Having had experience with other programming companies, I found Radixweb to be a breath of fresh air with their professionalism and focus to get things done. We had strong and direct communication throughout and never felt any miscommunications or anything being lost in our communications.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The project went well overall, but we did need to spend some extra time with their QA team. We were able to resolve it and I don’t believe that will be an issue moving forward. They listened, responded and resolved it.

Director, Out on Hire & Keep It Easy
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Mar 10, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb’s above-industry-standard coding has resulted in an improved version of the client’s first software. They’ve also helped fully build out the second program. There have been no issues with the products, and the team ensures that each error is fixed promptly and completed before the deadline.
""Out of the five companies that we’ve worked with over the last 13 years, Radixweb has been the most professional.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the director of Out On Hire and Keep It Easy which are full scheduling, invoicing, and accounting programs for small businesses around Australia and New Zealand.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

I needed help with software development. We worked with a company before whose coding work was a bit questionable, so we analyzed and checked their output against industry standards and found that it was subpar. To resolve this, we brought in Radixweb.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I forwarded my ideas and concept to Radixweb, who then came up with a design plan and implementation roadmap. They took into consideration how the software would work within the dynamics of the market we’re catering to and proceeded to develop the full-fledged product in Flutter. We had already built Keep It Easy, so all they had to do for that software were updates, fixes, and design improvements. Out On Hire, on the other hand, had to be built from scratch.

Radixweb also took care of the UI/UX for both programs. They made changes to Keep It Easy, for which we had created a design a few years ago, and built Out On Hire’s interface from the ground up.

What is the team composition?

There are around 5–7 people on the team. We work with a lead developer and his superior, who has been my main point of contact since the early days of the project.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I was given their email address by someone I know. We gave them a small test project, and they did such a good job and found so many different errors that were done previously. We decided to work with them from that point on.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent just under $60,000 AUD (approximately $44,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in October 2019, and we have an ongoing engagement with them for both of our companies.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The existing users of Keep It Easy love the software and its new features. We’ve tested Radixweb’s coding and found that it’s above industry standards.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

I have absolutely no problems at all with any of the work that they’ve done. When we do encounter issues, they make always make sure it’s fixed the following morning and that the software is ready to be used again even before the set deadline.

We communicate through Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Out of the five companies that we’ve worked with over the last 13 years, Radixweb has been the most professional to deal with. We can always get ahold of them and trust that their code will be great. They’re really impressive, and I’ve already recommended their services to friends who need development and design work done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As with any kind of business transaction, sit with the team and create a roadmap so that everyone clearly understands what needs to be done.

During the project which is ongoing we are always have access from top down. CTO, VP Sales, Business Development, Analysts, Sr. Developers, Developers, Designers.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Radix is very good at scoping every project (we have done over 20 micro projects). They have completed every project timely or under the projected hours. If a project may have some creep, Radix always gave me advance notice if we made changes. Other times Radix would offer advice or solutions that would give us the technological advantage, efficiency and time management.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Typically we work with Sr. Manager of Business Development and the analysts to scope our sprints and then work directly with Sr. Developer to execute the sprints.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I like the top down management and access to all members on the team. Collaboration with Raif and Rezedent.com team. I also really like their ability to ramp up quickly if we have a deadline or need additional resources.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything is great. Keep up the good communication and quality development Radix!

I’m the director of growth for a company that provides software solutions to real estate agents and brokers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

As a software company, we need to continually evolve. We needed a team to help us update, maintain, and create features for our solutions.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Radixweb essentially helps us maintain and update our platform. Their team handles the updates to our solutions. They provide basic maintenance as well as work on bigger projects such as developing new features and products for us to roll out. Before we roll out a software product, their team tests it too. They also work on platforms' UXs, which is how software looks and users engage with it.

What is the team composition?

We have a primary project manager but also engage their UX and QA teams.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

We actually found them on Clutch by reading different companies' reviews. We talked to multiple companies but were impressed by Radixweb’s presentation.

How much have you invested with them?

We haven’t had a need to look elsewhere.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re pleased with them. Our account manager is also diligent, staying in touch with us about our needs and what their team could do for us.

We’ve thrown complicated projects at them, and Radixweb hasn’t disappointed us. They’re always able to figure out a solution to any of our challenges whether it requires developing new platforms or maintaining existing ones.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re halfway around the world, which presents challenges because we’re in different time zones. However, we’re getting good services for a great price.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When you’re working with a vendor, it’s important to provide them with clear instructions. Radixweb can accommodate whatever you need. Vendors want to make their clients happy, so they also have a tendency to appease clients. We found an effective way to ensure vendors actually understand our requirements by asking them to repeat back to us what we asked them to do.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The initial project we worked with Radixweb on was building a real estate site that would offer a complete solution to people selling properties. Users could enter their details into forms, such as their address and characteristics of the property. That information would feed into templates for creating house signs.

This was in 2010, when video streaming wasn’t as functional, and we couldn’t easily upload high-resolution photos. Radixweb developed a full e-commerce website for creating signs from start to finish. Those could be A4 brochures, signs that would go on the fronts of cars, and large for-sale signs for putting in the front of a house. They built a whole solution. The website had a CMS where users could change content and create new templates.

I’ve used Radixweb for other projects since then. They handle projects from initiation to testing and improvements. They developed a health and safety site, onto which they implemented a Microsoft platform to allow users to edit documents on the site. Most recently, they developed my own website.

What is the team composition?

I’ve had four different project managers from them across five projects. Over time, I’ve dealt with 9–10 people from their company. They communicate brilliantly. We normally work through Skype, email, and phone.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I met a couple of their members at a trade show in Sydney, including their CEO and sales lead.

How much have you invested with them?

The first project cost around $25,000. A US company I was considering would’ve charged $80,000–$100,000 for the solution. The overall cost so far is around $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

My first project with them started in August 2010 and ran for around three months, and then they offered ongoing support. The second project was in 2011 for the health and safety site. They developed my own website in September or October 2019. It was done in about three weeks.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Radixweb has met my expectations. They’re my go-to people; I have no hesitations doing complex projects with them, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’ve delivered my projects within reasonable timeframes.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very good with project management. The project manager on my first project was brilliant. They figured out all the solutions needed to bring my project into reality.

Their project lead communicates with me and goes back to the project team to do the development. I only deal with one person at a time, and they have other people to assist them behind the scenes. I prefer not to have too many stakeholders involved, but I’ve had conference calls with 2–3 other team members about technical issues and things I wasn’t sure of.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their innovation in terms of design, look and feel, and backend implementation sets them apart. They’ve gone past my expectations with product presentation. They’ve tended to come back with better functionalities than what I’d asked for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. They do a good job.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients should have a reasonable idea of what they need. Every project is going to be different. My projects have been more open-ended in terms of timelines, but I think they could complete a project within a set timeline.

If you go into a project without reasonably clear objectives, it can be a bit harder to reach a solution. Radixweb communicates brilliantly, and they have a good grasp of what they do. They’re good engineers when it comes to technology, but my advice for anyone looking to engage them is to make a reasonable brief. That will help them flesh out something beyond expectations.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We needed a partner to develop our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our web portals and did some social media marketing. Soon, they'll be doing some SEO work for one of our sites.

Radixweb also developed an application for customers to order services. On the app, users can choose the cleaning services they need, such as marble cleaning, chandelier cleaning, etc. It’s built for iOS and Android.

For each website they developed, we have an annual maintenance contract with them.

I interface directly with the business development manager.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

They sent an email to our managing director, looking for customers and partners in our region. I had a meeting with them and saw their quality websites. We also spoke with other possible partners, but many of them were too expensive. I recommended Radixweb because of the price and quality of their work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Besides the quality and price, their communication is amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they do whatever we tell them. They contribute ideas, but they’ll follow through on your ideas and goals.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you don’t have internet, you can always use a mobile phone to speak to them. You can connect with them through any communication tool.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Radixweb?

Through our primary market research, we found a huge gap in how organizations enable their sales teams. Many sales enablement tools focus on engagement (sending emails, social selling), but we've heard sales teams need help with core messaging. This brought us to design a Digital Sales Playbook, and our journey with Radix began. They are and continue to be our agile development team, paired up with our product management experts.

What were your goals for this project?

We required a Sales Playbook to work on any device, anywhere. Giving users access to on-demand content and Sales and Marketing collateral at their fingertips.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

We met with three development firms during our selection period. Radix was able to demonstrate they could develop the product we needed to design. Their customer support model is very responsive and continuous to be in sync with our Agile development sprints.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Custom Development, Project Management, Technology Consulting. Outlook integration allowed Sales Users to open pre-built email templates (from marketing) directly from the Playbook into Outlook, making it easy to send out prospecting messages. We're currently looking at adding Analytics to our Sales Playbook platform.

What was the team composition?

Account Manager for requirements gathering, Scrum Project Manager for agile development sprints, Technology consultant to advise on the best application approach, Developers to build the solution.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our clients are very happy with the UI/UX. They continue to say how unique our solution is in the market. We have a defined product roadmap that will continue to add value back to our customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Daily check-ins using Skype and Zoom. Any major releases, the development team and our team spoke over a Zoom meeting to understand the Users requirements and UX.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Agile development skills, Technology skillset, A clear understanding of User requirements & UX design.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They have been a flawless team to work with. At this current time, nothing to improve on, just keep doing everything you do today. It's awesome!

**The Review** — May 20, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb successfully met all of the project requirements, including processing speed and API functionality. Their innovative problem-solving abilities were valuable and evident during such an extensive engagement. The team is thoroughly communicative and transparent.
""They’ve been very consistent in their performance during the entire project."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the vice president of a data marketing company. We sell consumer and residential information data.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We work with vast databases of hundreds of millions of records and have several websites to sell them. Each of those sites is coded a little differently—they have their own backends and are essentially their own entities. Our goal with Radixweb was to combine all of those sites to have a single endpoint, a single API, that we could use to access all of our databases from a common platform.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

To facilitate this kind of endeavor, Radixweb had to start by developing a generic API that could access all of our different databases—each one with different fields, different requirements, and different types of data in it. Radixweb provided backend development services using .NET Core and .NET Standard. That same new API needed to be extensible so that we could add additional databases to it in the future without having to rebuild the API.

The new database also had to handle the sizable datasets we work with, meaning it needed to be capable of building and executing database queries against our hundreds of millions of records. And the product needed to operate quickly without any timeouts on a web interface.

What is the team composition?

I’m unsure of the entire team size for the project, but I worked personally with 3–4 people.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

We have a small development team in-house, but we couldn’t handle a project of this size by ourselves. We found Radixweb and several other firms through a Google search, and we met with their teams. In addition to having experience working with the mailing industry, which is essentially what we’re in, Radixweb was familiar working with some of our customers and working with with the different APIs that serve this kind of data. Ultimately, they had the best background to take on this kind of project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $35,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in November 2018 and remains ongoing. They’ve completed their initial development, and we are currently in a user acceptance testing phase.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Judging by our first tests, the database works as quickly and as well as we expected it to. Radixweb has accomplished exactly what we asked of them, and we fully anticipate that the product will work very well.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They are clear and accurate in their timelines. Radixweb has been responsive and precise with specifications and implementing our requirements. They’ve kept us updated on schedules and sent status updates and code as needed. They’ve been very consistent in their performance during the entire project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had a clear understanding of our needs and the ability to reduce them down into specific requirements. Despite sometimes working with limited information or ambiguous information based on our existing documentation or our existing APIs and websites, their capacity to understand and build something like this without having done it before was very impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve been an excellent partner during this entire project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s best to have a well-defined scope before engaging with them.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb has proven to be a reliable and capable vendor for several years. They are accessible at all times, and they communicate well through various channels. The team fosters a collaborative environment to ensure a productive and satisfactory offshore engagement.
""Working with Radixweb has been a completely positive and collaborative experience."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the principal at Exatech Technologies. We offer internet marketing, IT development, web design, and web development services.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

I’ve engaged Radixweb over the years to serve as a design and development partner on various software projects for my customers.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve relied on Radixweb for several web design and web development projects using WordPress, HTML, and DotNetNuke (DNN). Typically, I provide hand drawings or computer printouts of wireframes to give Radixweb an idea of the structure I’m looking for.

For the website designs, my clients will usually make their preferences known, or we will examine what competitors in that space choose to do for their websites. To facilitate the design processes, I provide basic diagrams to spark inspiration. Radixweb has also completed some logo design work for my clients.

What is the team composition?

I’ve had one project manager the entire time we’ve worked together. I haven’t met with the developers or designers, choosing instead to maintain a single point of contact. The design team consists of about 10 people, but I’m unsure of how many developers have worked on these projects.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I was confident in Radixweb’s work after interacting with them while I was at a different company. Once I moved on to my own business, I hoped they could replicate their past successes with my new clients.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent over $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in 2012, and it is an ongoing relationship.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It has been helpful to work with Radixweb on an as-needed basis. I don’t have a full-time developer on my staff, so by using their services, I’m able to reduce costs. But whenever I have a project for them, I conveniently pay them for that work only.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project manager is always available to us. We communicate well through email and Skype, which allows us to share screens. If necessary, I can also call them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve maintained a healthy relationship over the years. I’ve heard stories of people with unsatisfactory experiences working with offshore firms, but I’ve experienced nothing of the sort. Working with Radixweb has been a completely positive and collaborative experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing immediately comes to mind as needing improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try to put as much detail as possible on paper and give some relevant examples of competitors to give their team a clearer picture of the project.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb revamped the UX/UI, simplifying the navigation and adding secure messaging capabilities. The team demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft-based technologies and provided useful input to the development. Open communication helped them adapt well to ambiguous situations.
"“The project management communications, reporting, and team management were all very positive.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the COO of RemedyConnect, a digital services and marketing company in the United States. We provide healthcare-specific websites, marketing, after-hours answering services, and SEO solutions.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Radixweb?

We were looking for resources with the development capability to augment our mobile app-based projects and extend our support services. Our main project was to rebuild an app called “Your Practice” with updated platforms. We also needed development support for our CMS.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to redevelop and simplify an existing mobile app so that it was faster and user-friendly. We also wanted to provide secure messaging within the application for providers.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Through smaller trial projects, we built a good understanding of their capabilities and approaches.

Describe the project in detail.

Radixweb reengineered our legacy app “Your Practice” using the latest iOS and Android frameworks. They simplified the UI with easy navigation and improved the performance of the apps drastically to provide a superior user experience.

The app allows parents and guardians to reach their doctors after hours to get certain medication-related answers. It has a secure encrypted messaging communication mechanism with a defined workflow for collaboration between physicians, patients, and our after-hours services app RemedyOnCall.

What was the team composition?

We had a dedicated project manager for the CMS and mobile app projects. We also had multiple front- and backend developers.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All projects were delivered on time and on budget. Their approach, communications, and technical knowledge were all of a high standard.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project managers we were assigned were very accessible and easy to communicate with. They provided us with weekly status reports that were detailed and clear.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The project management communications, reporting, and team management were all very positive. Their knowledge of Microsoft-based CMS and mobile apps was very high and provided great insight.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As with most projects, well-defined functional and non-functional requirements will always minimize iterations and scope variance. That said, Radixweb always reacted well to the uncertainties of the projects.

**Feedback Summary**: With an understanding and organized approach to the project, Radixweb successfully completed the solution. They paid close attention to detail, delivering high-quality work that aligned with the original vision. Overall, they were a trustworthy, dependable, and smart team.
"“Based on my experience, Radixweb was a reliable and professional team. They’re a nearly perfect partner.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a petroleum engineer, but I’m working on an unrelated startup project that involves building a time-management tool. I’m still working to sort out all of the paperwork at the moment, so I can’t share too much information.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

I have an idea of how I wanted the platform to look and function, but I didn’t have the technical experience to build it. I needed a vendor to handle the development process.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I shared my requirements with Radixweb, and we worked together to scope out the project, assign a team of resources, plan weekly timelines and milestones, establish a reporting system, and decide on the technology to use for the build.

They started with the logo. Radixweb provided several options, and I picked the one I liked best. Then, they created a few more iterations to incorporate all of my feedback. I showed them my basic PowerPoint sketches for the user interface, and they turned those into mock-ups. Once we finalized the screens, their team started development. Radixweb integrated a few APIs with the tool. One of them syncs the app with our website to facilitate continuous data uploading and downloading for our users.

What is the team composition?

I worked with four different teams from Radixweb throughout the project. I interfaced with one or two people for each phase—logo, iOS development, Android development, and web development. There was a project manager for each component.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I searched for developers on Google and reached out to 12 companies scattered around the globe. In my first interactions with Radixweb, they seemed willing and eager to work with me, which helped me make my decision. They seemed like a nice team, so I was confident in moving forward with them.

How much have you invested with them?

They charged an hourly fee of $25. In total, we spent close to $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project from April–October 2018. We paused for a bit after establishing the scope so that I could gather the budget. We were also scheduled to finish sooner, but I came up with some new ideas and requested additional changes, which added another month or two of work.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I plan to officially launch the app in March 2019. It’s currently live in Angola, but we have a few things to do before we release it into the European market, like GDPR compliance.

Based on my experience, Radixweb was a reliable and professional team. They’re a nearly perfect partner. It can be difficult to pass on a personal idea to an outside developer, but everything they delivered aligned with my vision. I felt completely understood. All aspects of their work, from the logo to the final product, resonated with me. They’re great listeners.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

We used GoToMeeting for day-to-day communication, and Radixweb sent weekly progress reports via email. They clearly detailed what they were working on and what they’d completed. Someone from their team was always available to meet or talk online so that we could resolve any issues as quickly as possible. They truly handled everything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I switched bank accounts, so there were some payment delays on my end. Radixweb was very understanding, and it never interfered with their work. Despite working in different areas, there was still a strong level of trust.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This was my first time working on this kind of project, so I can’t really compare it to any previous experiences. Overall, I’m pleased with the partnership.

Any advice for potential customers?

They strictly follow the client’s ideas and requirements rather than adding their own details. As such, anyone working with their team should be clear about they want and provide as many details as possible. You get what you ask for with Radixweb. Because I was only looking for someone to execute my plan, they were perfect.

"“They can analyze problems and come back with different types of solutions.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of netUP, which provides secure file transfers, as well as payment services.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

One of our main developers left the company before finishing the project, so we got Radixweb to take over for us. We didn’t have the time to train a new employee.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We went through a bit of planning and specs gathering, but the main service offered by Radixweb was development. The project was unfinished at the time, so we had a number of bugs to fix, then they provided enhancements to our platform.

They helped us with ASP.NET Zero development, using the C# language. It also had a lot to do with databases—SQL queries, for example.

They don’t provide maintenance services: once they finished, they gave us the code and we ran with it. I’ve signed them for a further 40 hours of work, in case we found any bugs in the system, but it’s not maintenance as such.

What is the team composition?

Radixweb assigned only one developer to our project, but it was their top one: an advanced engineer able to create his own specifications and perform pathfinding. We didn’t need a whole team, especially given that it wasn’t such a large project.

They also assigned a project manager in May 2018, to whom I gave some specs for them to make an estimate.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I found them online while looking at a few other companies based in India. Radixweb was the first group that got back to me so we set up a query, had a discussion, and I liked them. The pricing was also good, which led me to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $12,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2018, and still have them on the 40-hour retainer.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were in a predicament after my main developer left and we weren’t able to launch our product. Even so, Radixweb actually helped us reach the market quicker. It would’ve taken me another year to do it myself, but the return to market was much quicker after I used Radixweb.

I was happy with their work, and the relationship we had with the team was also really good.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed really well. They can analyze problems and come back with different types of solutions. We worked via Skype and emails. I could speak to the developer on Skype at any time, which meant it was easy to work with him, even though he was in another country.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their skill level was really good, as was communication. They kept me up to date constantly; telling me what they were busy with, what the problems were, and where they were in terms of progress.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can think of that they could do better. Most of the problems were to do with our lack of specifications, but they helped us get everything done.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Have a thorough specification and know what you want to do as it will make everyone’s lives much easier. If you have all the phases and specifications worked out, give them to the team, and you’ll even get the product back quicker.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb is honest and transparent, clearly outlining progress and meeting project goals. The project manager was incredibly organized and we developed a collaborative relationship. The final product was high quality and looked great.
"“They have great communication and an impressive project manager.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the operations manager for online products at Positive Purchasing, a consultancy firm and industry leader in procurement transformation. We combine expert training with effective programs and methods to deliver dramatic improvements to companies’ purchasing procurement negotiation outcomes. We do this through online tools, videos, and classroom trainings.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?
We needed a partner to integrate and redesign our Red Sheet negotiation tool so that it could be used by any device. We wanted it to connect to our academies’ user management system. In short, we needed someone to build a new negotiation web app.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked with Radixweb to build out our design, UX/UI, and project milestones. They did full web dev and also tested the final product. The app allows users to collaborate with one another and creates downloadable PDF reports with inbuilt intelligence to provide users with an explanation of how to negotiate effectively. Another key feature is that it was based on the MVC framework, and Radixweb used .NET, ASP, and Angular to build the product. They delivered the final product and we’re about to go online.
What is the team composition?
We had one consistent project manager through the whole project. In the initial phase, we had an architect project manager, senior leader, and graphic designer. For the main project, we had a developer, UI expert, and graphic designer. For the final phase, we had two developers working on HTML and the PDF reporting.
How did you come to work with Radixweb?
We initially wanted to hire them for a different project, but they rejected it, which showed they were honest and transparent. We looked at a variety of other agencies for this project, but Radixweb was the best fit, based on price, quality, and other factors.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $50,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from December 2017–October 2018.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We set three phases, each with roughly seven or eight clearly defined milestones. At the end of each stage, they’d hit our goals and met all expectations. The quality of their work was consistently good.
How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?
They managed the project well, retaining a bank of skilled resources to draw upon, if needed. The project manager was extremely organized and sent weekly progress updates. They found solutions easily and understood our needs, maintaining constant communication with our tech team. We communicated via email, Skype, and webinars.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have great communication and an impressive project manager.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We both could have been more transparent about potential project risks and problems. We developed into a collaborative relationship.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Meet them, involve them in your design brainstorming, and make sure to get a good project manager.

**The Review** — Apr 17, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb's phenomenal websites are easy to customize, which has helped the software company expand its services. Their communication skills are phenomenal, and they provide status updates during every stage of the project.
"“They built technically sound solutions that allow us to provide a wider range of services to meet our clients’ needs.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I oversee the operations of a software consulting company that specializes in solutions development.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We needed additional resources and expertise to help us develop websites using DotNetNuke (DNN) and Sitefinity as CMS platforms.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Radixweb was not involved in the gathering of user requirements, but they did assist in the requirements analysis process. They also worked with our in-house web designers to generate a wireframe of the UI, ensuring that the designs were compatible with the DNN and Sitefinity platforms. Once the website designs were completed, they moved on to the development and test stages. Final tests were deployed in a staging environment that supported remediation activities after the user acceptance testing had already been facilitated.

All of the sites have master pages that define the overall website, but users are able to edit content and make changes to the page layout. There’s also an option to display current events on a scrolling news ticker, which is an eye-catching feature for the end-users.

What is the team composition?

Their team was comprised of a project manager, a design lead, and several technical developers.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

They happened to contact us when we were looking for developers who had experience with Sitefinity. We went on to use their services for a smaller project, which we used as a trial to see if they would be a good fit for this project. We were pleased with their work, so we continued the relationship.

What is the status of this engagement?

They began working on the project in July 2015 and have worked on numerous projects for us since then.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They built technically sound solutions that allow us to provide a wider range of services to meet our clients’ needs.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager had a tech background, so he was able to guide early discussions and make sure that our goals were attainable. Their team had a waterfall approach to project management, which allowed our team to provide feedback and influence the pace of development throughout the entire process. They gave us a timeline with estimated dates of completion, but they were always flexible if we needed to prioritize a certain feature or make changes to their deadlines. We communicated frequently via email, phone, and teleconferences. They provided well-structured status updates, and they were always quick to clear up any of our uncertainties.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their diligent team is very conscious of deadlines and they always resolve issues quickly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Establish the roles that both of your teams will play during the project and maintain frequent and clear communication throughout.

**The Review** — Feb 14, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Customer-centric, Radix goes the extra mile to ensure success. The software fulfills all requirements, is easy to install, highly technical, and accurate. Its efficacy is based largely on their contributions.
"“When you work with a company on the other side of the globe, you have to find someone who is trustworthy. Radixweb is.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Global Emission Monitoring, an environmental software company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?
The government requires big industrial facilities with smokestacks to continually monitor air emissions and air pollution. We needed someone to build our software, the main product we sell.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built our software, which mathematically calculates air emissions from operating conditions and algorithms. It acts like artificial intelligence. Every big industrial facility has a central control system for monitoring its various settings. We can hook up to that and download all the information and determine air greenhouse gasses and hazardous pollutants.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager and a team of three or four people.
How did you come to work with Radixweb?
I did a web search for companies who specialized in building software. It’s a unique project, but we found some options that matched the complexity. I had three bidders, and they won based on price and quality. I sent them my request with the specifications I wanted and they returned with questions. We clarified some points and put together a proposal.
What is the status of this engagement?
We awarded the contract around October 2016 and worked through October 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re responsible for the building the product we sell. Everything we have today is thanks to what they’ve built. We’re going to enter another phase with them to make the product available on the cloud.
They did an excellent job and gave us exactly what we hoped for. It fulfills all our requirements. It’s easy to install, highly technical, and very accurate. It helps us know the environmental demands that large corporations have. The excellence that Radix provided is the reason it’s working so well. People are very happy and it’s doing precisely what we envisioned.
How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?
They were fantastic—kind, patient, and professional. We communicated through Skype conferences.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of the work and the professionalism of our project manager and team were impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m totally satisfied with them, and am happy with the quality of the work they provided. The only difficulty was understanding them over the phone. We only had to ask them to repeat things, which is natural.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When you work with a company on the other side of the globe, you have to find someone who is trustworthy. Radixweb is. They go the extra mile and are a customer-centric company.

**The Review** — Sep 29, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Efforts have resulted in 45% of users migrated to the new solution. Transparency and reliable communication are two key strengths.
""[They] helped produce a system that's quicker, lighter, and easier to use.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am a co-founder of eCAT, an electronic compliance tool which validates processes and performs audits on how systems and processes are running. The product has been operational since 2011, and can produce anything from a simple safety checklist, to a detailed analysis of steps in production.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

In 2016, we realized we needed to upgrade what we were doing. The product itself was still working fine, but everything else in the technology world had moved on. Five or six years is a life-time in the technology space, and we also realized we needed to look at foreign languages.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

RadixWeb proposed that we completely redevelop the technology instead of trying to retrofit the existing system. This would give us the benefit of bringing in all the new languages which had become available.

We spent roughly 8–9 months scoping mission, determining what we did and didn’t like about the old eCAT, and what we would and wouldn’t like on the new one. The closing stages of this involved fine-tuning reports, but the fundamental system is live. We’ve already moved some existing clients onto it, and we’re currently onboarding new ones.

The old apps had been written in PhoneGap, but they’re now native on Android and iOS. This in itself brings the obvious benefits of having a cleaner interface, being more robust, and operating more quickly.

The whole backend system upgrade took up about 80% of the overall redevelopment. It’s much stronger, and can be integrated much more easily.

We had nearly 40 types of reports in the old system, but we realized 80% of the people were using 20% of the reports. We brought the widely used ones into the new version and left out the others.

While there were certain functionalities in the old eCAT, getting rid of them proved to be difficult because a couple of clients liked them. We’ve managed to consolidate two or three functions for optimization purposes.

We ran another substantial project with one of our clients, Sodexo, who used eCAT to run hospital hygiene or health-level audits to determine how much the hospital should or shouldn’t be paying. Depending on the results of an audit, the system would generate an invoice for the hospital. It was a substantial piece of work, and it required scoping out from scratch. The only delay on this project was from Sodexo’s side, but the project still closed on time. This would have required a completely separate team if RadixWeb hadn’t worked on it.

What is the team dynamic?

During the project, the team peaked at 15-20 members. We had a whole new development team, as well as one maintaining the existing eCAT. It was brand-new technology, so the existing team wouldn’t have been up-to-speed on it. Now that the main development is done, the core team is down to about six people, including one man for bespoke work. These people now handle both the old and the new systems.

One of the people who worked with the old eCAT helped us with the scope of the new platform, including leading us through the development phase. The people involved in that team are still there, and the project manager from the old system is now the lead for the combined team. We were lucky to have all the people from the beginning still involved at different levels for the new development. Some of the old eCAT team moved on to different projects because they wouldn’t have had the same opportunities to learn new technologies while supporting the old system.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

We did speak to a couple of other potential providers, but by the time we understood the scope, evaluated training factors, and considered the system design, we realized it would be too difficult. We neither had the time nor the appetite, so we spoke to RadixWeb, and they came up with an open and easy plan to follow. They also offered transparency regarding both their resources and proposed design processes.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost of their work was around $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in September or October 2016. The heavy lifting was done six months later, followed by fine-tuning and onboarding clients. The system went fully live at the end of July or beginning of August 2017. We’re over halfway through the process of onboarding existing clients. I would hope that, by the end of October at the latest, we will have onboarded everyone who needs to be on it.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

RadixWeb helped produce a system which is quicker, lighter, and easier to get going. We’ve also managed to lower the cost of entry for a company looking to start using eCAT. There is a smaller upfront cost, followed by per-user, per-month licensing fees. We couldn’t do this before, so it’s been a big development for us.

The frontend is much sharper, and the whole thing operates more quickly. It’s much more modern than the old eCAT.

We’ve reached 45% of our target client numbers. We will switch one more client on in the next week, and, in terms of users, that will push us over to the 70% mark.

The tool being used by Sodexo is live and being used every day of the week, and, so far, we’ve heard no complaints.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

I would have liked to have the client transitioning done by now, but, to be fair, we will always get a few things that surprise us. Inevitably, there were a couple of brand-new clients who came in and said they would sign up to the new system only if we provided a particular feature. Unbeknown factors pushed us back a month, but I’m happy to say we finished on time, as advertised.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We really haven’t engaged with other developers at that level. We’ve worked with telecoms or other providers, but at a much smaller level. I couldn’t compare them to RadixWeb, simply because they were more plug-and-play CRMs. Any time we’ve spoken to RadixWeb, we received an answer. With other systems, we’d usually  just have to log a ticket and hope for the best.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could always be cheaper, but to be fair, that’s not really something they need to improve. I in India 2–3 weeks ago, and I worked with them for 12–13 hours every day. They offer good value for money, they’re decent people, and we get along very well.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Understand the scope long before going anywhere near a developer. Clients need to comprehensively study the product before even considering digitizing it to avoid migrating problems. In our case, we had an existing system which we converted into software. We were lucky with RadixWeb because they understood what the problems would be before we began.

Once we have an idea, I talk to programmers and get them to understand what we’re trying to do, as well as get them to come over and meet our end-clients. This makes the whole process easier as well.

**The Review** — Jul 19, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Things have only improved since the partnership began. RadixWeb communicates reliably and remains dedicated to project success despite complex scopes and challenging circumstances.
""They stick to the plan, do everything as expected, and document it well.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTO of a business that provides bespoke software to clients. About 80% of our solutions are out of the box, and 20% are highly customized according to client needs.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

Our main reason for working with RadixWeb is to get a higher throughput so we can execute multiple projects at the same time. They have helped us achieve that goal pretty well.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

RadixWeb helps us by implementing more agile project management and involvement. They took over on some of the communication with the end clients, which has helped a lot. They have also implemented new technologies that make them more efficient. Our business hasn’t changed a lot since we first provided a review of RadixWeb, since we’re still doing the same things as before. The goals for this year, in terms of collaborating with RadixWeb, was to have smoother transitions during the selling of sales and in execution of projects. We did this by implementing some new routines in terms of project management and their involvement. We began this transition in September 2016, and completed it within a couple of months. We’re now executing the projects in a more agile fashion, and on our side, we’re spending less on time management. I don't know how they do things on their side, but for me, it has become way easier to manage the projects. Also, the solutions we’re selling are becoming more and more mature.

How much have you invested with RadixWeb?

In the last year, I think we spent between $150,000 and $200,000.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I don't have any hard numbers, just more of a feeling. When my golf handicap goes down, that means that the productivity is going up. RadixWeb is still easy to manage, and they continue to perform well. I don't have any idea how they perform with other clients, but it’s easy for me and over the last year, it has become easier to execute projects. I don't have to spend as much time to stay on top of everything, because I’m confident they are on top of everything we’re doing. I don't think there have been any drastic changes since the last time I reviewed RadixWeb, except for the speed and the ease of mind that I feel about executing projects with them.

I’ve tried outsourcing to other companies, and I try to be a local employer, but that can't be recommended unless you're from India. I chose RadixWeb in part because they’re located in Ahmedabad, which is a more conservative part of India. I was kind of fed up with the hype that was going on in Delhi and Bangalore at that time. For me, it was important to get to know the guys I was outsourcing to, so for two weeks, I spent time chatting with the managers, owners, and some of the developers. Our relationship keeps growing, and they are professional and friendly. If things are not turning out like they’re supposed to, we can talk about it without anybody having to be afraid that somebody’s trying to take away control.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

We are in touch with their various teams at least once a week. Each project uses between 5 to 10 people, with a 50/50 split of juniors and seniors, but we don’t see a big split between the two. They’re all quite capable of closing that gap between knowledge and youth, if that makes sense. It depends on the nature of the project, and initially we were communicating with seniors, because they tend to be the project managers at RadixWeb. But when it comes down to implementing phases, it’s a mix of juniors and seniors where the divide is based on project management skills and execution. Sometimes our clients have certain IT systems that we need to integrate to which requires somebody to be present locally. Usually this would mean me, and I would find myself giving instructions to juniors and seniors at Radix. I only know if they’re a junior or senior because I know them, otherwise I wouldn't notice a difference. The leads have been pretty stable.

Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?

There’s not much RadixWeb can improve on, though there should always be something. Maybe if we double our size then we’ll have other challenges. I’m not sure if that will be with their end or with our organization. They are up to the mark, and we have been executing small and large projects with them that have been equally efficient. They don't bail on difficult projects, and always sticks to them while standing up for both us and the client.

**Feedback Summary**: RadixWeb offers constant, reliable service without nickel-and-diming for their time. Respectful and patient, they answer questions quickly and provide valuable guidance on the best technologies and design principles.
""They always treated us with respect and were patient when we struggled to grasp technical things."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Stigler Printing is a publishing, printing, graphic design, and mail services company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?
About three years ago, we were looking for an e-commerce platform that also had a design studio component for our printing business. We needed a platform where our customers could send us files electronically and we needed new customers to be able to find us, locate our products, access templates, and make transactions online. There were very few providers out there that we felt were able to do that on a scalable level. Radix had a good solution that was a good fit for us.
We have been very pleased with the partnership aspect of our relationship with them. There is no hesitation on their side if we ever have any questions or concerns. They are always continuing to innovate their technology. It is not uncommon that every couple of months there is some new feature, there is something they are pioneering or that they’re adopting to their current solution. As a vendor, that is important for us. Technology changes rapidly and we are able to ride that wave of new technology and introduce that on our site. I have not met anyone at Radix that wasn’t willing to do whatever it took to help us and they do take every question very seriously. They give you a real solid effort.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
This solution was built from scratch. This was a site to allow customers to order things to be printed.
Do you know what platform they used?
It’s a custom piece of software that they’ve created. What they have been willing to do, which I think is unusual, is to make an existing platform do what I want. Very rarely do they say, no, that can’t be done. Most of the time they will say let’s look at this and, nine times out of ten, I would say that they come back to me with the solution that I had in mind. I am talking about a modification to a particular module that didn’t previously exist.
They are willing to do customization to their own existing platform, and I think that is unusual too and is another reflection on how they approach their customers. In the past, working with different entities, they just say no we can’t do that. They box you in and you end up either settling for it or getting frustrated and feeling like it is time to end that partnership. That has not been the case with Radix. They always try to figure out and listen to what my needs were and gone to whatever lengths to create that customization that I needed.
Let me give you an example. I needed to have a module created that would allow me to email a proof of a design that a customer had uploaded or created to as many people as they wanted. They could send proofs, Separated by commas, in a shopping cart. There is no other printing site out there that allows you to send proofs from the shopping cart. But we needed it and, they did a great job of embracing that. That is really refreshing when you need something done. In the case of the email, we had a corporate account that needed it. And that was a deal breaker. If we couldn’t do it, they were probably going to choose another vendor. They were able to create that customization and we satisfied what was ending up being a long list of requirements in order to gain that account. They seemed to understand that if they couldn’t do it we would probably lose the account. That is another thing that you don’t see that often. No seems to really care about the bigger picture, which is the business of getting jobs out so that we can invoice and get paid.
What other functionalities did they put together for you?
From the standpoint of introducing video on our product pages, that was not a component. They made some adjustments to their platform that allowed us to have a video module on the product description page. They were able to modify the calculator so that it revealed itself. When you click on the calculator you will notice it reveals itself and shadows the back of the page. That was custom. The way the gallery images was something on their platform that they modified a little bit. There were probably 15 to 20 custom edits. Many of them were fairly minor, but they were different from their custom platform that they are trying to sell other companies like me. They were willing to make those changes no matter how small. From the standpoint of user experience, lots of the changes are tiny and they have to be made, because cumulatively they add up to a bad experience. They were willing to take care of tiny little edits that we felt like were important for our users.
How many resources have been assigned to your project?
There were at least four people working on our project. They have a great deal of structure when they tackle any project. We were dealing with a point person, who is the project manager, that would outline before the project begins. We recently went through a redesign and launched that in February. Before that project started, they clearly outlined the team. However, I was primarily dealing with one point person. On occasion, there was one more person, but they would reference other staff members that were working on it or that would be if a task was addressed or discussed. They would reference those other team members as being the ones that would be working on that.
Another thing they do a good job of is they give you very realistic timetables of when things are going to be done. I think that is really another important component for us in terms of the things that I feel like I need in a technology partner. I don’t care if it takes another two weeks as long as it takes two weeks. Don’t tell me it will be tomorrow and then it’s going to be two weeks. They are very fair and very realistic and honest in their approach. That is really refreshing.
How did you come to work with RadixWeb?
I found them through my online research. I looked at other firms as well. I felt like the sum of all the different ingredients included in Radix’s platform made sense for us. I was a little anxious about working with a company out of India. I had no experience in doing that. For anybody that hasn’t worked with anyone in India, it is a bit of a scared thought. If you are going to be successful in technology, you have to embrace every continent and find expertise where you can get it.
How much have you invested with RadixWeb?
Originally, the platform was around $10,000 or $12,000. Their service agreements are $1,000 - $1,200 a year. You get a lot for that. You can Skype a representative there anytime, and you’re going to be getting immediate responses from them. There is ongoing training that they are providing. They don’t tell us that we’ve exceeded our agreement with them and they are going to charge us more. They don’t nickel and dime. I worked with agencies in Manhattan and the West Coast who want to eat up your retainer and they don’t care if they give you anything. When you do ask them for something, they are going to quickly burn through that and they are going to say you need to pay more money. That is not the case with Radix. I Skype with them three times a week, spending up to 20 minutes with them. That is a significant commitment. It’s a good value from that standpoint.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in 2013. Our entrance into what we are doing now is very different from where we started. The learning curve with the admin panel requires a strong discipline. It took me a long time to really understand it, and I am the owner of the company! And there are lots of things that I am still learning as I go.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We are in a rural area. It is a family owned business. We are old-school manufacturers trying to step out and become more of a modern printer and a modern publishing company. It’s the printing that drives most of our business. Those of us in printing that is going to be successful have to have platforms like the one we are getting from Radix. If they don’t, they are going to die off, and they are.
Our entire industry is collapsing. We are part of the industry that is aligning ourselves with native American tribes around the country who are growing and thriving. We are having some success and growing every year. Without Radix’s platform, there isn’t anything that I am aware of that is out there that is affordable to be able to continue to move forward in a modern way. We are fortunate to have them as a partner. If you have the courage to embrace their technology and embrace their culture and whatever comes with that, you have a chance. If you are in our industry and you don’t, you are going to die along with everybody else. We accept that challenge. Thank goodness we have Radix there with us, and they’re willing to grow with us and guide us and at a very affordable price when you think of what you can spend. In six months, you can burn through $100,000 on a custom website. In case of Radix, I’ve never felt like anything I’ve ever paid wasn’t really worth it. I don’t hesitate anytime I’ve ever gotten an invoice from them.
You just don’t get that in the States. Everybody’s so far behind in terms of technology and those that think they know what they are doing, don’t know what they are doing and charge ten times more than they should. I have become pretty bitter about having to wake up guys in LA to work on my stuff and ten minutes after our conversation, I get a $3,000 invoice and they haven’t done anything. That kind of thing is rampant. I was talking to a friend of mine that has got a team in Bulgaria and a team in the Philippines and he is doing some pretty interesting stuff. He told me he’s done with teams from the States. My brother-in-law is one of the lawyers at TI and I asked where they do their development. He was telling me countries; none of it’s done in the States. I didn’t know that in 2013 and if you’ve got the compacity to expand your mind and think outside this country, and if you can partner up with someone like Radix, and really take it seriously, you may have a chance.
How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?
They always treated us with respect and were patient when we struggled to grasp technical things. Their key top-level people have strong language skills, which helps. We could carry on a conversation with the main sales people, and you are not really struggling to communicate. They have some other staff members that really do everything they can to communicate as effectively as possible. They do write very well, so a lot of communication is through Skype. They do lean on their other team members if there is a language barrier. They are not as strong in that.
What did you find most impressive about RadixWeb?
The main thing I really appreciate about working with Radix is they have a great deal of respect. Working in technology, working with vendors, different parts of our country, or even overseas, it’s a big thing for us to make sure we have a partner that we are working with that we can always work on common ground. Our business is manufacturing. Technology is something that we are constantly trying to embrace and adopt and there is a learning curve always associated with things that are new and they have a great deal of patience and respect for us as we try to adapt. That is really important for us. We really have to have technology vendors that are able to be patient and work with us and Radix has done a great job of that.
We are still figuring it out, but it’s starting to get a little easier. Naimish [Patel, Senior Manager] was the first person I worked with. I want to help them any way I can. It does pay back because those guys don’t forget when you help them. That is also rare too. They really do appreciate everything you do. Something like this review means a lot to them. If this helps them and strengthens my relationship with them, it is time well spent.
Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?
I am not aware of anything that they are not doing for us. Anything I ask for, they’ve given me their best effort in trying to help answer that question. You just get a really good feeling when you are working with them that they are trying to help you. I don’t have any billing issues with them. I’m have never had any issues with not being able to communicate with them. I have never had any issues with not getting a high level of respect. They have never not done what they said they were going to do. And they are innovative. People say that you have to tell people in India what to do. I don’t think that is the case in my experience with them. I think they are innovative and they do try to be creative in their approach to try to solve things. If you provide a little creativity and little guidance, they meet you in the middle and they accomplish what you need.

**Feedback Summary**: RadixWeb engaged intellectually with the project, especially when it meant challenging assumptions. Updates are regular, deadlines are rarely missed, and budgets are always respected.
""They studied our specs carefully, pointed out any mistakes, and asked the right questions.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a digital agency focusing on online business advertising. We handle everything web-related, from small websites to bigger ones, and web-based applications that serve as online databases for customers. I am the technical director of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

Our latest project with them was for building an application that forwarded Bluetooth data to an online database.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Our first project with RadixWeb started five or six years ago. We were making security updates on an online training platform for a consumer-goods customer. They took legacy code and fixed issues with it. The following project was for migrating that platform to a new server infrastructure.

Our requirements have differed from one project to another. RadixWeb gave us recommendations on how to set up the teams, in terms of developer types and how many project management resources we needed. We followed those recommendations.

Our Bluetooth app was built using three people at peak capacity. The other project was bigger, but I wasn’t involved with the team directly.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

They responded quickly when we had a need for developers for our Bluetooth app. We looked through our inboxes for emails from development companies and wrote to RadixWeb. They also had very smart questions during the initial conversation, confirming that they were actually thinking about the project. Thirdly, RadixWeb’s pricing was very competitive. We considered two other companies, one from Ukraine and another from Kosovo. We also looked at using our own development team, but we are not experienced with this type of application.

How much have you invested with RadixWeb?

The cost of our Android Bluetooth project was around $5,000. The other project had about the same cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first contact was in December 2016. The start of our latest project was in January 2017.

We have two other projects on which we’ll collaborate with RadixWeb, after getting the go-ahead from our customers.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The application was made for a Bluetooth device manufacturer. They’re only using it internally for testing certain data needs related to the cloud-based server. We sent an APK file which allowed the client to install the app on their device, and it’s not publicly available. The customer is happy with the app, and they want to further improve it by adding more features.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

The work was done within our agreed-upon time and budget. I couldn’t speak about what happened behind the curtains on RadixWeb’s side, but I’ve been happy with their performance. I chatted with their project manager via Google Hangouts daily or even more often, and was given updates whenever a new feature was completed. I could install the latest version and check it on my own device, which was good. RadixWeb has been very responsive whenever I sent them a message, and the overall communication was very good.

What did you find most impressive about RadixWeb?

I want to emphasize that RadixWeb has been very thorough with my requirements. They studied our specs carefully, pointed out any mistakes, and asked the right questions. This happens rarely since most outsourcing companies simply promise that they can deliver a project, without asking any questions.

Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?

We have many different contact people for RadixWeb. For me, it can be complicated at times to distinguish between their business development manager, the account person, the project manager and so on. As soon as the project started, I was assigned a single contact person, which worked very well, but, before that, I had email exchanges with many different people.

**The Review** — May 5, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Assigned resources listen closely to feedback, and suggestions are included in product iterations. They're also willing to rapidly address issues when upgrades conflict with custom features. An important area for improvement, however, is their upfront QA and debugging practices.
"“They really respect our feedback and tend to add it in future releases. They take it to heart.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We're a privately held organization that’s family owned and operated. Our company provides print services on various platforms and online photo books. We have multiple locations in North America. Each branch is individually run by a manager, somewhat like a franchise operation.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

The first time we hired Radixweb was to help support our internal needs for online services for customers. We wanted a solution that we enable our branches, allowing their customers to order print related products.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their original solution they offered designed for location. We needed something a little more complex to be able to open up the solution within our branch system. The first step was conducting an audit of the existing software and make it a multi-site solution, this is where Radixweb help customized the platform. We put our scope together, and they came back to us with timelines and their proposal. We were introduced to the team members that would support us with the project. Once we agreed to move forward they assigned us to a project lead.
One other solution they help us with is our online photo book website called Elephoto.ca. We wanted to rebrand and upgrade our existing B2C Elephoto website, (a subsidiary of our main business). This is an entirely different project which happened to crossover the same timeline as our other bigger project.
As we had two entirely different projects moving at the same time, we were assigned to two different teams at Radixweb. Initially, we would discuss it with the Managers of the team, and then the day-to-day interaction would be with the project lead. Although we do connect with the Managers from time to time. Doing so reassures us that everything is always on track.
How did you come to work with Radixweb?
We did some research looking for a solution, this led us to Radixweb. We needed a solution that was scalable because of our multiple locations across Canada; they seemed to fit our needs. They also had a great licensing model. This allowed us to share the solution with all of our branches across the network.
How much have you invested with Radixweb?
From the time we started working with them, we’ve probably spent around $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our first contact with Radix was about four years ago when we initiated a small project. As bigger projects came to fruition, we connected them again. Our biggest project to date was kick started about a year ago. We are now in the process of launching the solution within our branches but always in constant communication on improvements. We are still actively producing new features for the product. Things can get really complicated towards the end of the project cycle, as we deal with so many different variables with our customers and scope does tend to creep from day to day. This is where continuous improvement to the solution is very helpful.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Launching these sites to our customers has helped us generate revenue. It's still early on as far as the launch of the website, but we're slowly seeing some customer engagement, utilizing the site to their benefit, which is great. The solution can save a lot of time within the branch systems. For example, customers can go online and order business cards directly. Prior to the solution, our customer requested changes by sending a document with all the changes they’d like to see. The branch then would make edits/changes and send a proof to their customer. Radixweb’s solution alleviates that big step. It also works for situations where the customer doesn't have the design skills. A template can be created for the customer. The customer can then populate information from drop-down lists, once they are happy with the look via preview or proof, they can add it to their cart and order. It saves time and money on both ends.
On the photo book website, we had initially gone with a different platform. We needed quite a bit of customization on the website to work with our existing platform. It had to communicate with our standard operating procedures and frontend systems. We did a lot of customization, and doing so made our software un-upgradable. Radixweb has helped us upgrade software while we requested new features. They're very hands-on; it’s a difficult task to upgrade any customized software, but Radixweb is always willing to do what they can.
How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?
I have daily contact with them. The one challenge is the time zone difference. It's a ten-hour difference, so I only get them for a couple of hours a day. I do have daily connections with the project lead. It's amazing how available they are during the night hours in India. If there's something that we need, they answer any questions throughout their day. If we request a meeting in one or two days, they're very responsive and make an effort to have a group discussion or an online meeting. They're very responsive in that respect.
What did you find most impressive about Radixweb?
They really respect our feedback and tend to add it in future releases. They take it to heart. Sometimes, we have a request for a feature implementation and they're not currently able to fulfill it. In these cases, their team discusses the issue and includes it in their future scope. If they see it as a valuable feature set, they will definitely start development on that. In the following release, we see the implementation that we requested. It goes hand in hand. We also do a lot of testing. There are bugs, of course, but it goes back and forth and seems to work together in that respect.
Here’s another example. Most of their current platform is based on Flash, which is slowly disappearing from a lot of people's development because of how Adobe killed off the platform. We did request HTML5 versions of the software. Within a few months, Radixweb started developing it, agreeing that that was the way to go and that was the future. They're always excited to show us what they have in development. Just recently, they showed us their HTML5 platform. We then gave them feedback, going back and forth on how they can improve upon it. It's a good partnership in that respect. We're all for better solutions and better and easy to use software, and compatibility is the main concern online.
Are there any areas Radixweb could improve?
There is always room for improvement in any situation. We do see a lot of bugs that arise. Understandably, the majority of the bugs we see are mostly directly associated by the fast, quick to implement work. If anything, maybe Radix should hold back on releasing code and have better quality control within the departments. However, I understand it's a give and take between speed and implementation. Unfortunately, we do sometimes feel like a beta tester more than a customer. The advice I would give to Radix is to just take more time before presenting the solution. Perhaps better quality control too, because nobody likes to deal with bugs.
What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Radixweb?
When contacting Radixweb for a solution, it is a good idea to come up with a project plan or project scope to support your needs. Document it with as much detailed information as possible. Use imagery when showing a proof of concept whenever possible.
There are times when we need to talk directly to the team regarding errors or bugs. Typically we try to log as much information as we can. I highly recommend video capturing any issues you are facing. Doing this has helped us immensely when communicating the issues. Documenting logs of what’s been implemented and/or fixed is also a great way to keep on track and focus on improving the platform. We found that giving our undivided attention a couple of hours a day has also helped. One to one communication (live chat) is limited due to our overlapping working hours.

**The Review** — May 5, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: RadixWeb is a polite and professional team. The team readily overcomes common offshore barriers through meticulous attention to detail and an uncompromising work ethic.
""They were very easy to work with and in tune with what I had in mind.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We provide writing content and partner with someone who can also create websites and help us with other publishing materials. I’m the owner.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

I had a website that needed to be updated. I hired a local company initially, and I wasn’t in love with the results. I couldn't find somebody initially who had the same vision, and the features didn’t flow as well.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They built a completely new website for me. The old one couldn’t be salvaged. It had some issues and had been hacked. I just wanted to go in a whole new direction. The new website added brand new things that made it ten times better than the one I had. Even though I thought I liked the other one, this one was night-and-day better.

The portfolio feature was really big to me. Previously, I only had a link that would take you to it. They were able to capture an image of certain things that I had done like websites and newsletters. We kept some of the basic ideas, but the functionality and the flow, the way it would jump and move, it improved the look of the website from a nice, intermediate website to a truly professional looking, finished product.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

I heard about RadixWeb from another person. They steered me in that direction and were able to help me with what I had in mind.

How much have you invested with RadixWeb?

I do want to be upfront and say this was the one area they asked me not to give any information. They would prefer that I not quote the price.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working sometime around last summer. The website is concluded. That was in the last six months. As far as I know, I pay GoDaddy for hosting. They set it up so that updates and things run on it, so that I don't have to go in and manually do them as I did previously.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

My impression is I was just really blown away. Like I said, I liked the initial website I had, but it was a little bit older and had a hacking issue. It was like sour grapes or something—you're ready to go in a new direction. I am very proud of the look that I have now.

For the previous website I had, I had to go in and do manual updates on it. It required me to be a little more vigilant and hands-on in maintaining the website, which was a little bit of a drag because that wasn't entirely what I had in mind. It wasn't hard; it just was a little bit of a timeline. I have not had to spend any time worrying about or doing maintenance on the new one. It has made my life easier in that respect and given me some more free time as a result.

I will be honest with you: a lot of the work I do is word of mouth. I don't really rely on my website for getting business. But I did have one out-of-the-area client ask me for a resume or CV, and I said, "Please go look at my website. It has links to all my work. You can see a lot of what I've done and use that as a reference." That was the one time that I used it in that respect.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

There was a lot of back and forth. I provided them with some initial ideas, and then they sent me some template ideas, which I would respond, "I really like this, or I want to change that." They were very easy to work with and in tune with what I had in mind. At the very beginning of the process, there was a Skype call about the overall project and the contract. Otherwise, we communicated by email.

What did you find most impressive about RadixWeb?

I'm not sure my other options are a great comparison. The old website was a little more static: very basic backgrounds, black bars on the side, limited pages. For the new website, I love the feature of setting the page names at the top. Then if you click on it, rather than it taking you away to another page, it scrolls you down the page, which was not a feature that I had before. I thought that was interesting. There's movement on the page where things scroll. Again, a newer feature on newer websites, and not something I had before. When you get to the actual section, once you've scrolled down, if you want to see more, there's an option to go and then click to that specific page. Those were all changes and things that I liked compared to the website that I previously had.

Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?

I would say for the English-speaking audience or clients, there’s an accent and there are some phrases that sometimes take a little back and forth. Sometimes they'll have a phrase that they use and it doesn't immediately click as how you understand it in English. It doesn't make it difficult; it just requires a little more explanation. But I found them to be beyond polite and enjoyable to speak with via email, which you don't always get with American clients.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with RadixWeb?

I think the one thing that I wasn’t aware of initially was the substantial fee associated with wiring money overseas to pay them. I've never done that; maybe other American businesses are used to doing it. It was a little bit of a time-consuming process at the bank to do it. It was a very small thing, but it's a helpful thing to know that it’s going to cost you $50 or $60 and you are going to have to go spend 20–30 minutes at the bank getting a wire transfer done to a foreign country. But beyond that, there were just little, different things that I hadn’t experienced with a previous website designer.

**The Review** — Apr 18, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Both e-commerce sites achieved strong rankings in Google Analytics, boosting organic web hits through enhanced SEO. RadixWeb’s deadline-focused workflow, transparent costs, and attractive designs continue to drive the engagement’s success.
""They kept us very well informed on project milestones and progress.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Pharma Alliance Group distributes pharmaceutical test equipment worldwide. We also have a division of accessories and supplies for the same type of industry—in this particular case, for the solution testing that we run it under, LabECX.com. I’m the owner and founder of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

RadixWeb did both our Pharma Alliance Group and LabECX.com websites in order for us to promote our line of products, primarily the e-commerce site for LabECX.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

The first website built was for corporate. Pharma Alliance Group’s website is for the division that only handles the pharmaceutical testing equipment. LabECX.com is the other website that serves the industry for OEM [original equipment manufacturer] consumable sites.

RadixWeb had several departments based on the work that was done. For example, for the first website, there was a team of graphic designers that created the banners and manipulated the visuals. There was another team that put the database in place for it to work properly on the website. I’d imagine they had several teams of engineers and expertise in order to accommodate the project needs.

The banners are the visuals on the front page of the website, which in most cases are really what attracts customers. The banners were very well made and specific to what I was looking for. As a matter of fact, we are contemplating going to a second phase for that particular website to enhance it even more. That’s something that I am going to be doing in the next month or so, and we are probably going to be doing a third project.

For the second project, I was only working with one or two people. One of the biggest highlights I was very happy with was the e-commerce capabilities and how the product shows on the website. It has a lot of different ways of bringing it to the eye of the customer. RadixWeb added more flexibility to how people pay. In our case, people can go with Visa and American Express, but we added PayPal, which has been very convenient for some customers, especially for international people who don't like to put credit cards all over the place.

As a matter of fact, I'm actually more excited about the second website than the first one primarily because of the functionality and the skins of the website itself. I like it way better. There are so many themes that you can choose; if you happen to choose the wrong one, for whatever reason, that's really no reflection on them. It's actually the person who chooses it, which in this case was myself. That's one of the reasons why we are trying to go into another phase: to enhance the first website with a better theme.

From time to time, I had more interaction; but, I primarily had one person who was in charge of the whole project. Everything was fed to that individual, and that person would put my questions or requests into the right place.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

I found them by searching online. They were the only company I contacted. I rolled my dice and happened to be one of those lucky customers that landed on a reputable company. At the beginning, I was skeptical because these types of companies won't touch your project until you send money. Once you send the money out, many companies disappear, and you never get the product. In my case, for example, they’re actually holding over $1,500 in my account that is ready for me to spend. But, I feel very comfortable with them.

How much have you invested with RadixWeb?

I've spent at least $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together late 2015. It is ongoing. Our stuff never ends. Once we get through one task, we'll probably come up with another. It's constant work. That's one of the reasons why they have extra funds in place; whenever something comes up, they can jump on it and not have to wait for any money.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

One of the things that are quite enhanced, which is really interesting, is our SEO. Google Analytics is one of the hardest things to accomplish as far as getting organic hits. The SEO portion of the software that we chose is very good. Compared to some other experiences we've had with SEO, this one happens to be very nice. I can punch in any of our product part numbers, and we come out with flying colors. The SEO and the enhancements that RadixWeb has done have worked extremely well for us because we get a little bit more traffic.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

We always hit deadlines. The times where we've been delayed were because of me. They have a project summary system in place with weekly reports every Friday that gives the status of the project itself. They kept us very well informed of the project milestones and progress. They let us know the percentage of what has been done, what's in progress, what's been concluded, and what’s pending.

What did you find most impressive about RadixWeb?

It’s their honesty. When you're working with an overseas company, you just have no idea who they are. For $1,000, even if it's a small amount, you could never see it again. But, this was never the case with RadixWeb.

Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?

I'm not a developer, so all I can do is share my thoughts and ideas of what I think would be good. They will say, "This is a good idea," so that they don't hurt the customer's feelings. I tell them, “I want you to give me font #2 here," but no one can read it. They should come back and say, "This font can’t be read. I think you should make it font #6." At times, they didn’t review the outcome product in the views of an expert who developed the software, which would have allowed them to give us better feedback. That's one of the things that happened with the Pharma Alliance Group website.

A lot of it is really no reflection on them. I should have come back and said, "This is blank, or this has a line that is not supposed to be there." In other words, they let the customer take a look at it and tell them what's wrong. In that aspect, they should spend more time reviewing the website themselves before they give it to the customer for them to take a look at it. I wish they would try to identify what's wrong beforehand, and then go to the client and say, "Here are the things we identified. What do you think?"

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with RadixWeb?

Be a little bit more in contact with them. Stay on top of their weekly reports and ask more questions. In my scenario, we run a very small operation. As the owner, I'm the one who handles everything. This is not a reflection on them; it’s more of a reflection on myself. I can see the difference in performance, looks, and navigation capabilities from one website to the other. I was actually more on top of the second website because I neglected to ask them to look at it as well. All of the faults that are on the first website happened because I didn't get a chance to get to them, compared to the second website.

#### Multiple Dev Projects for Technology Firm
**The Project**

**Feedback Summary**: Stakeholder and end-user feedback remains overwhelmingly positive, especially concerning the UI/UX. RadixWeb took the time to understand the business goals behind each app before development began, which isn't always the case with offshoring.
""Their response time is excellent as well as the availability to resolve issues on the spot."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the technology and development manager at an IT company. I’m responsible for the implementations, stability, and development of ongoing enhancements or additional features of our applications.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?
What we’ve done is we built customer apps or software with RadixWeb’s help on software development and support. Based on requirements that I needed or on specific client needs, I’ll get a scope from RadixWeb based on a brief that I provide and they would try to give me a solution based on the need at hand. That’s the relationship in a nutshell.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve worked on multiple projects, ranging from online web apps to mobile app development. The first app was along the lines of point of sale tracking. We built a technology to track the entire chain of assets in trade in terms of design distribution production and execution. We built an app to track the entire process using a mobile and web app, so we provide access into that.
The second app was a financial system where clients have the ability to calculate savings and a benefit tracker. They’re responsible for high-end calculations that sit at the backend of this app, where you can plug in figures on live items. It would automatically calculate savings so that clients could essentially see what benefit our company offers based on the savings or results that we offer.
The last app was a supplier platform. Our suppliers can log into the system and view the overall order activity based on the stuff that we’ve placed for them. RadixWeb has managed all the apps that support our suppliers, as well as our clients, and in addition gave us access from an admin point to view exactly what’s going on both ends.
How did you come to work with RadixWeb?
I did have quite a few other companies that have approached us. But Milan [Shrimali, Business Development Executive] from RadixWeb gave me a call two years ago mentioning what they currently do, and we were indeed looking for a solution. To be honest, we gave RadixWeb a try with a smaller project to see if they’re capable of handling software development. It was a project that was due between some ridiculous timelines. That app needed to hit the market in three months, and we had no sight of what their current client base or their reputation in the industry. We gave them a chance with that one app, and they actually delivered within the three-month timeline as we required. Based on their ability to deliver on the project, giving us a holistic overview with the project timelines and meeting our expectations, we started building a long-term relationship with them.
How much have you invested with RadixWeb?
We have spent about 3,000,000 rupees [~$47,000] with them over these past two years.
What is the status of this engagement?
We have had a working relationship with them for the past two years [since 2015].

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We get a lot of feedback directly from the clients we support. There is not much feedback from two of the apps because we developed the apps and passed it to our operations team. But in terms of the one app that I’m actively dealing with at the moment, the feedback coming from our clients is that it’s a pretty slick app, looks good, and delivers what it’s meant to. We haven’t launched it in a live workspace yet with those clients, but we are checking all the right boxes in terms of RadixWeb managing the app development on our side. It’s been quite a successful relationship—we’ve actually taken to market three of the apps that they developed and they have been successful apps.
How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?
I think it was actually quite good. There weren't any misunderstandings in terms of the briefing sent to them, so they handled that quite well. There have been some follow-ups if they needed more clarity, which is quite fair. With any software development firm, understanding the client’s needs over a call is not an easy task, but they seemed to make that process quite efficient and smooth in meeting our needs.
So in terms of the team involved, we would deal with a business analyst and a developer. We communicated over Skype, so we used conference calls quite a bit with RadixWeb. They would then delegate what we discussed to their team. We’ve only ever had one channel of communication with a project manager. I’m assuming that they manage their resources quite effectively on their side. Everything is remote. It’s not face-to-face, as I haven’t met the team at RadixWeb yet.
What did you find most impressive about RadixWeb?
RadixWeb is the first and only company we outsourced development to, so it would be quite difficult to compare them with someone else based on the same line of projects. What I could say is my working relationship with them compared to local suppliers is that they’re quite responsive. Their response time is excellent as well as the availability to resolve issues on the spot. There’s no waiting period. I manage a quite large team that heads up these projects and I look at it from a very high-level perspective. But if I were to request at any given time for them to give me a detailed overview of the activities on a specific project that has taken place—a collective view of all the issues that an app is currently undergoing or has undergone, or the overall status of what my team is doing versus what’s RadixWeb doing on their end and putting both pieces together—I find they’re relatively quick to pass on that information. In addition, there’s the finance overview. If I were to request a full update from the time I initiated a project until today, including the SLA feedback, I found that they were exceptionally good on passing that information without having to wait for feedback or encounter delays in terms of misunderstandings. They’re quite transparent on that regard.
Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?
It’s difficult to try and highlight areas of improvement. To be honest with you, I can’t think of anything at this stage because we basically checked the boxes at both ends in terms of deliverables, etc.
What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with RadixWeb?
One of the crucial pieces of software development and technology is project management. If there was anything I didn’t pick up from RadixWeb, it was the ability to almost scope out a project to meet client expectations. If a client were to expect a brief on a particular project, they’ll expect for the timeline and deliverables to be almost immediate. What I found with RadixWeb is they would give you a realistic timeline but in addition account for all the scenarios or projects that might go wrong. I think that was one of the key benefits on their side—they would press in areas or ask questions that most clients wouldn’t have thought of. That has been absolutely crucial in terms of us going to them with a concept and scoping up what our requirements are. They ask the right questions to get us to think through different scenarios help us think of things that we have might not have. By asking those questions, they helped us add functionalities or address pressing issues early on in the project so that we could actually meet or streamline our development timelines.

""I felt confident in their skills, and the price was also good.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We are a technical development company working on data acquisition and training projects in the nuclear world. I am a manager within the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

We typically work with outsourced providers and are constantly looking for highly skilled ones. We needed to deliver an application that generated automatic drawings of nuclear fuel rods.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

RadixWeb developed our Windows 10 application. I don't know exactly how many people were assigned, but I can assume that RadixWeb had two technical and two management resources working on our application.

We made a very detailed specification document with about 50 different features. That was what we delivered to them and had them work on.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

From the beginning, I received very good feedback from RadixWeb's team about my technical questions and requirements. I felt confident in their skills, and the price was also good.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with RadixWeb in January 2016. The project was completed in December of that year, but we plan to continue working with RadixWeb. We are waiting for an order from our end customers.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t have a solution in place for this purpose. It was delivered from scratch, based on our requirements. The final application functioned properly. We are using it internally and are not deploying it to end users. RadixWeb has fulfilled our specifications 100%.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

The collaboration was easy to manage. We communicated mainly through email and Skype and had interactions once per week.

What did you find most impressive about RadixWeb?

It would be difficult for me to say since RadixWeb is the only Indian company I've used. Their competitors are located in Spain.

Are there any areas RadixWeb could improve?

We didn't identify anything surprising about RadixWeb.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We are a manufacturer of electronic inverters. I am the product communications manager. I was responsible for the proposals and project management related activities.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

Our new product range will integrate more web features, which is where Radixweb was involved. We want to offer remote control functionalities for clients' installations, as well as to implement data logs, notifications, and alarms for our products.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an original version in place, but it had been built using an older version of ASP.NET. Radixweb was brought in to refresh our website. They created a new interface as a first step. We are now working on the backend. Radixweb is building a custom solution using Bootstrap, CSS3, and ASP.NET Web API [application programming interface].

Radixweb assigned one developer, a QA engineer, a project manager and a business analyst to our project. Other resources contributed to the work as the circumstances emerged.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

We found Radixweb on the web, after issuing a request for proposal. The first reason for winning the project was Radixweb's price. They're much more cost-effective, compared to Swiss developers, but Radixweb is also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. They're very responsive and flexible, and the documentation provided by Radixweb was well-formed. It was very pleasant working with them.

How much have you invested with Radixweb?

The cost of Radixweb's services has been around $25,000 for our first phase. We estimate to pay $40,000 overall.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Radixweb in June 2016. The project has suffered some changes and delays, but Radixweb was flexible in this regard. This was our first project with Radixweb, but we plan to go further in the next phase.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our specifications were imprecise in certain areas, so Radixweb needed to interpret them. As a result, some features didn't turn out as we wanted. The overall results are good, though.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

In the first phase, the scheduling was okay. We discovered that some specifications weren't very clear and needed to make a few unexpected changes in the next phase. Aside from this drawback, the communication with Radixweb was clear.

What did you find most impressive about Radixweb?

The documentation put together by Radixweb for our project was very clear.

Are there any areas Radixweb could improve?

Clients need to make sure that they're very clear about what they want when requesting something from Radixweb. Otherwise, they can do the job.

**Feedback Summary**: The online system greatly increased the client base, improved visibility, and provides a valuable service to clients and agents. Radixweb delivers conscientious, dedicated project management and is responsive to deadlines and emergency requests. The team is preparing for a major database update.
""It is not unknown for them to work late in order to help in an emergency.""

**BACKGROUND**
Exclusive Healthcare is an SA [limited liability company] in France. The administrative center is in St. Raphael [in France] with accredited agents in France and the United Kingdom. Exclusive Healthcare is an insurance agency based in St. Raphael that specializes in healthcare policies for English-speaking people who have either moved to France, are planning to move to France, or who vacation in France. I have worked for the company since 2005. I am involved in the administration of the policies and have taken on the role of project coordinator with Radixweb.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
When the relationship between Exclusive Healthcare and Radixweb began, the aim was to be more visible and to reach out to our target market by providing up-to-date information on health issues relative to expatriates living in or moving to France. Importantly, EHC wanted to create an online facility to allow the purchase of complementary healthcare plans with immediate coverage. At the time, this was revolutionary in France. In addition, EHC wanted their agents to be able to issue policies and to access their client's information.

Radixweb was involved from the start, providing the means to achieve greater visibility and the online purchase of complementary healthcare policies in France. They created a client-based system accessible to our agents.

**SOLUTION**
Radixweb were engaged to provide the solution because they were highly recommended by an important player in the insurance world. We were a small company at the time, just setting out, and so cost was an important factor. This has been an ongoing project with Radixweb, which provides constant backup service and help to develop our database according to our changing needs. We are currently developing a new website that will be launched soon.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
The client base increased greatly during the first few years and this was due, in part, to the fact that we were more visible and able to give a good service to our clients and agents. With Radixweb, we are about to embark on a major update of the database, which shows that we are happy with them as our outsourced development team.

Through the years, we have modified and adapted our work strategy in accordance with our changing needs and staff. In hindsight, if embarking on a new project, we would spend more time determining our needs and certainly pay more attention to potential needs.

Throughout our working relationship with Radixweb, we have been allocated several project managers, all of whom have been extremely conscientious and provided us with a good service. It is not unknown for them to work late in order to help in an emergency or to meet a deadline. Quality assurance is dealt with both at our end and at Radixweb's end. The COO of Radixweb, Dharmesh Acharya, has been involved with the project from the beginning and has played an active role in the development of our database. We do not have anyone within our own company with IT [information technology] database development experience, and so we do rely on Radixweb to provide that for us.

""I need someone who will challenge my ideas, and Radixweb has been such a company.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

We are a small IT services provider in Denmark with a background in advertising. We provide custom web development, marketing software, and implementation of back-office systems.

What is your position?

I am the chief technical officer of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We have used their team's assistance in developing our software.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement.

We've worked on around ten different projects with them so far, spanning from a couple of weeks to two or more years in duration. They participate in both project management and the actual programming.

We work primarily with .NET and our work is mostly custom-built from the ground up. We build desktop web applications and focus less on mobile development.

Their team has ranged from 3 developers to 20, at peak capacity and including their testing and quality assurance people.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

We have multiple divisions within our company. One of those is a print broker which handles outsourcing our print work to other partners within Europe. We were looking for web printing software and came across a Radixweb solution called Web to Print.

I happened to be in Mumbai and was told about their company. Their headquarters were relatively close and, coincidentally, one of their sales reps was also in Mumbai. We set up a meeting and talked about their print shop solution. I returned to my office in Bengal, and we didn't talk about any other development opportunities. During this time, in 2007, Oracle, Google, and Microsoft were entering Bengal, which led to a shortage of skilled developers. Everyone was migrating to those gigantic IT companies. I concluded that it would no longer be feasible for us continue our operations there, but I also came to find that Radixweb was a very sound developer themselves. We started our first project in 2007 for our PHP-based print shop solution and gradually grew together.

Normally, when meeting with a new vendor, you'll be shown a bunch of PowerPoint presentations which are unlikely to leave out any buzzwords from the industry. Radixweb was quite different. They were down-to-earth and had all the standard certifications that come with their field, but what stood out was their project management ability. They were significantly ahead of other Indian companies. It felt natural to choose them.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The total development cost so far has been around $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Most of the software we develop will end up being used by 10-20 people at most. Our aim isn't to create the next Facebook, so we have no significant metrics.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

As an example for their ability performance-wise: we've worked on a project that was 80% complete when the client decided to move in a completely new direction while, at the same time, keeping the same deadline. Radixweb was able to scale up perfectly within a couple of days. The project was completed almost on time, with around 50% of the work being altered. It was a testament to their project management skills and to the architecture that was laid out at the beginning of the project. Scaling up on bad architecture is not achievable.

Normally, our projects don't go out of hand. This was an out-of-the-ordinary example. Radixweb does everything possible to keep deadlines once we agree on them. They keep track of all communication, and their project managers are good not only in giving a status of what they're doing exactly but are also great in communicating what they want from you as a client. There are companies that don't practice this communication, and it can be a huge surprise to learn that everything got delayed because you didn't answer certain questions.

Radixweb is focused on bringing deliverables and they acknowledge that finished work equates to the client receiving what they asked for. They ask the right questions at the right time and keep the client aligned. This has helped me when trying to get my clients up to speed on the current progress. Radixweb typically alerts me within one week of any event, and lets me know that we have to receive certain details from the client, which gives me the time to obtain them.

We use Redmine for project tracking, which is the main tool used by Radixweb internally. Coming from the advertising industry, it can be overwhelming to see such an extent of information flowing around. I use Jira with my clients and also use Jira Sprint Board when communicating with project managers. I've learned that it's always best not to interfere with whatever is happening behind their doors. Whatever tools help them organize should be allowed.

What distinguishes Radixweb from other providers?

Most of the other providers I've used have asked "How high?" when I said "Jump!”, which is not the ideal response. I need someone who will challenge my ideas, and Radixweb has been such a company.

Radixweb is one of the only companies I've worked with that has their own framework. They have 5-6 developers who do nothing else except for implementing a solid framework of tasks that are common to every IT project, like authentication, sending emails, and so on. When sending emails, a lot of processes come into play if the message cannot be sent out, which includes ways in which to handle SMTP servers that are not responding, or which are quarantining the email, and so on. Having all of this functionality built into one framework makes it tremendously fast to reach 80% of a prototype, when moving down the line. The system has been tested extensively, and the first build deliverables that we see from Radixweb are very good. Nothing is perfect in the IT world, but they are the closest we see to perfect.

We're also working with a different team. Any task that we give to them should ideally be described in minute details, down to the code level. They can deliver fine work, but don't have any backlogs of functions, whereas Radixweb has a very good framework that they keep developing. When we first used it, it was not as mature as it is right now. They've constantly worked on improving it within the last four years.

Is there anything Radixweb could have improved or done differently?

When executing projects that span thousands of hours, there will always be hiccups, and there will always be someone who falls out of line on the team. In Europe, we have a tendency of seeing Indians as simply Indians, ignoring the diversity that exists within their society. For example, we encountered a developer who said yes to everything we asked of him. In his culture, though, "yes" didn't always mean "yes". It took a while to realize that he was doing more harm to the project than moving it forward. It was eventually assessed internally, and he was replaced with someone else.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb has extensive and diverse knowledge of open source CMS technologies and offers a broad range of services, resources, and capabilities. Although the team can expand their focus to other departments and simplify security measures, they perform well overall and deliver quality results.
""They specialize in certain technologies but don't limit themselves to any single area.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

We develop websites based on open-source technology.

What is your position?

I am the general manager of the company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

I was looking for a partner knowledgeable in an open source CMS [content management system]. We wanted to be able to leverage their resources to complete project work.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement.

They have been involved in the visual design, UX implementation, and have done custom development. Radixweb also offers ongoing support and maintenance for the product.

Their team varies in size depending on the projects we work on. Typically, they assign us two to three developers, one QA [quality assurance] specialist, one designer, and one CSS/HTML developer. There were also periods when I only had one developer dedicated to my project.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I found four potential suppliers by searching online. I sent requests for information related to the project I was looking to work on. I interviewed the four candidates, and Radixweb performed the best out of all candidates. They had the most developers for the specific technology I was interested in.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The total cost for all projects so far has been in the area of $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together two and a half years ago.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

There are no metrics for us to share because we aren’t tracking anything. They deliver their assigned work and we review it. I’d say that, overall, we’ve been impressed with their performance.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They have performed well. They're below expectations with some tasks, and above expectations with some others. I use a time registration system through which I keep track of Radixweb's work. Whenever they approach 80% of the total agreed-upon time, I receive alerts. Other than this, we don't use any specific tools. We share files through box.com.

What distinguishes Radixweb from other providers?

They have a broad range of services. They specialize in certain technologies but don't limit themselves to any single area, in particular, thus giving me access to varied resources and capabilities.

My company is in the process of merging with another entity. They use different CMS technologies like Joomla, to which we will have to adapt. Radixweb's diverse knowledge will prove especially useful in this situation.

Is there anything Radixweb could have improved or done differently?

They could focus their attention more on what other departments are doing. The knowledge and communication of the products they can offer in other departments could be a point of focus.

Radixweb also has a lot of internal security implementations, which can make day-to-day work with programs and files difficult. On the other hand, it's good to know that they do have strict measures in place and that the documents I share with them don't reach unwanted places.

We are a web marketing company working for local businesses in Montreal. We also develop websites. We've been in business for three years.

What is your position?

I'm the director.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

When starting out, we needed a partner upon which we could rely for website development. We took care of the administration, but didn't have enough money for employing full-time web designers.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement.

They typically develop sites for us using WordPress, but we've also worked with DotNetNuke. They also handle image editing for banners and other elements for social media.

Radixweb has design and development departments, which are run by a project coordinator. We will typically interact directly with that person instead of the actual developers. They handle the requirements and design aspects.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I'd worked on PrintShop projects with them in the past. Ricoh had approved them to be an authorized supplier for the solution. We called Ricoh, and they highly recommended Radixweb. The credibility was there to begin with.

I found that they also did web development work, and decided to give them a try. Our first experience was great. Radixweb designed the business card letterhead, logo, and website for the customer. The speed and quality of their delivery were very surprising to us. We decided to continue our collaboration on other development projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've worked on at least a dozen projects together, and the work remains ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

I've never received a complaint from one of our customers. Everyone was satisfied.

I handle the local maintenance with customers. I then communicate the requirements to Radixweb, who work on making any changes. We never had any significant issues with them. Whenever something came up, they would take care of it very quickly.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

Their delivery time is very fast, and they're very efficient. This is the reason we continue using them, and I've heard that's not always the case when working with overseas developers.

We have a very good relationship with their product and business development managers.

We mostly communicate using Skype and through the phone. They've also created an email account for me that tracks all the projects we're working on. Whenever we need to transfer large files, I will use my own cloud service. Other than that, we use Word and Excel.

What distinguishes Radixweb from other providers?

Their flexibility and willingness to adapt to our changing needs really stood out.

Is there anything Radixweb could have improved or done differently?

The time difference is the main issue when collaborating with them. They typically start their workday when our local time is midnight. This is not their fault, of course, and has more to do with people in North America wanting to deal with offshore companies.

I've adapted by sending them necessary information at midnight. They start their work the same day, which means it will be complete in the morning, when I come to work. In the end, this is actually efficient. My recommendation to them would be to extend their hours by having some technicians available during United States and Canadian working time. Even so, Radixweb are available even until 10 a.m. local time.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb has delivered everything on time, according to scope, and within budget. The team goes above and beyond required commitments, even with tight release deadlines. They have a good understanding of the business logic and requirements, which allows them to provide the best possible solutions.
""Radixweb did a fantastic job to make sure that it was done in the right way.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

We are a software development company, and we only cater to the recruitment industry: human resources and payroll. We have our own software product, and we offer consulting services to recruitment and HR industries. In terms of size, we are about 60 people. Our head office is in Melbourne, Australia, and we have a sales office in Sydney, but most of our operations are located in Melbourne. There aren't many end-to-end products out there and, when I say end to end, I mean something that caters for full end-to-end recruitment business process right from hiring candidates to pay and bills. FastTrack is unique as FastTrack360 is a completely integrated recruitment, payment, and billing solution.

What is your position?

I work with FastTrack as the product lead. I am responsible for building and maintaining our systems. I work extensively with our clients and our CTO [chief technology officer] to build the roadmap of the product.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We were trying to rebuild a previously existing application, which was a client-server based desktop application hosted on in the cloud. Our existing application required a lot of maintenance and upkeep, and required a lot of expensive hardware to host and these costs were prohibitive for some clients to come on board. Besides, most of our clients wanted to move their services, data, and properties to the cloud. We were looking to rebuild our entire suite of applications using latest technologies and host everything in the cloud.

Are there any metrics or numbers that can quantify the challenge or opportunity?

I don't know if I can put any numbers as such, but it was quite evident that we were losing market share because we didn't have a cloud offering. We had competitors that had cloud offerings and most of our clients wanted a simple system where they can simply go to a URL, log in entering user name and password, and then are set to start using the system. Our old system was quite heavy in terms of installation and maintenance. We were losing market share, and our aim was to recapture our market share again.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement.

We had a large application in operation for the last 14 years. We had more than 600 clients using our current application. There were many functionalities that were added during that period. When we decided to go for a cloud offering, we decided to start from scratch and rebuild all our applications using one technology. Having a consolidated platform was going to be key. We decided to build our application in separate stages. We have clients of all sizes, some ranging from one to five users and others with nearly 2,000. It's a huge system catering to quite a bit of market, and our strategy was to rebuild it in phases.

Our first goal was to build something quick with which we could go to market. Our first target audience was a small user base with between one to 20 users. We were trying to build a system that could handle the end-to-end business of a small- to medium-sized recruitment company and then slowly, in future phases, grow into an enterprise system and bring in the rest of the functionalities for more demanding clients.

We worked very closely with Radixweb in terms of our design and architectural approach. Radixweb provided their framework and suggested an alternative architecture for our applications. Radixweb had good framework already built, so it made sense to use existing framework to build our products on. We had very aggressive timelines for phase 1 and wanted to go out to the market in six months with the whole product built from scratch, which was achieved with Radixweb. I won't go into the details about cost except we were happy with the cost and Radixweb ensured that they kept my project within budget. In phase 1, we had 15 developers at Radixweb for about seven months. We had a similar team for phase 2. We are now into phase 3 and into an ongoing development lifecycle. At this stage, we have various projects running with an average of between 12 to 15 Radixweb developers.

What software or technology did you select and why?

Before executing this project, we had a good idea that we wanted to build a browser-based system, and we were already beaten up by the whole bandwagon from Microsoft Silverlight. We had invested quite heavily into Silverlight in last three years building software within our own organization. Microsoft decided that they are not going to support Silverlight anymore. We discussed our issues with Radixweb as well as many other consultants in Australia in deciding the best technology to rebuild our application. After a lot of consultation from number of various stakeholders with Radixweb and in Australia, we decided to rebuild using HTML5 with an AngularJS Framework for the front end, and web APIs [application programming interfaces], and Microsoft SQL Server Database for the back-end as our technology stack.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

We had an extensive approach when it came to finding the right service provider. I had personally visited offices of about six different providers in India, Australia, and Sri Lanka and had spoken to a number of them. We did some pilot projects with a couple of them, and that was our strategy to find the right partner. We were looking for a service provider that could work with us as our partner and not simply as a vendor. There were a number of things that set Radixweb apart from others, but if I have to say one thing, I would say their ability to understand our business requirements clearly. I was surprised with how most of the vendors that I was speaking with were not able to understand what we wanted to achieve. Radixweb provided a plain, simple, and obvious solution and said, "OK, let's put a team together. Let's start building it."

With what parts of the project was the service provider involved?

Radixweb was involved with the initial architectural discussion. Then, they were involved in the design, development, quality assurance, integration, and configuration.

When was the project completed?

The project is ongoing, and it will be ongoing for a while. We still haven't finished it. As I mentioned earlier, we are doing in phases and phase 1 and phase 2 are now finished. We are into the third phase, and we have quite a lot left to complete.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics, metrics or user feedback from this engagement?

The project was delivered on time within budget, which is quite unheard of in the IT [information technology] space, but the guys at Radixweb did a fantastic job to make sure that it is done in the right way. Our main goal was to gain the market share back. We haven't quite reached that level yet, but we can definitely see that we are going in that direction. We now have a fantastic product that we are putting in the market. There is a lot of interest coming out from the market for this. We have a number of sales in our pipeline, quite a few clients have already gone live on this particular system and lot more are in a queue to go live. I won't share the number or the process, but in terms of efficiency, we have certainly been able to gain that market confidence and are well on track to regain market share.

Do you remain confident in the technologies used to build your solution?

Yes, of course. There is no doubt. Absolutely – no doubt in our mind. We have selected the right software, right technology and right partner. One thing I would say to anyone who likes to work with Radixweb, there are absolutely no doubts that they are fantastic guys. But, just like any outsourcing project, you will need someone to work very closely with Radixweb. This is true of any service provider, and it's fairly important that the goals are outlined very clear.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They have delivered everything that we had scoped within the agreed schedule and the specified budget. They were very flexible, and the team at Radixweb is fantastic. We had our fair share of release deadline pressure on few occasions, and I must admit the team worked extremely hard to get us through. When there is time to go above the regular commitments, they have always done so. I have no complaints.

What distinguishes Radixweb from other providers?

I haven't worked with many other service providers. I don't think I can compare my experience with Radixweb to my experience with another provider. I will reiterate the fact that they were very good at understanding the business logic and requirements we described. Having a clear grasp of our business definitely resulted in a better project experience and, ultimately, a more suitable solution for us.

In hindsight, were there areas in which they could have improved?

I believe there are always areas for improvement. I think what they could improve is with better estimates. Having said that, they were not too far away, but there were some instances when their timing or pricing was a little unrealistic.

How would you summarize your experience with the service provider and would you recommend them to others?

I'll recommend to others – yes, of course, I would say this without any sort of hesitation. It has been a great experience, a journey that I had never done before personally or as a company. All our development was always from Melbourne at our head office with our own team, and we went ahead with it by taking a step with outsourcing. It has been a fantastic experience. For the first few months when things were settling, there was some level of back and forth, but once it all settled and as soon as we started talking the same language after building some rapport with the project manager, things started working as expected. My experience with Radixweb has been very good.

**The Review** — Dec 10, 2015

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb has a broad range of technical capabilities and delivers high quality communication, reporting, and project management. Their methodology has doubled output and decreased costs by 30%. They have improved product quality, facilitated predictable costs, and improved access to certain skills.
""They are highly flexible and responsive and have provided a continuity of resources.""

**BACKGROUND**
We are a digital signage and place-based digital communication company focusing on the retail sector. We provide a full-service solution, such as design, hardware supply, installation, cloud-based digital signage management platform, ongoing support, and specialize in providing customized digital signage solutions for large retail networks. We are based in Australia, but support clients worldwide.

I am the chief technology officer, responsible for product strategy and development as well as overseeing technical operations.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
When we selected Radixweb, we were seeking a partner to maintain and develop our core digital signage product. This product is critical to our business as it underpins our primary service. We were seeking cost-effective and reliable maintenance capability, enhancement capability as well as capability to expand teams rapidly in order to respond to client-specific needs or undertake client specific developments. Key measures for improvement were in relation to cost effectiveness, responsiveness to customer needs, and platform reliability.

**SOLUTION**
Radixweb was identified by referral. They were selected on the basis of technical fit – range of technical capabilities to support our needs and range of technical services – quality of communication and reporting, quality management processes, flexibility, customer service, and cost.

The scope of the service is development and technical research. Strategy, design, and architecture is done in-house as is task prioritization. We continue to complement Radixweb resources with some in-house technical capability for R&D [research and development] and quality management. They have been engaged for 12 months and the project work remains ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Performance has been great. Compared to previous methodology – onshore development with in-house developers – our costs are down by around 30 percent while our output has doubled. Quality has improved. Costs are predictable while we have improved access to certain skill sets. They are highly flexible and responsive and have provided a continuity of resources. They have delivered everything that was expected on them.

As with any development team, quality varies between individuals, and this is something we need to be aware of in assigning projects and tasks and assessing time frames. Management of developer QA [quality assurance] prior to handing code for final QA, which we undertake in-house, could be improved.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb has increased growth by 30% per year, reduced the bounce rate, and increased average time on page. The team delivered a user-friendly website with very few bugs, which were quickly resolved. They are flexible, consistent, responsive to feedback, and can communicate in layman's terms.
""If you can dream it, Radixweb can put it together.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

We are a manufacturer of custom stationary products.

What is your position?

I'm the chief executive officer.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

We were looking for a website developer that could provide us with an online customization and personalization website for customers, so they could design their products online.

We had hired a domestic company to do that, spent $35,000 with them, and they could not give us a basic, functioning product. That's when we started searching for other companies and found Radix about five years ago. We delegated our project work to them.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement.

We started the development work again from scratch, basically rebuilding what we had built before with our other provider. They used an e-commerce space platform, and ours was a totally custom solution. We uploaded all the images and text, and they did the coding. We guided them along the way, but RadixWeb completed all the technical work.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

We found them online.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

We have spent about $40,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The initial project lasted for four months, and we usually get an upgrade from them twice a year.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The numbers really speak for themselves, and we have typically grown in the 30% range per year since we started using RadixWeb. Our bounce rate has dropped significantly and the average time spent on page has increased on average. On the other end of the spectrum, with regards to usability, it’s been great. We don’t receive bug reports very often and even when we do, Radix is able to correct them quickly for us.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

They're always within the budget. A lot of the time, we'll make a lot of changes on a project. They adapt to those changes and give us what we want.

They're always pretty much on the cutting edge of web development, and whenever they come up with an upgrade, we typically upgrade our website to reflect the new enhancements they've come up with. We were very instrumental in helping them conceive their design studio, to make it simpler for the customer. Each time there's been an upgrade, we've been involved in giving them the feedback from our own customers, and they have adjusted accordingly, and ended up passing that to their other customers, too. I don't know how many developers they use.

We've had the same project leader since the day we started. He is a terrific individual that has made our life a lot simpler. He may be in India, but we consider him part of our core team because we are very reliant on him, and he's been so helpful to us. As we find things in the process of the upgrade, we will send screenshots to them, which illustrate what we're looking for and what we want to change. We've shown them other people's websites and they've stepped up to the plate, and designed, essentially, what we're seeing at our competitors’ websites.

What distinguishes RadixWeb from other providers?

The key ingredient with them is that they know how to talk to you on a more personal level. We're not programmers, we have no earthly idea how to program. We will give them a concept in an elementary perspective. They take that idea and run with it. They don't overwhelm us with technical details; they simply get the job done and explain it in simple terminology.

They have a strong program built into their structure. If you want to summarize it into a couple of words, from Radix' perspective, nothing is impossible. If you can dream it, they can pretty much put it together.

Is there anything RadixWeb could have improved or done differently?

At first, we received a lot of work that had bugs, which made us delay the project, and things of that nature. But once we brought it up and they put in a quality assurance team that started going through the website thoroughly before it was presented to us, all that went away. We did not run into any bugs at all after that. If we did find anything, it was very minor. That's been a gigantic improvement. Outside of that, I can't think of anything that they could do to improve. What they have done three years ago has made them the ideal company for us.

**Feedback Summary**: RadixWeb excelled at handling changing project specifications. The team demonstrated expertise in a wide array of technologies. They were proactive at fixing mistakes and taking responsibility when tweaks were needed, and eagerly applied themselves to optimizing the team’s dynamics.

""Radix self-identified and offered solutions, which we felt were very fair.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

Visiun provides data analytic software and services to its clients.

What is your role at the company?

I am the chief technology officer at Visiun.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What was the business challenge that you were trying to address with RadixWeb?

Visiun wanted to take its industry-leading analytics solution and move it from a client-based application to a pure cloud-based solution.

What were your company's business goals for the project?

We wanted to have a solution, which our clients would recognize for the same deep analytics, yet looked like it was made for the cloud and was not simply a quick port of a client solution.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

This was a project hosted in Microsoft Azure environment. It involved a lot of SQL Server, C#, .Net, Telerik Controls, web services, and Redis Cache.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

We wanted a partner who was big enough to be able to pull in specialized resources when needed, but not so big that we would have trouble getting their attention. Radix has turned out to meet both of these points very well.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

We expect the project to take more than five years.

What is the status of this engagement?

Radix's work for us began in July 2014 and still continues. We have engaged them for additional phases of work during the last year. They have delivered on their commitments, and we have felt increasingly comfortable continuing to send Radix additional work.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

I do not have any obvious metrics to share, but Radix did deliver our cloud-based solution, which is now working excellently. We continue to enhance the solution with Radix.

How did RadixWeb perform?

RadixWeb has been excellent – showing expertise in all of the key technologies we needed: C#/.Net, SQL Server, Azure, Telerik controls, and ABCPDF. Our own fluid requirements have made it challenging at times, but RadixWeb has excelled.

What distinguishes RadixWeb from other providers?

When we felt things were not going perfectly, Radix was quick to agree with our assessment and was proactive in offering solutions, which we felt went beyond what was required. For example, early on, we felt that the four-person team was not delivering updates at a quick enough pace, Radix agreed and had come to the same conclusion. They removed one team member and replaced him with two others for six months – so 25% additional resources on the team at no additional charge. With some smaller items, Radix self-identified and offered solutions, which we felt were very fair.

In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?

I can think of no obvious things they should have changed. The resources allocated to the project were not always optimal, but the root cause was that we had changing requirements and priorities. Radix definitely did adjust as needed.

What advice would you give to a future client of theirs?

Give Radix good insight into your product plans. That will allow them to stay ahead of the curve in terms of lining up the best resources and offering suggestions on how to best staff and deliver.

This is not exactly specific to Radix, but still applicable: the more specific your requirements, the less likely you are to be disappointed. In most cases, when we did not get what we wanted, it was because we left our requirements at too high a level.

**Feedback Summary**: Radixweb consistently remains within budget and on time with all deliverables. The team completes service ticket requests within 24 hours and provides daily updates via Redmine. They foster a strong client relationship with a good understanding of the business and patience with the process.
""Their intuition on what we were trying to explain was a notch above other [vendors].""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

The name of the business is eCAT, which is an acronym for Electronic Compliance Audit Tools.

What is your position?

I'm a co-founder.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?

About four or five years ago, my partner had this idea about digitizing audits. By audits I mean, for example, health care audits and hygiene audits. Its processes that are ordinarily carried out repetitively on paper. He was doing these audits himself and, as it turns out, he was being paid handsomely to do them, but nobody was paying him to sit at home, doing all the reports and trying to figure out whether things were trending up or down.

Eventually, he had the idea of digitizing them, and he couldn't find tools out there to do it, so he asked me to get involved as a partner to help shape that entire project.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement.

The initial business from our perspective was all about shaping what we felt was the ideal tool to automate the task. What we wanted was to take that paper and clipboard and drop it onto people's smartphones or tablets. Back then, the main platform was Windows and, as we got going at it, we realized that technology changed quite quickly and that Android was the next thing. Then, of course, it was Apple.

Radix came up with a way of handling all that for us because to be honest we were quite computer illiterate, I suppose. We were relying on their guidance all the way through, as to how to approach it, and what platforms to build it on and whatnot. We've actually rolled it into something called PhoneGap, and PhoneGap translates to Android; not entirely, but it makes the process easier. We had the mobile app up and running, and then we developed a website to work in parallel with it.

The principle is that you would go to your hospital, clinic, or wherever you're doing your audit, and you do that on your tablet. You would then submit that, and it would go on up into the cloud. Then, the calculations would happen there, in terms of how it's performing today versus yesterday, or this week versus last week, or this branch versus another branch within the industry.

Between us, during the development phase, we would have continuously been guiding them as to how we wanted it to look and feel, and how we felt the user interface should be designed. Because they understood that if we're going to roll this out to bigger organizations, then training has to be absolutely minimized.

They had great patience with us, and we had patience with them. Between us, we came up with a system. The very first place we went to had 70 people, and we had them trained pretty much in 24 hours and ready to go. To us, that was a great marker of how the first launch went, and it's been really improving from there.

The back-end of the website – that's been an ongoing development process, and we're continuously trying to get the interface better for the end-users. Most importantly, it's the reporting structure and the mechanics around that. In other words, how those reports are distributed. They can be fired based on what we call alerts, which are triggered based on specific business logic. It could be something like a score is too low, or an inconsistent parameter, which requires somebody to be notified about it. The system takes that audit, reconfigures it, emails it out, and creates tasks. Now, you've got open tasks as a result of the audit. Then, other people can log into the system and close out those tasks, reassign them, move them, complete them, or whatever it is.

We wanted structures in place that allowed the full users, which might be auditors or super administrators, all the way down to what we call task closer, which is the kind of bare minimum. If you login as a task closer, you literally get your open tasks in front of you, and then you close them out. That's a little tour of what we've been about for the last few years.

We've got investment onboard, and we've been growing our business for the last four years, obviously. Right now, we've got quite a good number of what we consider blue chip companies using the system. Really, it's just about onboarding as in getting more people to buy into it. As we go, of course, and as various clients come on, if somebody wants something bespoke, and it's very bespoke to that client, they will pay for that accordingly. We set up a slightly separate system for them.

In the main, what we've tried to do is retain one core system, which every client has, and the clients that do suggest stuff that we feel is good for everybody, we put it into everything. However, if it's very bespoke to a specific client, then we just leave it for their particular domain.

Right now, we're working with a core team of three programmers. We have two clear product lines, and there's one programmer/developer on each of them. The third programmer is on the mobile product, and then we have a fourth guy who does all of the QA [quality assurance]. That's as small as the team has been. Sometimes, we take in bespoke work, and we bring in two extra programmers for that. At the height of the development project, I think there were 10 or 12 of them, but that was three or four years ago.

How did you come to work with RadixWeb?

We are not experts in all of this, but we looked at a number of potential programmers in Ireland, and also in the United Kingdom, but we found them to be slow in what they were offering and also very expensive. They were sort of estimating the project would take 18-months, and we just couldn't believe it was going to take that long.

Once we had screened through Ireland and the U.K., people here suggested that we should try India. We didn't really know where to start in India, so we just started combing through the web. We had 20 or 30 potentials, and we started making phone calls, and all that kind of stuff. We eventually narrowed it down to four or five providers, and I think the last three we actually met in person to interview and have demos.

Being honest, we wouldn't have had the wherewithal to say whether these guys were fit for purpose or not technically. We explained to each of these people what we had in mind, and we expected them to come back to us with a proposal of how it might look and feel, and how they would see it rolling out. We learned a lot from each and every one of those. Each of those meetings showed us, "Well, there's something we didn't know before or something we should consider for the next one." We did get some advice from friends and family. There was one guy in particular who did a bit of programming himself, so he gave us quite a few pointers of what to keep an eye out for, at the very least.

I suppose Radix seemed to tick more boxes than anybody else, but I think the final thing for Radix was that they had two guys, in particular, at the time on the team that just seemed to get it. I can't describe it any better than that, but they seemed to understand deeper and better than any of the others did. They were able to come back to us much more sharply with, "Well, this is what you guys are actually looking for." We were like, "Yes, that actually does make sense." Their interpretation or their intuition on what we were trying to explain seemed to be a notch above the other people we were talking to.

On price, I don't think they were the cheapest, but they certainly weren't anywhere like what U.K. developers might have been. Ultimately, that's really what it was, their intuition and what they brought to the table in terms of identifying what we really wanted. From having done the initial mockups and overview, and conversations with two or three other companies, we just thought they were a better fit.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

I can tell you now we're spending about $12,000 a month with them – that's right now. At the peak, there were a lot more team members involved, and we were writing things from scratch.

What is the status of this engagement?

The relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Because it was a kind of a rolling development, we didn't ultimately know what the final product was going to look like. We did have a fair idea in our own minds what it should look like, but as we got in with more clients and more customers, we recognized that we had to adapt it relatively quickly. There was quite a strong learning curve on our side. For the first while, in fairness to Radix, even though we tried to do it, we didn't really enforce too many of the KPIs [key performance indicators] that we had each agreed upon because, frankly, we were changing the goal post nearly too quickly for them to stick.

As we got more settled, we had more KPIs in there, and they were really more around client issues. We said that if a client has what we called a show-stopping bug, meaning they can't actually perform an audit, then it was all hands on deck, and that had to be fixed as smartly as possible. In the main, we've never gone down entirely. We never had a complete stop. We've had the bugs on the mobile app sometimes, but the show-stopping ones, we've nearly always fixed them well within 24 hours. From a customer service point of view, that was one of our biggest KPIs – that we wouldn't let anybody wait longer than a day, and we've got that locked down.

On the other side then, when we decide there's a new piece of work to be done, we tend not to put a huge amount of pressure on them because we want it done right. We would agree at the start that this change is going to take 10 days. It doesn't always come back within 10 days, sometimes it could be 11 or 12, but other times, they'd come in on seven or eight. That, to be fair, might also depend on what other bugs might have happened in the meantime. To measure it, if it's something we've often done, we do look at it month on month, but we don't really hold it there. It's not a carrot and a stick type of thing. We're probably not as standardized as we should be.

How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint?

We've never gone over budget, and we would be quite sharp on that, especially being a startup. We would lock down whatever the price of the development is, and they've never breached that mark. I can't tell you if they did it cheaper, but certainly they've never gone over the budget. In terms of time, it's always been there or thereabouts. It's certainly never been so far over that we had big issues. That's not been the case. Both on budgets and time, they've been pretty sharp.

We don't really use project management tools or bug trackers. I don't think we're big enough, we don't really have enough, although we do use Zoho. That's been more from the client-facing side. The tickets generated there are handled by our technical manager. The ones he can't fix, he passes on to Radix, and it's usually handled within a day. What sometimes happens is that a client says, "This isn't working," and when we look into it, we realize that it actually wasn't meant to work that way. It needs a change. Then, we go back to the client and say, "If you want this change, we'll scope it out, we cost it out, and then we'll come back to you." Then, we'd agree to those timelines at Radix, and feed it back to the client.

The main tool we use between Radix and ourselves is Redmine. The programmers are consistently putting updates every day of the week into that. Then, once a week we would have a Skype conversation with them where we'd agree whatever the objectives should be, give or take, for the following week. I do think that the Redmine tool could be used a bit better but, to be fair to Radix, I'm not sure that it's their fault. We probably don't enforce that enough. What I mean by that is that we tend to agree on a lot of stuff over Skype, and we do follow Redmine, but it's not like I would look into that every day of the week and see if they're ticking things off day in and day out.

Redmine could probably be used better in terms of tracking the order stuff, and the smaller fixes. They probably should be done a bit quicker at times, but again, I can't speak to when somebody else jumps in and says, "Here's an issue that we do need to move up the priority list, and have something else moved down." Rather than get bogged down explaining why something was two days late, we tend to take the good with the bad. If it is two or three days late, chances are it's because we've moved something else for service.

What distinguishes RadixWeb from other providers?

To be fair, I don't have a whole lot to compare them to because they're the only ones we've ever really used. That said, if I had to guess, I think it's their approach to client relationship management. RadixWeb has some project managers or leads that do seem to have a good intuition, and they understand us quite well.

Is there anything RadixWeb could have improved or done differently?

If I've learned a lesson over the years, it's been to spend more time in that first stage, of getting that right and understanding it right. Usually it's our issue. We might not give it enough time, and then when we get the final product back we're kind of going, "That's not exactly what we're looking for." Yet, it's probably what we did sign off on in the first place. They would then go back and fix that quite smartly for us, and they don't mismatch too much really, in the grand scheme of things.

The team completed the complex project in 2 years with 5 people.Feedback summaryThe new design has improved usability, productivity, and efficiency with better access to information and less data entry. Radixweb was detail-oriented and thorough in gathering requirements. The team was stable and consistent, providing good communication and excellent customer service.BACKGROUNDPlease describe your organization. We are a commercial collections agency specializing in collecting on business-to-business debt, not individuals, unless they are personally liable for a debt. What is your position?I'm the MIS [management information systems] director.OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGEWhat business challenge were you trying to address with RadixWeb?We were using a collection agency software that wasn't really meeting our needs, and we needed to replace it. Licensing was getting out of control. It was going up on an average of 67 percent a year, which is insane. The support from that company was just horrible, and it didn't meet our needs. We were busy creating workarounds to keep the system going, rather than just having something that met our needs. Every update they did went further away from what we were looking for, so we decided to build our own.Our first requirement was that it needed to be browser based, with a SQL [structured query language] back-end. We did not want to have to maintain tons of computers with software updates and craziness that way. We needed better document management, contact management, and an overhaul of the things it provided for us.SOLUTIONPlease describe the scope of their involvement. They did both front-end and back-end development. We collaborated on the design; my role in this whole process was as the architect. I gave final approval on all design efforts. They presented us with several possible visual options. They asked what color scheme we were looking for, and then they presented me with three or four different layouts that we could choose from, which made it a lot easier. That was based on what colors we wanted to use and knowing overall what I needed it to accomplish.I started out with a requirement gathering person. He and I had multiple phone calls using GoToMeeting in which I shared my screen and demonstrated our current systems, the challenges I felt we needed to overcome, the features I liked, and the features I wanted drastically changed. That was probably a good month of conversations back and forth, and recorded conversations with screen shots and the whole nine yards. From there, we also had the senior business head at Radix come out for a week, sat with employees in all of the divisions, and then sat with me for quite a bit. We went over what the employees thought were problems that they would like to see addressed. At that time, we were also building a dictionary because in our industry, there is a lots of specialized language. He went back with a solid dictionary for them of what we mean when we say certain terms, kind of a reference guide. Then, we had a project lead and three developers, all at full-time. They worked directly with me as we fleshed out what we needed and what we wanted to do.I'm pretty sure they were using Visual Studio. We did .NET for the front-end and Microsoft SQL enterprise for the back-end. We obtained the licenses for the SQL and everything for them. We also integrated it with QuickBooks, which we use for our company financials. We used the web connector process that QuickBooks has for exchanging information between our application and QuickBooks, which was all in C#.We built the servers that they would use, and then basically gave them remote desktop access to those systems. We built the staging, test, and production environments for them as far as configuring Windows and all that kind of stuff. They built everything after that point and deployed to those systems. How did you come to work with RadixWeb?A previous employee here obtained a list of about 150 Microsoft Gold Certified partners, and I'm not sure where he got that from. We sent out RFPs [request for proposals] to all of those companies. About two-thirds of that list were domestic companies, and the other third were international. Alarmingly enough, I got one reply from a United States-based company, and it was, "Good luck with your project." RadixWeb's proposal was head and shoulders above all of the other replies that I received.Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms? The total was around $250,000.What is the status of this engagement? After we selected Radix, we started conversations with them in July 2011. Once the requirements gathering phase was done, they started coding and doing mockups in September of that year, and the application launched in September 2013. The work with them is still ongoing for features and bug resolution – that kind of stuff.RESULTS & FEEDBACKCould you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?I don't have actual metrics. Our employees are happy with the software, and productivity is much higher. We went with a basic mantra as we were going through the entire design process, and that was, "The things that an employee does every day, multiple times a day, should never be more than three clicks away." That's been tremendously helpful. My colleagues all tell me that they're just blown away with how much information is available at their fingertips and so quickly. Also, our fees are up. Employees can manage more files now than they were able to at one time. All of which means that we can have lower staffing, but still keep customer service way up there. Our collectors have all worked at other agencies before and seen a variety of systems. Their feeling is that it's super user-friendly and that access to information is a breeze. It's not convoluted like other systems are. That's from the collectors' standpoint. One of the other things that we developed after we went live was a client portal, using responsive web tech, which allows our clients to log in and get updates on their accounts, download information so that they can build custom reports, and view their remittance statements, payments – that kind of stuff. Our clients love it. They can be on any device at any time and take a look at their data.As far as sales go, they just love that they can give clients that access right away. They also love the closeness of the information they need to do their job every day, when they're talking to their clients and giving them verbal updates. It's a click or two away, and they have all of the information. They're the ones contacting companies trying to get them to place accounts for collections with us. The admin team loves the reduced data entry that they have to do. Putting in new placements, and clients – all of that stuff is easy, and it's all optimized for keying work. How did RadixWeb perform from a project management standpoint? We use JIRA for keeping track of sprints, tracking work, and communicating back and forth. With the time difference between here and there, having a central area where all of us can communicate, from my tester to my DBA [database administrator] to me. We can assign stuff to each other quickly, make comments, and everybody can be on the same page. We'd previously tried to use SharePoint for that, and it just didn't work as well. What distinguishes RadixWeb from other providers?I cannot stress enough how thorough RadixWeb's approach to requirements gathering was. We took two months on that phase and, at the time, I felt that we were going too slow, but I can't stress enough how much that made our project a success. The application is huge, and we got it done and deployed live in two years with five people. My project lead is a very good communicator without many issues. My team was stable throughout the process. Is there anything RadixWeb could have improved or done differently?I've never had an issue with customer service. At the beginning of the project, I was given a full escalation chain of command, where if I was having an issue I could escalate to someone outside of the team that oversees everything. To be honest, I've never had to use it. I was able to deal directly with my project lead or the developers to get corrections done as needed. At times, when interacting with some of the junior developers, I would see some messages that highlighted the fact that English isn't their first language. I would say for things like that when you know the system is going to interface directly with the user and provide confirmation messages and such, I don't think it's good to leave the phrasing to them. Now, when I know I'm going to have a pop that comes up, I give them the specific wording and configuration for it.STAR RATINGSOverall rating: 5 I never had to use my escalation process. My team was stable throughout, and I think that's a big part of what kept us successful. I didn't have a lot of turnover.Quality: 4.5Cost: 4.5Schedule: 5 They have never missed deadlines.Willing to refer: 5
