We had an existing body of code. We had parted ways with our previous programmers, so we gave PiZone Infotech Solution the existing code. The deliverables were to fix certain bugs and add certain features for us, which they did. 

They worked on a web frontend and a backend on Azure. Our platform is composed of small data artificial intelligence. The program is used for analyzing and evaluating earthquakes. We use it to replicate human decisions and expert decisions.

The project was ad hoc. The deliverables change each time for each new requirement.

They’re great, and the work they’ve done is high quality. We had a problem with uploading large files. It was stalling and taking two or three minutes. They offered a solution that greatly improved the upload time. It went from taking minutes to seconds. 20,000 records used to take four minutes and now takes two or three seconds. They took the initiative to make the platform better for us.

They’re good. You have to specify things correctly, which my team does because we all have a development background. I won’t say that they haven’t missed a deadline, but nothing out of the normal. We used Microsoft DevOps. It was in more of an agile style.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re able to solve a full spectrum of problems. They have a nice variety of skills and skill levels. They also provide bang for your buck. The value for money is excellent. There are many cheap programmers, but you might come out without working code, whereas with them, the code works.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are small things, but they’re cultural. If we ask them if they understand, they will never say they don’t understand. They will always say yes, so we have to push them to see what they have missed.

The other thing is if the developer we’re working with is not there that day, they won’t tell us. Someone else will take over and chat with us but won’t always speed on our project.

I recommend them to everyone. I don’t have any specific advice; I would say go for it.
