I’m a regional VP of Primerica, a financial services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with ProfilePac?

I didn’t have any challenges; I just wanted to enhance my existing business practices.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ProfilePac filmed a live-action video at my house. They helped with the planning process for the video, managed the creative process entirely on their own, and provided their own equipment. They also handled editing and audio mixing.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with three people, including Cameron (Founder & CEO) and his sister.

How did you come to work with ProfilePac?

We found them through a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We didn’t invest anything because this was part of ProfilePac’s pilot program.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in December 2019; I still use the video they created.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The only metric I have is the personal success that I’ve had with ProfilePac’s video. 

How did ProfilePac perform from a project management standpoint?

They met every deadline and kept me updated throughout the project via emails, phone calls, and text messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love ProfilePac’s efficiency and the final product they created — it’s very effective.

I’m the financial advisor and fiduciary at Clarrisa Mae Fleming, which is my own financial advisory firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with ProfilePac?

I engaged ProfilePac for their video production services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’d seen others create videos or trailers for who they were and what they did in their business. I realized it was a great way to help people know who I was. As a result, I created a script — this took me longer than expected. ProfilePac helped me in terms of using the proper words and finding the right ideas to emphasize.

Then, the team did on-site filming with me at my home, in my office, and in other places around town. For instance, we filmed at a coffee shop. Since my specialty was government and military retirees, we also filmed at a national cemetery, which was a pertinent place for veterans. 

ProfilePac put all the footage together. The team merged my vocals with symbolical images in the B-roll to create a feeling of cohesiveness. Moreover, they brought their own equipment and dealt with everything related to the video process. We finished the shoot in one day. 

The final video was 3 minutes and 45 seconds. I could’ve asked them for more input, but I gave them the reins on that and told them to do what worked. They weren’t experts in the military or finance, so they tried to make the images more poignant by showing my husband’s awards when he was in physical combat in the military. By showing these awards, we were subtly saying that I understood my clients since I belonged to a military family.  

What is the team composition?

I had two main contact points, but four people were working with me during the on-site shoot. We had two videographers, an audio specialist, and a director. I did speak a couple of times to their editor, who put everything together. Overall, around six people worked on the project.  

How did you come to work with ProfilePac?

My former broker knew ProfilePac, and he referred them to me. I checked them out and started our engagement. 

How much have you invested with them?

I paid about $5,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

It took me about a month to put my script together, but our engagement took place and finished in January 2020. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We posted the video on our website and social media, and we used it in our emails. Our lead conversion was astronomically better. I didn’t have to build trust in my first conversation with clients — it would normally take between 3–4 meetings to close a business, but I could close deals in 1–2 meetings because of the video. I also generated many cold conversions. These were people that saw my video because someone else commented on it. They reached out to me and were converted easily, too. As a result, my income almost tripled. 

Moreover, the video completely changed the dynamic of how people viewed me as a financial advisor — it made me a person. Without the video, people wouldn’t be able to know me from other advisors. They’d simply picture a person in a leather chair in front of books. Watching the video, people felt that they got to know who I was. I even received positive feedback from professionals in networking events. 

Overall, the video has given me a ton of business, and I still use it with every single client I meet. In fact, we’re in the process of splicing the video for social media content. I’ll soon receive the final draft of a couple of splices that are 20 seconds long. I can use them in my Reels or YouTube ads. 

How did ProfilePac perform from a project management standpoint?

I had no issues with their project management. To communicate, we used Google Meet, Zoom, phone calls, texts, and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

ProfilePac had a great eye for everything. They had an artistic eye for angles, how to take a shot, and how to move when they were shooting. As a result, the video came across as something that might be created for a multimillion-dollar movie studio. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing I joked about while working with them was that they had to angle the camera up since I was older than many of their other clients. Other than that, everything was great. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Use the video that ProfilePac creates for you. Other people say they don’t see results, but they’re not using the video. In my case, every time somebody refers me to someone else, I let them know about me by showing them the video. If someone tags me on Facebook, I comment with a link to the video. I use the videos multiple times daily because it allows clients to check who I am without actually talking to me.

What challenge were you trying to address with ProfilePac?

I wanted to automate the ability to share my story with potential clients to save time in meetings and elevate my perceived value.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ProfilePac has created a three-minute profile video as a way for me to share my story; it’s like a video business card.

During pre-production, they coached me through every single step of the process, starting with brainstorming and writing out the script. They offered creative ideas around sharing my story through video. Then, they helped me choose a shoot location, and we connected multiple times before the day of the shoot. 

On the day of filming, ProfilePac had thought of everything I’d need and walked me through it. They came to me and brought all their own equipment — everything they needed to shoot the video. I just had to go through the motions and follow their guidance; the process was very smooth and straightforward for me.

After shooting, they edited the video and engineered the audio. They took care of every single detail. The final video was delivered to me via a private link on Vimeo to download and use however I wanted.

What is the team composition?

At least 5–7 members of their team were working on my project, including an editor, a scriptwriter, and one teammate directing the overall strategy throughout the process. On the day of the shoot, there was a camera operator, a drone operator, and some crew members working the lighting. 

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost close to $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in April 2022 and was completed within 3–4 weeks. 

How did you come to work with ProfilePac?

I was referred to them by another entrepreneur, a friend of mine. I checked out their website and scheduled a consultation.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I send the video to all my potential clients before I meet with them, and they have referred it to others. I’ve also published it on Instagram, Facebook, and my landing page. The reactions have been very positive, and there has been a consistent increase in views. ProfilePac has given me a great branding tool that has saved time. 

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

They were perfect. They did what they told me they’d do — word for word — and stayed right on track with the schedule. 

They were communicative and responded well to my feedback. Our primary method of communication was a group chat on a messenger app with their entire team; they sent updates and reminders throughout the project, and it was very easy for me to reach them when I had questions. We also met a couple of times on Zoom, and they called me a few times.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attention to detail, quality of work, and value for money set them apart. A lot of creativity went on behind the scenes, from clipping the story together to the audio engineering. They used high-quality equipment, and the difference was noticeable. Their price was very competitive compared to other video companies for this quality and the amount of communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m satisfied with their work.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

While preparing to work with them, think about your story and what sets you apart in your field. ProfilePac will want to create a story around those distinguishing factors, which they can’t define for you. I’d encourage you to be open to their coaching.
