Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Petadev supported us throughout the development of GetFlyMate, our iOS and Android platform designed to help student pilots build flight hours more efficiently by making shared aircraft usage and flying opportunities easier to coordinate. The scope of work covered the entire product development process, starting with market research, product discovery, and business concept planning. Petadev helped us understand the target audience, shape the product concept, and translate our business idea into a clear development plan. They also handled UI/UX design, creating a clean and intuitive interface that matched our vision from the very first design iterations. On the technical side, they developed the cross-platform mobile application using React Native and Expo, built the backend with Node.js, and supported deployment and ongoing operations. What stood out was their ability to understand both the technical requirements and the business logic behind the product. They took ownership of the project, anticipated our needs, and helped us navigate decisions across research, design, development, and operations. Rather than simply implementing specifications, they acted as a genuine product development partner throughout the process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Both the iOS and Android apps were delivered and published on the Apple App Store and Google Play in approximately 2.5 months, within the agreed scope and budget. Beyond meeting these key delivery milestones, Petadev managed the process from market research and product planning through UI/UX design, mobile app development, backend implementation, and operational support. They translated our business idea into a working product with a clean design that matched my vision from the first iterations. Their strong ownership, technical problem-solving, and understanding of the business concept significantly reduced the time and effort I needed to invest in managing the project. Delivering both apps on time and within budget, without compromising the intended product experience, was the clearest measure of success for us.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Petadev managed the project exceptionally well. They delivered both the iOS and Android apps and published them on the Apple App Store and Google Play in approximately 2.5 months, within the agreed scope and budget. What I appreciated most was their ownership and proactive approach. They understood the business goals behind GetFlyMate, anticipated our needs, and helped guide decisions throughout market research, product planning, design, development, and deployment. They did not simply wait for instructions; they took responsibility, identified solutions, and made the process much easier for me as the founder. They were responsive to our needs and translated my vision into a clean, intuitive design from the first iterations. Their ability to combine technical problem-solving with a strong understanding of the product meant I could trust them to manage important aspects of the project without having to oversee every detail myself. Overall, communication, execution, and project management were excellent. They delivered on time, stayed within budget, and made the entire development process smooth and efficient.

What was your primary form of communication with Petadev?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most about Petadev was their ability to combine strong technical expertise with genuine business understanding and a high level of ownership. They did not approach GetFlyMate as just another mobile app development project. They took the time to understand the problem we wanted to solve for student pilots and helped shape the product from the early market research and planning stages.

Their UI/UX design was particularly impressive. They understood my vision and delivered the clean, intuitive design I was looking for from the very first iterations, which made the entire process much more efficient.

I also appreciated how proactive and independent they were. They consistently helped move the project forward, solved problems, and took a significant amount of work off my shoulders as the founder. The fact that they delivered and published both the iOS and Android apps in approximately 2.5 months, within the agreed scope and budget, further demonstrated their reliability and execution capabilities.

Excellent quality at every stage, from market research and product planning to UI/UX design, React Native and Expo development, the Node.js backend and deployment.

What makes Petadev stand out is that they combine end-to-end mobile app development expertise with the mindset of a genuine product partner. I would recommend them to businesses and founders looking for a team that understands both the technology and the business behind the product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Petadev could have done differently?

Honestly, I can't think of any significant areas for improvement based on our experience working with Petadev. They were highly reliable, proactive, and understood both our technical requirements and business goals from the beginning. The entire process, from market research and planning to design, development, and deployment, went very smoothly. Both apps were delivered and published within approximately 2.5 months, on time and within budget. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with their work and would gladly recommend them to other businesses looking for a reliable mobile app development partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Given that we were building a startup product from scratch, most challenges were related to evolving requirements and shifting priorities rather than the capabilities of the team. In the future, I would personally focus on more defined processes and communication frameworks to keep everything aligned, but the quality of the team and the development work itself was excellent.
