QAtronic was brought onboard to assist in automating a suite of then-manual tests run by our team of QA analysts. The goal was to increase test coverage and provide the ability for the company to deploy releases on a faster schedule while also reducing the amount of manual regression testing being handled by our in-house team. We were aiming for 80%+ test coverage. We had been using a competitive solution which utilized 'gig'-testers online to manually test in bulk, but we were unpleased with the results, flexibility and flakiness of the testing itself.
