I work for a nonprofit visual arts organization. We strive to use art to help solve social issues.

What challenges were you trying to address with QSTUDIO?

We hired them for video production services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We drew everything for the video and came up with the concept, and they animated it. We worked collaboratively to create the final video. They offered both 3D and 2D animation, and we chose 2D because it matched our needs stylistically. 

What is the team composition?

I had one maint point of contact who coordinated the work with their team. 

How did you come to work with QSTUDIO?

I heard about them a while ago from my friend who had worked with them before. When we were looking for animators, I sent a short brief to three organizations, and QSTUDIO was the best one. 

How much have you invested in them? 

We invested around $2,500. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2019–February 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I really like the quality of their animation. The cost is also very reasonable, especially in comparison to the other companies we looked at. 

How did QSTUDIO perform from a project management standpoint?

We primarily communicated via messenger apps and email. If any emergencies came up, I called them directly. They were responsive and quick. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really liked that they gave us multiple options and provided samples for what our video would look like free of charge. It helped us decide what style we liked best. 

Even when there were mistakes on our end or my team missed deadlines, they were very accommodating. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind. However, I hope that they grow as a company because it would benefit them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

It is helpful to communicate what you need in advance, including what your knowledge is of animation. We weren’t aware of how complex and time-consuming the project would be when we started.
