Our approach synthesizes industry standards with modern software development methodologies, ensuring alignment with both, our needs and industry regulations. The development process commenced with a series of workshops and meetings. In the first phase, the Business Analyst conducted a detailed business analysis of cashless payment challenges, aligning conclusions with our requirements. 

Subsequently, the Software Architect crafted the final system architecture, integrating insights from the business analysis and industry standards. Key deliverables included comprehensive documentation essential for cashless payment implementation, and a clear implementation roadmap. 

Additionally, they developed a system architecture aligned with global gas station standards, delineating necessary systems for cashless payment implementation across various channels, including mobile applications, fleet customer interfaces, and external integrations.

The measurable outcome of the project was the creation of comprehensive documentation, which proved to be a key asset for the subsequent implementation of a cashless payment solution. This documentation, with its meticulous detail addressing all industry specifications, provided a clear roadmap for seamless integration. Also, the development of a system architecture aligned with global gas station standards was instrumental.

The project management style employed by Prognetics was characterized by effective communication and timely execution. Throughout the analysis and planning phase spanning 2 months, our collaboration comprised a series of workshops and meetings with their Business Analyst and Software Architect. 

During these interactions, Prognetics demonstrated clear and substantive communication, ensuring that all project stakeholders were well-informed and aligned. Prognetics, was proposed by our supplier. We had a discovery call, after which we made our decision.

The consultant quickly stepped in into our organization. Assessed the project and currently used methodologies within the company. He prepared a detailed backlog for tracking the progress in the work being done and broke down feature ideas into smaller tasks. We have been able to deliver a single large feature, and started the work on another one. The main technologies used on the project are Microsoft's .NET MVC, JavaScript, SQL Server and Internet Information Services (IIS).

We are currently working with a single consultant that is able to fulfill multiple roles. We plan to grow the team in the future.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have been able to deliver single large feature to our customers, and started to work on another one. This will enable us to scale our operation.

We are using Azure DevOps for managing entire projects, including build pipelines, repositories, and backlogs. The work is handled in kanban style using MS Teams for communications and recurring status meetings. Prognetics is transparent about delivery timelines, and we are satisfied with it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The developer we've been working with at Prognostics is very capable of the tasks we put before him and he's actively coming up with refinements and recommendations. We work together as a team and the cooperation has been really good and comfortable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I cannot think of one at this moment. The aviation environment is quite complex and time-consuming to learn. What we have learned, however, is to give the onboarding process more time and then preferably on-site to be able to get to know the environment further.

Steppsy was a startup which should have bring our idea of comfortable travelling to life. I was a cofounder being responsible for marketing and content part.

Prognetics was to deliver us the service consisted of developing a mobile app that will help people travel. The team helped to shape the idea, prepare the business documents and create the app from scratch.

Choosing between several companies, I have stopped on Prognetics. Three most important factors led to our decision: ability to shape our idea within first meetings, detailed and sensible workflow plan with short timeframe, and very attractive but reasonable price.

We started with very basic app idea, so we did changes in the concept few times during our work. We followed Prognetics product development process which allowed us for easy introduction and concept changes.

The work resulted in delivery of: backoffice application done in Angular, hybrid mobile app done in React Native and server side web api in .NET Core.

There were four highly professional members which were for us on every step. The team consisted of two developers, , PM/ architect, and design-lead.

Unfortunately, the development stopped because of pandemic. Travelling was one of the industries which suffered instantly. We were on promotion step, creating and developing brand on social medias, but we had to choose rational decision to “freeze”.

We understand that projects may require different approaches, and some styles work better than others. However, Prognetics has democratic management style, as trust within team, based on the strengths of each member proves itself. The best communication tools for our cooperation were video and web conferencing calls. But we also used Emails and text messaging. The time was not our concern, as we were focused on quality and functionality. However, Prognetics kept it within the timeframe we set in the beginning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive for us was the level of cooperation within the team and with the client. We did not believe that bringing the idea to life was so easy and delightful process, which we could enjoy.

When most companies make impression that it takes a lot of time and money for successful product, Prognetics proves them wrong. The cooperation was on very high, professional and friendly level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Our company was totally satisfied with the service delivered by Prognetics. We would like to cooperate with them in the future again. Hopefully they will develop the image and increase their brand awareness on the market.

Throughout the process, Prognetics provided services such as designing parts of the System Architecture, Custom Software Development, Back-end Development, DevOps, and Testing. These efforts resulted in a more capable and flexible system, capable of efficiently performing advanced own funds simulations on millions of data points.
