Our company frequently engages in the acquisition of technology startups within the hospitality technology sector, seamlessly integrating both their teams and products into our platform. Upon the acquisition of a new startup, we sought professional assistance in establishing a robust continuous development framework, encompassing quality assurance. 

Our primary objectives centered around ensuring product stability and enhancing team scalability. Given our positive prior experience with ProfITsoft, they emerged as our preferred choice when the new technical need arose. Despite the previous project's focus on Java/NodeJS, we were confident in ProfITsoft's robust team growth capabilities and their ability to promptly provide us with experienced QA engineers. This confidence was well-founded, as when we reached out to ProfITsoft’s CEO, Olexander, he assured us that the required QA team could be assembled, delivering measurable results within one month. 

ProfITsoft effectively executed various tasks, including the establishment of a comprehensive QA process for both web and mobile applications, transitioning to TestRail for more effective test management, and successfully executing complex quality assurance verification for a digital wallet product. This digital wallet product is seamlessly incorporated into many segments of our digital platform.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

ProfITsoft's team currently handles new feature testing, regression testing, and automation testing. We are also expanding our focus to UI testing in the future, as the UI testing project developed by ProfITsoft's engineers has significantly reduced the number of client-side errors within the software. In addition to these positive outcomes, the introduction of integration testing has led to a 56% decrease in the number of bugs present in software releases. Moreover, automated API tests created by ProfITsoft's engineers currently cover 60% of regression testing, further enhancing our software quality and stability.

Their project manager maintained close collaboration with our product and sprint planning teams throughout the project. They fostered an environment of transparency and fairness, ensuring that any potential issues with user story delivery were flagged early on. Any challenges related to time or quality were proactively addressed through process improvements or, if necessary, resource substitutions to ensure the project's success.

When we started working with ProfITsoft, our company was a small startup, and we faced a serious shortage of IT specialists, Java engineers in particular. That is why we hired ProfITsoft as a reliable Java software development vendor who has a proven track record and extensive experience in building enterprise-level solutions. Another major challenge we were willing to resolve by cooperating with ProfITsoft is quick and easy project scaling.

As our product was getting traction on the market, they helped us with ongoing project support, provided enough resources to work on the new features of the system, and even created solutions for different platforms (web and mobile).

Eventually ProfITsoft not only managed to deliver Java development services that met our business needs but also helped to streamline the workflow and simplify the interaction between different departments. This significantly improved the operational efficiency of our business.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

ProfITsoft’s professionalism had a direct positive impact on our company’s commercial success. After we started working with them and developed our customer service quality analysis system, we’ve not only managed to raise more than €3M from investors, we’ve won several awards like the title of an "emerging company most likely to change the travel industry" from Travel Innovation Summit by PhoCusWright.

Besides, we’ve significantly expanded the system’s functionality and have become a part of Shiji Information Technology. Today ReviewPro’s software is used by 60,000+ hospitality businesses around the globe, and we plan to increase this number in the nearest future.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Starting our cooperation with ProfITsoft, we had an in-house team that had been working on our digital product for some time. However, the number of tech specialists we had available wasn’t enough to meet the development speed we wanted to achieve. Besides, we also required assistance with particular parts of the project (like the AI-powered chatbot development) as our engineers lacked experience in this regard.

ProfITsoft created and presented a comprehensive software development strategy that we adhered to. Their engineers started to work as members of our team, taking over multiple responsibilities and parts of the software creation. 

• Introduced a proprietary Java-based data collection algorithm. It helps our clients gather and efficiently process customers’ feedback across 140 review sites in 45 different languages
• Implemented a cutting-edge AI chatbot to streamline customers’ support and provide better assistance
• Created a custom cloud-based guest satisfaction management system. The goal of this module is to process negative reviews and automate the task management process to resolve the issues ASAP
• Established secure requests routing configuration for incoming requests from the guests
• Set up an omnichannel communication messaging built to allow the guests to reach out to the chosen hotel via their preferred messenger
• Ensured seamless integration of our product with dozens of third-party hospitality tech services. A bespoke intermediate software instantly transforms received data into a unified data model to store within the system
• Took care of the careful quality assurance for all new features. Covered 70% of the solution’s functionality in autotests, safeguarded quick and efficient bug fixing
• Assembled the application’s UI and mobile-friendly layout
• Helped to speed up the mobile application development process by providing useful advice and expertise

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

ProfITsoft’s Java skills are unmatched. We’ve worked with other Java experts prior to sticking with ProfITsoft, and no other company or engineer knew what they were doing better than ProfITsoft.

They always came up with the most cost-effective solution that is quick to develop, explained why a specific tech tool was better than other options in each case, and delivered the promised work on time. The combination of profound Java expertise and flexibility really made a difference during the development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ProfITsoft could have done differently?

The only thing I can think of is the level of English for some engineers. ProfITsoft is a Ukrainian company, and when hiring them, we knew that some employees might not be fluent English speakers. So we were ready to work with that. However, it’s only fair to say that most of the people we were communicating with on a regular basis were proficient in English, and there never was a communication barrier.
