This project involved the production of seven live-action videos and eight 2D animation videos, each up to six minutes in length

Animated included creative concept, design, scritpting, storyboarding, actor and voice artist auditions, and editing.

Live action featuring talking-head interviews and b-roll footage for dynamic storytelling. Filming took place over three days in the Sacramento area using a cinema-quality 4K camera and a full sync sound package, with the client providing on-screen talent, locations, and scripts. A skilled production team, including a Director of Photography, Audio Engineer, Assistant Camera, Key Grip, Grip, and Production Assistant, ensured a seamless shoot. Comprehensive project management, led by a producer, covered administration, correspondence, and pre-production meetings. Post-production included editing, sound design, and the integration of licensed music, resulting in polished, professional videos aligned with the client’s vision.

The project demonstrated exceptional performance in several key areas. All videos were completed and delivered ahead of the agreed-upon deadline with flexibility to meet the our need to pivot many times, showcasing efficient time management and adherence to the production schedule. The final videos met and exceeded technical quality standards, featuring crisp 4K resolution, clear and well-balanced audio, and professional-grade editing that brought the client’s vision to life. Collaboration between the production team and the client was seamless, with clear communication ensuring that all requirements were met without the need for significant revisions or reshoots. Additionally, the technical performance of the videos was flawless, with licensed music and sound design seamlessly integrated to enhance storytelling, and the videos played without issues across all intended platforms, affirming their high-quality production standards.

PictureLab was very responsive in all communications and met all project deadlines. Working with a government agency involved a thorough review process, and we often had to pivot to meet different needs. PictureLab was very accommodating throughout the process and executed all requests, often offering solutions to help make the project more efficient.

The PictureLab Team is not only professional and talented, they are genuinely great people to work with. They were creative and accomodating. We enjoyed collaborating with them to bring the vision of our videos to life. They went above and beyond to give us what we needed.

We were looking to create a high-level product walkthrough for two of our products. Our products are quite complex so it was a challenge to condense them into a short script, that shows the highlights in a cohesive way

I was working on a project that used PictureLab in a previous job. I remembered that they were professional and made solid videos.

First we had a call to set expectations and explain what we're looking for. We then created a script (although they offered to help), and we sent screen shots and branding for our products. They then created a story board which we were able to give feedback on. Then they created a video that wasn't yet animated, where we could again give feedback. We were then asked to select voice talent for the video. They then created an animated version and we had another chance for feedback. Then they created the final version with the voice talent and subtitles

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Alex, he was very professional and accommodating, absolutely happy to help us get the vision we were after.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have used our videos at conferences and on our LinkedIn accounts. People have already commented how good they look. The sales team are ecstatic to have these as content pieces in their sales tool kit because it makes it easy to illustrate the products on a high-level.

We used a combination of Word, Vimeo, and email. For this scale of project anything beyond this wasn't really necessary.

They were professional and really knew what they were doing, great value for money.

For me it was good.

We partnered with PictureLab to help us create a new brand video that helps position Brazen as a leader in our market.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Previous work was fantastic. Strongly recommended from other CMOs I spoke with. No hidden costs which are typically an issue with projects like this. The people. The service. The creativity.

Incredibly quick process. They understand your business, your customer, and your challenge. With this information they create a half dozen concepts. Once our team provided feedback, they refined our top choices into one cohesive story. From there they moved into script creation and once they got our edits and it was approved moved quickly into production.

They of course do casting but we had input into actors and narrators (they even provided suggestions for both). Once the video was shot, they went into editing. A final cut was sent to our team and after minimal edits (again, they were agreeable to any number of edits and didn't charge for extra changes) we received a final cut that was beyond our expectations!

Alex and Dave are responsive, creative, and just great guys to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better partner on this project!

We've had incredibly strong feedback from the market on our newest video and a spike in our traffic and attention since we've promoted the video.

Incredibly timely in their responses. Even being on opposite coasts did not delay responses. Most impressively, their turnaround time on edits was super fast!

Their ability to tell our story in less than 90 seconds. Their animation team is also incredible. They were able to portray our software in the best light. In fact, they put us in the spotlight!

Initially, candidates were judged by their portfolios and demo reels. The hunt was further narrowed to 6 candidates in our budget range. Picturelab was chosen from the group after completing a phone interview & Q/A session with each company.

The process from intake to completion was very smooth. It began with a description of the project and we provided them a scope of work. We reached a verbal agreement on scope and price, followed by an engagement letter and written terms.

We signed, paid and commenced work. The first step was covering messaging, then scripting. After script was finalized, an AV script was formatted. When that was finalized, animation began. We made several rounds of revisions to animation and then it was finalized and delivered on time.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

The feedback process was very smooth and timely. It was obvious that our project was a priority and was turned around very quickly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final videos made an incredible impact at CES and was pivotal to our initial unveiling. The videos continues to impress with our ongoing marketing efforts.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was nearly seamless. We have a designer on staff who coordinated with their creative team and the process was excellent.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were very impressed with how personable and professional the team was. Our point of contact was Dave, and it was very apparent early on that we were in good hands. The attention to detail and the responsiveness was unparalleled.

To create high quality, professional marketing assets that could be used by our sales team as well as in paid media. We also needed a photo library that we could draw from in creating print and digital assets.

We started with photography of a model using the company equipment and demoing prescribed exercises.

We also made video demos of an actor using the equipment. We also created a customer testimonial video.

Finally, we made a :90 second product demo telling the story of a person in pain, and how they used our product to resolve their issues with physical therapy.

We made several versions of the video, with different voice overs and different lengths.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Loved it. Really happy to have assets to reflect the quality of our product and solution. Felt like the materials looked like we paid more for what we got.

We are just starting to use the assets. No results yet.

Great communication. SUPER fast response time. Quick turnaround on edits and changes.

High quality/good price. And really so incredibly responsive. Even when feedback on my side was delayed, Picturelab was quick to turn things around.

Some very minor background details in the setups on the video that I wish we had handled differently. But in all didn't have a big impact on overall work.

Overall the process was seamless. I provided an overview of what we were looking for and then they provided a quote. From there we met with them explaining or vision and within a week, they had 5 creative options for us to choose from. They were very easy to work with and was very patient with our busy schedule. After the shoot, we received a draft within a few weeks. They would make revisions within a day.

Alex was an amazing project manager. He always responds within the same day and usually has changes made within 24 hours.

We are in the process of launching these videos. So far, we have received great feedback from our sales team and a few clients we have shown.
