Luke and Crista stayed on top of the well defined timeline and guided us through the process very well

We spoke with close to a dozen production companies before deciding to go with Pocket Pictures. Luke was clearly a cut above the rest in terms of his output quality, creative vision, professionalism, and flexibility. We feel that we got more than double our budget's worth in terms of production quality and general end result.

Of all the production companies we spoke with, Luke and Crista of Pocket Pictures were by far the most engaged and genuine in their pursuit to understand our company, product, and what our objective was with the video. Their portfolio speaks for itself; after working with them, it was easy to understand why their work was so well done. They are very talented, have vision, and care.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Pocket Pictures could have done differently?

Absolutely not, I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

My role is as an Executive Producer for a a live and digital brand experience agency.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Pocket Pictures, and what were your goals?

Our brief was to share news about HR benefits to the internal audience of a tech company. Whilst this could have taken the shape of a dry digital webinar, but we were determined not to make that happen. While some of the information was dense, it was important and had to be effectively communicated to the entire global audience. So with that in mind, we planned a program modelled after TV formats designed to entertain: chat shows, late shows and game shows. Our end result was a hybrid of all three.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After reviewing a number of video production companies in the Bay Area, we settled on Pocket Pictures due to their experience in storytelling, agility in scheduling and willingness to partner with our creative team.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

Pocket Pictures took the brief and worked with us on developing the storyboard, set design, locations, equipment selection and schedule. The 2 day shoot was also edited by Pocket Pictures and resulted in a 27 minute final video.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked closely with the Director, DOP and Producer who brought to life our story in a creative, professional, efficient and cost effective way.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The resulting piece was watched live by a global audience of over 6000 and many more on demand. In a company of over 25,000 global employees, 72% of them signed up for the program this video was promoting which is a great success!

The Producer was very thorough and organised and we worked well together on scheduling and budgeting. They were always very responsive to emails and communication was clear and succinct.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Pocket Pictures have a great down to earth and hands on nature with a willingness to do whatever it takes to make the project run smoothly. They are very creative and have an eye for small touches that elevate the resulting piece beyond what was imagined.

Nothing springs to mind for areas of improvement!
