also provided creative direction, including music selection, pacing, and visual storytelling, to convey the energy, excitement, and challenges of the hotel industry and achieve THLA's desired outcome for the project

The project successfully produced a high-quality, reusaeable career-awareness resource that is generating increased digital engagement and positive responses from both viewers and hotel industry leaders. Early indicators of success inclued increased traffice to THLA's YouTube channel, positive viewer and industry feedback, distribution of the video to education and industry partners, and incorporation of the video into a TEKS-aligned classroom lesson.
These outcomes demonstrate progress toward the project's primary goals of increasing awareness of hotel careers, changing perceptions of hospitality employment, and encouraging more students to explore the hotel industry as a career pathway.

We hired Mr Productions to produce video deliverables at an industry event in Austin, Consenus23. This multi-day shoot involved many interviews and broll coverage. Our social team wanted short videos delivered during the event itself, which required careful planning and execution. 

Using interviews with key ecosystem partners, our video deliverables consisted of 2 qty 20-second videos daily, 2 qty 60-second videos after the event, and five qty 20-second soundbites. All of this content required a mix of aspect ratios for delivery to social.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Mr Productions delivered the content on schedule and on budget. Each video received more than 6K views in the first 24 hours. All of the video deliverables continue to receive positive responses. Our digital marketing team continues to use the videos for targeted outreach and web pages.

Mr Productions was responsive to questions that arose and challenges to the production schedule. They were flexible on their end if we had some minor delays with our feedback times. They delivered on schedule and met all of our expectations.

Mr. Productions brings a skilled mix of creative craft and the ability to execute within various production scenarios. They made the entire process seamless, from ideation to execution. They delivered visuals that delighted our entire team. We have already agreed to hire them again for future production work.

We wanted to create content to promote my art business course and to position myself as an authority in the field. Additionally, the goal was to create a soft-sell, documentary-style video to help stand apart from the hard sell ads currently run on social media.

I've worked with Mr. Productions in the past. They are geniuses at creating original, exciting content and are incredibly easy to work with. More importantly, the quality of work they create is not only creative, it also helps convert into sales.

After initially reaching out to them, I explained the purpose and goal of the video. After a few days, we met again and they pitched me their idea of how we could create something that wasn't really being done in the space. From there, we decided on the locations we would need to shoot in and any props that we might need. We met on the agreed upon day for the shoot and filmed about 8 hours.

I worked directly with Caleb and Sawyer. Caleb, as the director and writer asked me questions "interview style" which helped talk about my product and business in a natural way while Sawyer handled the production elements.

White Construction Company is an Austin-based general contractor with offices in Houston, TX, Panama City Beach, FL, and Ridgeland, MS. We've provided general contractor, management, and design/build services for our communities for over 50 years. My position is the head of Marketing focusing on pursuits and external communications.

Initially, we hired MR Productions to develop a team intro video for a pursuit. After that experience, we hired MR Productions to help us develop our company's 50th anniversary video. We wanted to document our company's history, focusing on gratitude towards our clients, partners, subcontractors, employees, and families that have allowed us to serve our communities for 50 years.

We wanted to develop a way to celebrate the milestone anniversary and share our history. In the midst of these projects, we also hired them to develop a project specific video of one of the largest projects we are building for the State of Texas in Austin.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A colleague knew MR Productions and threw their hat into the ring when we were soliciting for videographers. A big part of our final decision was we loved the way they interacted with our colleagues during the initial team intro project and the way they could take our broad concepts and explain their vision that aligned so well with ours.

They were patient, collaborative, and incredibly approachable. Being in front of a camera isn't natural and isn't comfortable for most. We needed someone who made our partners and employees confident on camera.

We developed and distributed an outline of what we were looking to do in detail and an RFQ/P that was sent to our list of videographers, shortlisted for interviews with a value engineered proposal, conducted interviews, selected MR Production.

MR Productions developed a contract we all signed and we began brainstorming sessions and identifying who we were to interview, what projects to include, etc. Then we began scheduling all film activities. When we received drafts we have about 2-3 final reviews for the final long video to reach the final product.

We worked with Caleb and Sawyer and they were wonderful. They were easy to collaborate with. Our team had several involved in the final approval of every step and they were patient with us to get every detail right in the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We presented the video to our entire company at our holiday socials and it was a rave. Standing ovation type response. We recently distributed it to our external audiences in a newsletter and on social media and we have received an overwhelming amount of positive responses.

Communication was primarily text or call with emails as follow ups and for detailed items. It was easy to get in touch with them for small or big activities, including weekends.

How much their vision matched ours. We interviewed several other videographers who had more experience than MR Productions. However, it was their personality and vision that matched our company's culture the most successfully. They understood what we wanted while providing expert opinions.

Now that we know how their processes work we can easily resolve any change in scope or monetary value. We ran into a few occasions that required change order requests after establishing a budget, but it was a new process for everyone to figure out how to best approach changes and communicate those as they happen.
