For enhancing performance and stability of the application, performance testing scripts were also created to allow us to measure the tangible impact of any performance changes made and how this would react under load. This allowed us to identify the effectiveness and pre-empt any potential regressive issues that may arise.

The project management on the projects meant that we were in constant contact with the team and had an open dialogue. Any small delays, or issues identified were communicated as part of standard sprint ceremonies which allowed us to deliver the projects on time, and at high quality.

RadixWeb is always available should there be any urgent issues; we have never been in a situation where the team were non-contactable, even outside of core hours. The team are very communicative and have grasped the domain knowledge of our product and industry extremely well, which has meant that they will often identify any potential weaknesses or areas for improvement when implementing new workflows, with the user experience the highest priority. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Radixweb could have done differently?

During the beginning of our relationship with RadixWeb, there were some small issues that arose due to what we perceived as high priority items that needed urgent attention that may not have been seen as a higher priority internally. This has been resolved now and the team have a great understanding of what areas are critical for our business and would cause issues if anything was to go wrong.

They developed our full tech stack—from scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to user-facing tools like our retailer dashboards, product catalog management, real-time inventory sync, order automation, shipping integrations, and API documentation. They’ve also played a major role in integrations with platforms like Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and eBay. The team continues to deliver new features, resolve technical challenges, and provide DevOps support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Radixweb has been instrumental in helping us scale TopDawg into one of the leading U.S.-based B2B dropshipping platforms, now serving over 20,000 active retailers and hosting products from more than 3,000 suppliers. Their development work enabled us to launch seamless integrations with Shopify, Walmart, and eBay, resulting in a significant increase in retailer adoption and product syncing.

Thanks to their optimization of our infrastructure and automation capabilities, we’ve also seen a 50%+ reduction in support tickets related to order processing and platform errors. Our system uptime has remained above 99.9%, and platform response times have dramatically improved, providing a better overall user experience. These measurable improvements have helped us enhance retailer satisfaction, increase retention, and support consistent monthly revenue growth.

The project was largely completed by August. This was following several months of iterative work with our beta testers. The product is ready for formal release testing and should be released before the year's end.

The project has been largely managed by CVIT. We have daily development calls to assess where the project is at and collaboratively figure out solutions to problems. These are all documented in Jira.

I have been most impressed with how quickly Mr. Joshi has come to understand the project and the tools we use. He also has done an outstanding job in completing tasks in a timely fashion.

We were able to complete the project as planned and bring our platform to the desired goals and level. We also feel now they are good partner for future enhancements and changes to the platform. We plan to continue working with them on this project and have already initiated some other projects with them.

From the beginning they asked questions to fully understand the scope, timeline and budget. They were professional the entire time and focused on moving forward to completion. We communicated via email, Skype and WhatsApp.

Having had experience with other programming companies, I found Radixweb to be a breath of fresh air with their professionalism and focus to get things done. We had strong and direct communication throughout and never felt any miscommunications or anything being lost in our communications.

The project went well overall, but we did need to spend some extra time with their QA team. We were able to resolve it and I don’t believe that will be an issue moving forward. They listened, responded and resolved it.

I am the director of Out On Hire and Keep It Easy which are full scheduling, invoicing, and accounting programs for small businesses around Australia and New Zealand.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

I needed help with software development. We worked with a company before whose coding work was a bit questionable, so we analyzed and checked their output against industry standards and found that it was subpar. To resolve this, we brought in Radixweb.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I forwarded my ideas and concept to Radixweb, who then came up with a design plan and implementation roadmap. They took into consideration how the software would work within the dynamics of the market we’re catering to and proceeded to develop the full-fledged product in Flutter. We had already built Keep It Easy, so all they had to do for that software were updates, fixes, and design improvements. Out On Hire, on the other hand, had to be built from scratch.

Radixweb also took care of the UI/UX for both programs. They made changes to Keep It Easy, for which we had created a design a few years ago, and built Out On Hire’s interface from the ground up. 

What is the team composition?

There are around 5–7 people on the team. We work with a lead developer and his superior, who has been my main point of contact since the early days of the project.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I was given their email address by someone I know. We gave them a small test project, and they did such a good job and found so many different errors that were done previously. We decided to work with them from that point on.

We have spent just under $60,000 AUD (approximately $44,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in October 2019, and we have an ongoing engagement with them for both of our companies.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The existing users of Keep It Easy love the software and its new features. We’ve tested Radixweb’s coding and found that it’s above industry standards. 

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

I have absolutely no problems at all with any of the work that they’ve done. When we do encounter issues, they make always make sure it’s fixed the following morning and that the software is ready to be used again even before the set deadline.

Out of the five companies that we’ve worked with over the last 13 years, Radixweb has been the most professional to deal with. We can always get ahold of them and trust that their code will be great. They’re really impressive, and I’ve already recommended their services to friends who need development and design work done.

When I first came to Radix, my platform was a Proof of Concept that was strung together from multiple independent contractors. Our immediate goal was to bring the code up to a scalable, stable environment for future growth. Our other goals was to add functionality, API's, payment platforms and have oversight for the developers.

The deciding factor to work with Radix was that they had a managed infrastructure.

Radix is very good at scoping every project (we have done over 20 micro projects). They have completed every project timely or under the projected hours. If a project may have some creep, Radix always gave me advance notice if we made changes. Other times Radix would offer advice or solutions that would give us the technological advantage, efficiency and time management.

Typically we work with Sr. Manager of Business Development and the analysts to scope our sprints and then work directly with Sr. Developer to execute the sprints.

I like the top down management and access to all members on the team. Collaboration with Raif and Rezedent.com team. I also really like their ability to ramp up quickly if we have a deadline or need additional resources.

They provide basic maintenance as well as work on bigger projects such as developing new features and products for us to roll out. Before we roll out a software product, their team tests it too. They also work on platforms' UXs, which is how software looks and users engage with it.

We have a primary project manager but also engage their UX and QA teams.

We actually found them on Clutch by reading different companies' reviews. We talked to multiple companies but were impressed by Radixweb’s presentation.

We started working with Radixweb in May 2019, and we’re still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Radixweb has a deep bench. We have a primary point of contact and if we need a different set of expertise, they accommodate our request for additional resources. We have a great working system with them, and they’re able to meet our needs. I constantly receive cold emails from agencies asking if they could help us with our software development. We haven’t had a need to look elsewhere.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re pleased with them. Our account manager is also diligent, staying in touch with us about our needs and what their team could do for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve thrown complicated projects at them, and Radixweb hasn’t disappointed us. They’re always able to figure out a solution to any of our challenges whether it requires developing new platforms or maintaining existing ones.

They’re halfway around the world, which presents challenges because we’re in different time zones. However, we’re getting good services for a great price.

When you’re working with a vendor, it’s important to provide them with clear instructions. Radixweb can accommodate whatever you need. Vendors want to make their clients happy, so they also have a tendency to appease clients. We found an effective way to ensure vendors actually understand our requirements by asking them to repeat back to us what we asked them to do.
