Overall, Pixels have done great work. One area for improvement would be to rely less on auto-generated video transcripts and incorporate more thorough human review before delivery. This would help minimize minor transcription errors, reduce the need for back-and-forth edits, and streamline the overall approval process, ensuring even smoother and faster project completion.

I’m the creative director for Leo Burnett, an advertising agency. We’re part of the monthly national holding group called Publicis.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pixels Production?

We mainly needed help with video production.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially hired Pixels Production for a local, limited podcast; it was just a couple of episodes. Then, we hired them for a second project involving live documentation. They came and shot on the same day and managed to finish and send it to us.

We had a two-way discussion about the initial idea, and they had a lot of input. We didn’t dictate a particular thing; they had their own ideas.

Pixels Production has their own studios. We haven’t tried them on more significant projects, but we’ll do that later. Once we have a big production, we’ll probably get in touch with them.

What is the team composition?

My direct contact is Karam (Producer). He’s very responsive and hands-on; he knows what he’s doing.

I’ve also met one of the camerapeople and Rashed (Camera Operator & Editor); he’s a really nice guy. He’s also super fast and responsive. I’m not sure I’ve met the rest of the team.

How did you come to work with Pixels Production?

I worked with them through other partners. When I first met them, the nature of the job was very demanding because it was a high-profile client. It was a confidential project, so we can’t disclose who it was. Pixels Production was hired for video production; we had to work under extreme pressure because the client needed the project really quickly. Pixels Production did everything on the spot and was really professional, which is why we hired them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with them since March 2024, so it’s a new relationship. They’ve left a good impression, so we might continue working with them on several projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our most significant statistic is client satisfaction. Both of our clients were satisfied with the outcome and what they paid for, so we were also very happy with Pixels Production. The quality was great, which the clients loved.

Both projects were published on social media, but I know Karam also had a lot of experience in TV.

How did Pixels Production perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive and super fast. They easily deliver things on the same day.

We don’t get too involved with the payments. We prefer that the third party sets their budget directly with the client. In these two situations, Pixels Production and the client dictated the price together. I know the price was pretty affordable, which is why the clients ventured with them. They saw a couple of Pixels Production’s other work and thought the price was very reasonable.

Our communication started with emails because we had to document everything. From there, we picked up the phone and documented everything through emails. Overall, they’re very responsive.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Rashed is a great guy. He’s very responsive, prompt, and agile; he knows what he’s doing. Moreover, Rashed is open to ideas. If he sees something wrong or that doesn’t work, he comes to us with a solution. We like working with him.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The outcome is excellent, which is what matters at the end of the day. Additionally, their responsiveness and the kind of relationship we have with Karam are outstanding. He makes it easy for us to be open. He doesn’t shut things down and is always listening to opinions. Overall, we have a nice, friendly partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m sure there’s room for improvement, but there’s nothing at the top of my head.

I recommend trying new ways of doing things.

The deliverables were the cards and supporting logistically, which all went perfectly. However, the team's interpersonal skills lacked some of them, which created clashes with us (the client, not me, the project manager, directly but my team), which made the environment a bit uncomfortable.
