Purnavix

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of a digital news platform covering local, national, and regional news.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Purnavix?

We needed to build a modern news platform that was easy for our team to manage and for readers to use. We needed a proper structure for publishing news, managing categories, and handling a growing amount of content without making the website complicated.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Purnavix handles our website and mobile app, along with ongoing technical support. Their work includes development, updates, and improvements across both platforms, as well as a monthly performance audit of the website. They regularly check speed, technical issues, and overall performance to help us keep everything running smoothly. For the website, Purnavix has delivered a structured news publishing system with category-based content, article management, responsive design, and performance-focused improvements. They’ve also worked on the mobile app to provide a convenient way for readers to access the latest news. Another important part of the work has been ongoing performance monitoring, including monthly audits to identify speed, technical, and usability issues and improve the overall experience.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–5 teammates from Purnavix.

How did you come to work with Purnavix?

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, a great culture fit, and aligned company values.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The main improvement has been the overall stability and performance of the platform. Regular monthly audits have helped us identify and fix technical and performance issues before they become bigger problems. The website is also easier for our team to manage and publish content on, while the mobile app gives our readers another way to access our news. Overall, the ongoing support from Purnavix has made the platform more reliable and easier to maintain as our content continues to grow. Before Purnavix started working with us, our Google PageSpeed scores were around 10 on mobile and 30 on desktop. After their optimization work, we’ve been able to consistently achieve scores above 90 on both mobile and desktop. This has made a noticeable difference in the overall speed and usability of the website, especially on mobile devices. Our team has also found the website much smoother to work with and maintain.

How did Purnavix perform from a project management standpoint?

Purnavix has been very reliable when it comes to project management. The work has been delivered on time, and communication throughout the project has been clear and straightforward. Our primary forms of communication are in-person and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I’ve been most impressed with is their reliability. Purnavix consistently delivers the work on time, and their support is always available when we need help. Even after completing a project, they remain responsive to updates, issues, and improvements. That level of ongoing support has made working with them much easier.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There hasn’t been anything significant that we’ve felt they need to do differently. In fact, one thing we’ve really appreciated is that the Purnavix team often takes the initiative to add useful features and improvements without us specifically asking for them. Some of these additions have made our news publishing workflow much easier and saved our team a lot of time. Their proactive approach has been one of the things we’ve valued the most.
