I’m the VP of a TV production company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Povidom Group?

We use Povidom’s video production services for many projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve worked with Povidom on two video production projects; we collaborate with me to make my ideas a reality. They’re in charge of doing most of our video editing work, and they also help us create graphics and titles.

For our past project, they worked with us on a three-minute documentary to tell a retrospective version of the story behind a famous place in Chicago. On this project, they were in charge of the coloring and editing, and they also helped me with some of the sound mixing and musicalization. I was in charge of doing the rest. Currently, they’re collaborating with them on a travel television series.

I work directly with Evgenia (Senior Video Editor).

How did you come to work with Povidom Group?

They worked on another project for someone else. I really liked that project, so I looked at the information and came across Povidom. I decided to contact them, and when I talked with Evgenie, I thought that they would be a good fit for my needs.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $5,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2018, and our engagement is ongoing. Our first project was a one-month project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Povidom delivers outstanding quality work; they’re the best production company I’ve worked with. They always take the time to understand my projects and get to know my goals, and they strive to overachieve those goals. I’m very satisfied with their services overall, and I now feel at home working with them, so I go straight to them when needed.

As for the documentary project itself, it was a great project. A lot of people loved it, as well as the quality of the work done by Povidom. The audience’s response to the video really spoke about Povidom’s work.

How did Povidom Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Povidom is very responsive, and their project management is excellent. They constantly deliver assets ahead of schedule, even considering that I never rush them. Whenever their work is ready, they let me know, we review their work together, and I approve it when everything is right.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Povidom is very inviting, welcoming, and pleasant to work with.

No. I like what they do.

Look at their work, reach out to them, describe your project, and take it from there — there’s nothing they can’t do.

For what projects/services did your company hire Povidom Group, and what were your goals?

We hired Providom to make us a professional direct response marketing video product ad for cold traffic acquisition across social channels.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected the vendor based on their video production expertise, track record and their ability to deliver.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We started with a discover meeting. They worked with us to understand our product and objectives. After which the plan was to execute the project in small phases or deliverables. It began with Story boarding, Script writing, Voice over, filming and then editing. We provided feedback and got some revisions made until we were happy with the final product.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with the project manager or owner who outlined the project plan and kept us updated on the production process. We had a series of discussions after each milestone to ensure the project was going as planned.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are gradually testing the final deliverable in our digital marketing strategy and also started using some segments of the footage to created new video assets which can be used in our marketing campaigns.

The project manager was easy to work with and provided frequent updates. They kept us updated on the progress and we had constructive dialogs as to how we can ensure the project is a success. They respected the timeline and we used audio conferencing and chat to effectively communicate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to learn about our product and found the right actors and team to realize our project. They were also very enthusiastic and committed which ultimately made the project and the final video better.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish our conference meetings with the project manager would have been over video rather then just audio so that we could put a face to the voice – for such large projects I feel it is required. I also wish their English would have been a bit better, but overall, they still did a good job communicating.

I’m a consultant for a financial services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Povidom Group?

We wanted to communicate our points in a more effective and powerful manner. PowerPoint presentations or Microsoft Word reports don’t get the message across like a 2–3 minute video would so we hired Povidom Group.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I used their services to create a video version of all my client reports. We personalize the entire report into a 2–3 minute script, send it to them with a voiceover, and then they create the entire imagery using animation with graphics.

I give them context as to why the video is being made, and I tell them what we’re trying to communicate. They have about five minutes with me to read the script and understand anything they’re unclear on. During these five minutes, we also discuss what kind of imagery we were looking for and what feelings or reactions we want the images to create.

What is the team composition?

I was only in contact with one person who was the project manager and lead designer.

How did you come to work with Povidom Group?

We found them on Fiverr. We got their rates and saw the rates of 7–8 other vendors. We shortlisted 2–3 of them.

It was a matter of luck that we tried the first project with Povidom Group. We liked them so much that we never bothered going to anyone else.

How much have you invested with them?

Our investment was $2,800.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2016 and we stopped in April 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have our video ready in whatever timeline they promise. If we’re not happy with the final product, they’re more than happy to modify it at no additional cost. We always received a lot of positive feedback and the impact that we desired to have, regardless of who we showed the video to.

Their key specialty is animation with graphics, and they are really good with those videos. It’s like the videos you see on YouTube. The videos they make are catchy and very impactful. The quality is really good.

How did Povidom Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager did a great job trying to understand our business needs and communicating them to her team. From our side, we only monitored their timelines.

Not only did they always meet our expectations, but actually they always delivered earlier than expected. They turned around my messages really quickly and proactively updated me on the progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing they did is they operated at a really low cost. It wasn’t too much of a burden on the budget. Also, having worked with multiple artists in different services, I really liked their transparency and proactive communication. They’re always available despite the time difference.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re really good.

Get the money discussion out of the way with any artist. As soon as you have those discussions sealed, be friendly, open, and transparent from your side.
